Hey, Mods, how are you doing? I've got a question for you. Do you plan to do KiriBaku Big Bang this year as well?

Possibly! Due to a couple of issues, I’m the only mod around, so I’ll have to hold applications. And the word count will be lower as well, so that’ll definitely have more people interested.

bloodred (how to train your dragon)

Summary: 

The dragon was the colour of fire. Scales that caught the light and shone red-orange-yellow under the blazing heat. The dragon’s wound was open, its life source poisoning the beautiful colour of the transparent waves with red. Crimson, carmine red that painted the dragon’s lower body, that painted the ever-so-perfect sand, staining all a dark grinning red. The viking grinned and released his axe from around his waist, holding it up to the dragon’s neck with complete and utter pride. 

Bakugou Katsuki is a Viking, and the leader and to-be chief of the Bakugou Clan. But his life changes when he comes in contact with a legendary Bloodflame, who was known as Kirishima Eijirou.

Summary: Friends-With-Benefits-To-Lovers, slow burn

In an effort to get his emotions and adrenaline out of his system after an intense fight with villains, Bakugou ends up with Kirishima in his bed. That, of course, leads to them falling into the oh-so-predictable routine of friends with benefits. But when Kirishima realizes that he has growing feelings about his best friend, it turns into an entirely different ballgame, so he decides to call it off. Still, Kirishima’s never been able to stifle his feelings, and Bakugou just might become too distant for their friendship to survive.

Hi, I was taking a look through the writer requirements and...10k?! That's a huge word count, and a huge stretch and I know that I and many other writers will greatly struggle with something like that. Would it be ok if the guide was around 5k-10k or so? Because I can barely get out 5k in a month, let alone 10... When writing, it's so hard to reach a big word count, at least to me personally.

Nope, we’re doing ten thousand words. Minimum, no negotiations. You’d be attempting to do so in EIGHT MONTHS, which I believe ( this is a general estimate, I can’t speak for everyone ) is enough time to crank out at least eight or nine thousands words you can be proud of. We’re not going to lower our number because the ultimate point of the bang is to challenge yourself and have fun!! We have about ten writers with us now, so those brave souls are definitely up for the challenge.

We’re not asking you to do the impossible—this isn’t the biggest bang there ever was. But if you’d like to participate and can’t do 10,000, that’s fine. We ask that you at the very least try!
