Uh- I like it when Kotoko is fascist cause I think that makes her a more compelling character, and a more compelling and direct commentary on our life.

Like- I think a lot of people can trick 'emselves into believing that fascists are uniquely inherently horrid, and as such THEY can't hold fashy beliefs and ideas. So Kotoko being so...genuinely a person really shakes that I think.

And that's doubly compelling when Kotoko is the AUDIENCE PARALLEL. Using Kotoko as a way to examine an Audience's biases and ideals and defensiveness at not being "inherently right." (Including me! Thank you Milgram for reminding me that I can get defensive jesus christ you snuck up on me there-)
