When did kyo figured out Tohru was Kyoko's daughter? Is it since he heard Tohru telling Hana and Uo the cap story?

Kyo knew from near the very beginning that Tohru was Kyoko’s daughter. We see later on that there was a moment after Kyo crashed through the roof and everyone transformed into their animal forms and then transformed back, that Shigure explained to Kyo who the girl was - and all he had to say was, “That’s Tohru Honda-san” and Kyo knew. 

Kyo knew Kyoko’s full name and he knew Tohru’s name from Kyoko. The scene that follows that one is when Shigure explains to Tohru that Kyo is the Cat. We see that Kyo is already reacting to Tohru based on knowing who she is. He says “What’s she –” cuts himself off, then, “What’s a girl doing here anyway?!” 

Kyo knew who Tohru was the whole time and his hostility towards her in the beginning, and his pretty extreme self-loathing and disappointment in himself afterwards whenever he was hostile towards her, are a result of that knowledge.
