Sorry I haven’t posted in a while!/recommendations for Radio apple reads!!

for my followers sorry I haven’t posted in a while BUT that is what happens when you get distracted rewatching one of your favorite anime’s because you find out they are releasing a new movie for it next year and it has been confirmed to be getting a FOURTH season!! Especially since his previous relationship with Vox casts a heavy shadow on Alastor’s relationship with intercourse. If you love a Lucifer who aims to please his partner having to help an Alastor who has only known cruelty in bed and the ups and downs of figuring out it’s ok to be catered to. This is a story about a drunk Lucifer after complaining about Alastor and his shady ways casts a truth spell on the hotel grounds so everyone who enters the hotel or its grounds can only speak the truth. It has some interesting twists and turns and so far no bedroom activities or anything so nothing on their position and it feels like they won’t get to that point but that is ok! The story is still great and worth a read!

to those who were waiting for that to be posted yesterday I apologize. I was supposed to post it but ended up sick with a fever which if I’m being honest surprised me. I hadn’t been sick like that in roughly six years? I don’t get sick often.

I am doing some final touch up’s on the winner and should hopefully be able to post it today though!! (My fever broke last night so I’m more so physically weak and just been recovering today but I’m better than the last couple days).

anyway the winner for those wondering is CHARLIE!! So we are giving you all a deleted scene that was written/thought up later for her. Yes some of the scenes are one’s we came up with later that could have fit but again large chapters haha.

Thoughts on possible story ideas? Hazbin hotel edition

Ok OK OK!!

I have been reading Guideverse stories lately just for the hell of it and I’m curious how would that show in the Hazbin hotel universe?

Really think of it you have a unique option here of having there be guides and Espers on earth but when they die if they end up in hell they still need to make a pact. Can you Imagine Alastor is a specialized Guide that has a rare mutation that allows him to use Esper abilities, but in hell he is found out by the king of hell himself who want’ him as his guide?

Honestly that was just my thoughts on how to Adapt a Guideverse story to Hazbin hotel and still keep with its storyline of this happening in hell. (I can see guides also being rare in hell to boot and Alastors mother being a guide that was abused heavily which is why he has such a deep disdain for Espers)

anyone else have any ideas on Guideverse Hazbin hotel?

What is the Ultimate compliment for fanfic writers?

I was just thinking here about what is the ultimate compliment for a write and there are a combo but for me personally? I’d say in depth comments.

Now I love comments with just hearts and even a little something here or there but the in depth ones that have the person discussing the story? Trying to piece together the hints left? Those are some of my favorite.

Another Ultimate compliment goes to those who have a talent in drawing. Personally I love seeing fanart for fanfics!! Be they mine or someone else’s fanfic I think it is an ultimate compliment for a writer to get a fanart for their work!!!

All comments are greatly appreciated and adored from readers though because it means you took the time out of your free time or busy schedule to dive into something that we as writers work hard on to get out of our heads. Even if that comment is to point out an oops in the story that we missed since those are a great help to writers especially if it true constructive criticism. Just so long as the one giving the comment remembers true constructive criticism is pointing out something that could enhance a story’s structure and make it flow smoother for the readers.

anyway just felt the need to get these thoughts out since I have been seeing a lot of those “show love for your favorite fanfic writer by commenting” posts lately. Even if you only comment on your favorite chapter or a chapter that got your blood pumping!

update for Soulmark Chapter 17

sorry it’s been a long wait. While chapter 17 is NOT ready to be released I decided to update everyone on what is going on.

First: this chapter has been fighting both King and I but luckily we have most of it done. Just a few more pieces to finish it.

Second: real like has gotten a bit in the way of completing those parts but we are trying so just hang in there fans!!

third: We will be releasing a note on this on chapter 17 as well and I will also place the poll here BUT while working on chapter 17 king and I have ALSO been working on SIDE STORIES!! These stories are things that we were not able to fit into the main storyline such as the other six springs, a deeper dive into Angel Dust’s mental and emotional state after the incident with Pentious and even a dive into Charlie’s emotions right after visiting heaven. We even have some background filler scenes that correlate to little side notes like with Stolas’s and the others. We have a couple of these scenes done and will be putting a poll up for what scene you the readers want to see first for a connected story. Then a Week after we post chapter 17 we will post the scene that has the most votes!! If that scene is a song scene the song will be added to the link of the Spotify playlist made for soulmark in the spot it would have been if the scene was apart of the main storyline!!

Thoughts on Ace Alastor being paired in fandom

Ok I normally don’t get involved in this kind of stuff but I was a little annoyed at a post I spotted recently that was speaking on how this person was annoyed that Alastor’s fanbase always pair him with someone when he doesn’t want a relationship. While on the opposite end of things Mammon who is also an Ace representation does actively seek a relationship with Levi queen of Envy.

Here is my thoughts on this. For Alastor’s character people take and incorporate concept alastor, Pilot Alastor, Canon Alastor and Zoomania Alastor. Who are all these Alastors? Concept Alastor is the one that was being built for Hazbin hotel in the beginning. This Alastor was originally paired with Mimzy as a romantic couple but was scrapped. Pilot Alastor is the slightly crueler Alastor with his talking microphone staff. Maybe he had possible romantic interests maybe not but his personality at times does bleed through into Fanon Alastor. Zoomania Alastor is the original Alastor Viv had created for a whole different story concept who was obsessed with the main female Villian and then of course we have canon Alastor who doesn’t show interests in any type of relationship UNLESS it benefits him.

