as some of you may know, I'm disabled because of depression and chronic fatigue, and I have a heavy treatment for my insomnia which, all combined prevent me to work. I have a disability allowance each month that allow me to live, but with the cost of life increasing more and more, it's becoming painful to keep up with bills and groceries, and I can't see myself asking help to my mother who is still struggling with the payment of my father's funeral. My dog passed away today. My mom called me this morning and I woke up to the news.

I know I said I was on my way back to posting again but he was my everything, and I wasn’t even home when he passed. I love all y’all 🩵

CONTAINING SPOILERS FOR HOGWARTS LEGACY ENDING…

I finished Hogwarts Legacy (didn’t go for the full 100% complete but I got 70% and I feel pretty good about that considering i walked into it knowing I wasn’t going for a full 100%) for the first time and I have to say that’s probably the most disappointing game ending I’ve ever had… so let me rant about it, shall I?

and this is coming from someone who Adores legacy. I loved the game! Truly! I loved the visuals and most of the characters. Despite it bugging out 3/4s the way thru so I don’t get any of the coins I collect making some quests literally impossible, which made me have to grind through 4 levels bc I couldn’t complete quests that required purchasing. And maybe that’s why I’m so mad, it’s taken me weeks to finish those 4 levels because I’m basically running around the far corners of the world trying to do everything I can to get XP which meant killing so many enemies. Oml, so frigging many.

but a clap and a house cup? … really???

I don’t know what I actually expected but I think it was a lot greater than that.

I also ended up not being attached to hardly any of the friends that surround you to cheer for you, most of them use the mc in a really selfish way, or atleast it felt like that.

So yeah I don’t know how the ending could’ve been better, I think I wanted more… sentimental scenes?? And a bit more mentioning of Fig than just Weasley going “mm yeah I knew y’all were friends….ANYWAYS how’s that field guide???” I guess I got pretty attached to Fig and the older characters, rather than the young teen characters that the mc was meant to be friends with.

This is totally just me whining about this ending. And i understand some people probably really enjoyed the ending but with my combination of unfortunate luck with bugs, I think I placed too much excitement and expectations in this ending, which it didn’t live up to, for me. Anyways thank you for attending my ted talk <3 im gonna go angrily grumble my way to bed.
