So...I was reading manga and stumbled upon this:

I wasn't ready to let go of Vnc just yet and started watching Eng Dub...and I have to say it's gold.😭

To me dubs sound weird, especially when I know the anime in sub version. Some dubs simply can't express it on a same level as subs because of cultural difference and then there's the way dubs VAs try to overact certain lines the same way subs VAs do it. The thing is what sound good in japaneese, doesn't necessarily sound good in english.

So, in my experience most dubs aren't good. The most prominent exception of that is (in my opinion) SK8 and Disasterious Life of Saiki K.

And then, there is Vnc dub. And it is just amazing. ❤️

I think it's the mix of the fact that they got such a good cast and the fact that Vnc has lots of western humour (or rather there are situations where western sarcasm fits just right).

Anyway, the dub is really good and I encourage you to try and watch it.

Anime & manga

Beautiful, simply beautiful ❤️

Goodness gracious. I just watched the last episode of Vnc and...I'm speechless....

The way animators managed to capture the essence of latest chapters while not cutting all that much- PERFECT 😭

Add VAs' hard work and you get this masterpiece. Like, the way the show concludes is perfect, both for those who want to read manga further (or already has done that) and for those who are just content with the show.

There are still mysteries obviously. There are still questions to be answered. BUT. I think that ending anime on chapter 55.5 is the best option.

(I know that for now we only have like chapter further than that but hush)

I admit I was kind of worried where exactly would anime stop.

Like, don't get me wrong. Pandora Hearts was good and I get that they had to stop the anime somewhere so they changed story accordingly. Still. To me (especially compared to manga) it felt kind of cheap, not gonna lie.

BUT Studio Bones did so well here 😭

They gave us chapter 55.5 -The highlight of current story, character and relationship development.

And they gave it to us with perfect execution.
