do u have any headcanons for gone characters in terms of gender or sexuality?

i do! all are pretty self-indulgent though. i answered a very similar ask to this previously (over a year ago what the heck) so i'll summarise here as they haven't changed much:

- canon sexualities are, well, the same, so dekka, edilio and roger are gay

- lana is aromantic, uses she/they pronouns, is also with dahra (in a queerplatonic relationship)

- quinn is pan

- caine is bi, so is diana, howard, mary, and basically everyone else unless stated otherwise

- i have some... thoughts about the trans!caine headcanon that i have seen like twice in various places, but i don't personally have that headcanon myself

- jezzie and sinder are dating

- drake is the only exception to all of this. he cannot be anything other than cis and straight

ooh what are your lgbtq+ headcanons for gone??

i actually don’t have many specific lgbtq+ headcanons, but generally speaking, for me, all characters are bisexual unless explicitly stated otherwise.

dekka, edilio and roger are still gay because it’s canon.

dahra is in a queerplatonic relationship with lana, who is aromantic and uses she/they pronouns.

quinn is pansexual. no real reason, i just think he should be.

like i said in my previous post, i do headcanon caine as demisexual (biromantic) somewhat, but it’s mostly projection. also i remember seeing some fics on ao3 which have caine as a trans guy and while i’m not super into it, i do kinda vibe with that headcanon.

other than that, i don’t really have any. i’d love to hear what other people think though!

that is a very good point! i think the only kids actually willing to kill anyone in the fayz at first would’ve been the coates kids* (i.e. drake). anyone who tried to hurt her would’ve just got caine’s wrath - hell, he literally buries drake in debris when he thinks drake killed her in hunger. her proximity to some very powerful people protected her to the point that, at least at first, she had no need to physically protect herself. that’s interesting.

*the human crew don’t count here because screw them.

by far my biggest pet peeve in the gone series fandom is the shocking amount of ppl that will go “yeahhh drake is my favourite character!❤️❤️💕” then turn around n say “hmm idk i just think astrid/diana/lana etc is annoying😕”

like WHY. why do you think they r annoying but not the character thats openly ableist and misogynistic and guilty of SO much worse ?? give me one thing any of the female protag characters in this series have done thats worse than anything hes done
