Since I have nothing really new to post, here’s some old stuff.

First: I apologize for the lack of post and answering questions. Real Life and School are getting in the way. Second: This is basically a vent and a rant. If I posted it on DeviantArt, I would be swarmed by EpicShitty69’s whiteknights. But this is based on an actual event that also happened to a few others as well. I won’t say who; you know who you are. It went like this from a message spammed 12 times on 11 different pics and my profile, bypassing my block: "Oh hai Kaveren how ya doing? I kinda wanted to make peace. :et’s make some good stuff together hmm? As a little peace token for a new happy future partnership, I am giving you an exclusive download of an updated version of my OC. Just click the link to get it. It’s a link to my private BeHance stash." It’s not really a peace offering when the link is that “Go to Sleep” screamer. I say “Ha!” EpicShitty, you don’t know me very well; I use creepypasta images to get a good night sleep. YOU FAIL! YOU LOSE! YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PLAY THE MARTYR! Have you seen the shit quin and beardeddoomguy work on? Quin makes shitty pony porn and beardeddoomguy makes half-assed pony models for SFM. Both are fucking cancer to SFM and need to die.

No, I’ve never seen the other stuff they do. I legitimately do not give two fucks about their MLP stuff because I am not interested in their MLP stuff. I have never had MLP-related stuff shown to me by these two, and I have never asked them to have it shown to me. They have not told me to rot in a hole because I have no intention to care about the stuff they do that is MLP or say I’m not interested in that stuff, because I’ve never had to say the latter since they have not forced any of their MLP-related things on me.

These two have made content for TF2 and SFM, and what I give a shit about is TF2 and SFM. To say that a content contributor is cancer to SFM and to wish death upon them is ass backwards and you need to chill. I sure as fuck am not okay with SFMLab becoming overridden with terrible nude or fetish models (especially the FNAF models dear God just why) but I’m not going to get my panties in a twist over it and send death threats to the modeler or compare them to some lower lifeform like some polished gold-painted elitist assturd with a crown on their head just because I don’t like it. I’m not a fucking child. If I had a complaint, I address it at the content and leave the author out of it unless I’ve got a problem with them, usually if it’s their attitude about things and not their interest in things. Here, have some non-named callouts and complaints as an example of having issues with beliefs as well as content (and to those being called out, feel free to MGE me if you have an issue with me):

An SFM animator who really likes putting one character on a pedestal, who so happens to be one of my least favourite characters who I am tired of seeing put on the pedestal as the one-man army in a team-based universe. They are very good at animating and they have great skill within SFM as a whole. I disapprove of their toxic attitude towards anti-activism because believing a guy loopholing a rape argument was correct (as well as a ton of other problematic opinions that I found were too much to be patient about) is not okay with me.

An SFM artist who also puts one character on a pedestal to the point where there is a private model circulating around that has been heavily modified to fit the appeal of the people who also put this character on a pedestal, and see the parts of this character that make the character they were originally based off of as ugly or not part of their glorified idol. It’s to the point where parts of that character are being Photoshopped to look more aesthetically pleasing, and while their art is VERY good, I cannot support practices or fetishizing to that extent. 

An SFM animator who has made a dedicated machinima series that is probably one of the most well-known TF2 machinima in SFM existence but I do not find it very good. I find it mediocre, unoriginal, and I don’t enjoy the way this animator treats their female characters nor can I accept the mentality that they think it’s okay to treat those characters like that based on their gender because they believe “it’s time for them to get hurt instead of guys”. However, knowing that they are not okay with how creepily popular their series got as well as hearing that the reason their episodes were so rushed was because of not doing it for an audience but for himself in their spare time away from a daunting responsibility is a fair enough reason - not entirely excusable for flaws but it makes sense. 

Nowhere in any of these have I called them “cancer” to the community or wished some terrible fate upon them, because as said before, even if I think their content or they themselves are a problem it doesn’t mean I  should be a shitty human being towards them. And let’s be fucking real I’ve got better things to do with my time than get as angry as you are over somebody else’s shit on the internet. There are other things to be mad about within the SFM community or SFM community members’ attitudes/beliefs, and Lord help you if a big part of what rustles your jimmies is people who make less-than-top models or ponies because there is a lot of that out there. 

A contributor is a contributor, and if you have a problem with them, their tastes in things, their morals or personality, etc, then that is your problem, not mine. Trying to make me see how “terrible” of people they are because they like things you don’t like or you feel strongly against things they do unrelated to the job at hand is unprofessional. I decide who I want to work with or promote, not you. Addressing your concerns is fine and can help me decide if I do want to collaborate further, and thank you for addressing your concern - given that it was a stupid ass concern I’m choosing to ignore it, just as I’m ignoring whatever issues you have with Quin and BDG. These are not the first two people that others have had a problem with me hanging around or working with, and it won’t be the last. If you have any more concerns revolving this, then that’s tough because from this point on, it’s no longer my problem. 

tl;dr: change your diaper, it kind of stinks. like your attitude.