Now people mix and match these concepts to create a Alastor that suits their Fanon and that is ok. There is an Alastor in that mix that show’s an interest in relationships. Now if you really want to be picky and just stick with Canon the ONLY time he EVER expressed not wanted a relationship of ANY KIND was with Angel when he offered a purely sexual relationship which Alastor shot down instantly. I know people would point out Vox in this situation but here is the clincher what we know of Vox and Alastors relationship is that they were at one point in time friends. That Vox has an obsession with Alastor and that Alastor left around the time Valentino came into the picture which is shown when Valentino eggs Vox on right before stay gone played.

For me what I think happened with Vox and Alastor is either Vox wanted a deeper relationship with Alastor which included a more physical aspect and Alastor said no OR Vox brought in Valentino and I cannot see Alastor getting along with the moth at ALL. Last thought is that Vox kept pushing Alastor to change, advance and upgrade which that just wasn’t Alastor. He is a radio host. Radio honestly is forever, it is still used and listened to in modern society even talk shows are still listened to. Radio waves are needed for pretty much everything using telecommunications. Your phones, media, TV, internet, ect it all depends on radio waves. Even major hospital equipment needs radio waves, the only reason I know that was I got bored one day while my sister was in the hospital recovering from birth and read the side panels on the machines.

Anyway back to the concept of Alastor and relationships since I Really got off on a tangent there. Alastor respects women too much to sexualize them. You see this with his interactions with Rosie, Mimzy, Charlie, Nifty and even Vaggie. Anyone else who would have threatened Alastor the way Vaggie did would have been ripped to shreds. He allows Nifty to climb all over him Rosie to hang off his arm as if he were escorting her, Charlie to touch him. Let’s not forget the crap Mimzy pulled in the beginning, she got off with a leave unless you want redemption while Husker who was trying to warn him about Mimzy and mentioned him being collared nearly got torn to shreds.

I’m just saying for Alastor there are a LOT of layers and possibilities, and that he never truly denied wanting a relationship he just never confirmed it either. I think Alastor would need someone special to catch his attention to the point of wanting that kind of relationship similar to his obsession with the Villianess in Zoomania.

Now we get to Mammon and why people don’t often use him as the representation for Ace in relationships even though he has shown an interest in such a thing with Levi. What it boils down to is he is the embodiment of his sin. A lot of people are probably reading this and thinking “Duh he is the sin of greed” but that is just it every facet of his personality is rooted in greed meaning the depth you built for his relationships need to be rooted in greed. You don’t have as much room for his romantic personality to grow and expand. And yes he may not be a cannibalistic serial killer (which again Alastor is but does not mean he cannot feel for someone just look at ted bundy the man had an obsession with his mother and now I am seeing parallels between Al and ted yup lets drop that thought) he is still not as easy to dive in on an emotional roller coaster ride as say Alastor or even Ozzy.

Because I know someone is going to pull into the conversation that Ozzy is the embodiment of Lust and yet he found a pure relationship like bro Lust has many different forms. Lust for a relationship and Lust for a single individual, lust for true feelings and true companionship. Lust is not just sexual it has a much wider spectrum in the relationship department than Greed.

Anyway Mammon is a mixed bag for relationships because he truly does embody the elements of greed it is harder to give enough wiggle room to his personality to give him a possibly meaningful relationship without butchering his base personality which is greed. He want’s and want’s and want’s until there is nothing left to want for then want’s more.

could Mammon have more rep as a Ace character wanting a romantic relationship? Yes but the difficult thing is finding someone who can write that while balancing his personality and building the relationship around his embodiment, greed.

anyway these are just my rambling thoughts on this subject. I probably have missed a few things since my brain loves going sideways then upside down when typing things like this.

Fic recommendation for Hazbin hotel!!! Part ??? 16 and 17??? RadioApple/AppleRadio fanfic

ok there have been others before this so if your looking for more recommendations I suggest you look through my page since I think I have done 15 stories total two per post!!! anyway on to the story recommendation!!!!

Guardian of Eden by Crashbandicoot96, and now that I think about it I’m pretty certain this is the second story I have recommended from this particular writer!! Anyway it’s got two chapters but only chapter one is posted so far. This story is about Alastor trying to make his way to a place the people of his town call the garden of Eden for a flower that could be used to heal his mother of her illness. What he finds there is a massive snake guardian that makes a deal with him and it goes from there. It IS RadioApple pretty certain it’s top Lucifer bottom Alastor but if not sorry? Still good.

The second recommendation would have to be~ Another kind of hunter, a different type of prey by CatShapedCreature and it is about serial killer Alastor moving to a small town that has all our favorite Hazbin denizens living in it and buying a small cottage out in the middle of nowhere and a large swath of land where he hunts down and disposes of his victims. He meets a strange creature on his lands and it goes from there. IT is a bottom Alastor top Lucifer fic Alastor is a trans man and to put it bluntly its monster f****** anyway it’s pretty good.

I fully support this as an Asexual who is sex neutral I don’t mind it but it’s not something I purse and I read stories where he does have sex but I have also found some that were a great representation of both being neutral and completely against it but still be in a relationship. I have even read a couple of GREAT stories where it’s more of a platonic relationship where He and in this case Lucifer since I am a Radioapple fan are in a relationship that aids one another. Like that in between state from best friend to lover.

Let the fandom pair him with whoever they damn well want.I mean we have other fandoms that pair completely opposite of what the characters sexuality is (I’m looking at you Harry Potter fandom and all you wonderful Drarry fans). SO enjoy what you enjoy and let other enjoy what they enjoy.
