Project Umeed, the one-month campaign initiated by Kites Foundation that aims to distribute learning materials to thousands of students facing financial crisis set a remarkable beginning at Kilimanur Govt. HSS, Thiruvananthapuram. Learning materials were handed over to about 46 students with the cooperation of National Service Scheme volunteers. We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between KITES Foundation and Group of Technology Companies(GTech), an Industry association of Technology Companies in Kerala. Academia and Technology Focus Group is a group of leaders from GTech which focuses on developing a framework to help students become Industry ready with a long term vision to improve the ecosystem in Kerala, both for Industry, Startups and R&D. The MoU establish the terms and understanding between both the parties to facilitate collaborative activities that are mutually beneficial.We believe that this could be the most effective and successful cooperation in the future as far as technology for social cause is concerned.
