It all started when pieces of Junko's corpse were found on the schoolgrounds.

Well no, it actually started the evening before, when Kiyotaka met her at the schools library at exactly 1 am.

"I know your secret Enoshima and i must ask you to not do it" he said calmly.

In this moment Junko threw some water at him "and i know yours".

Unfazed Kiyotaka looked at her and shook his head "not well enough it seems".

Meanwhile Junko's face turned pale white as Kiyotaka turned away from her "holy water affects only minor demons, goodnight Enoshima".

An hour later she woke up in front of a throne "where am i?"

"In Hell, my dear" the demon on the Throne answered "and it seems, that you've tried to attack my son with holy water"

Junko was shocked and begged for forgiveness, but Takaaki didn't listen.

Meanwhile all the students of Hope's Peak were scared, as there was an unsolved murder directly on their schoolgrounds.

Kiyotaka sighed, when Mondo stormed into the libary "Kyodai, how often do i have to tell you that it's not safe walkin' around here alone, especially this late"

The hall monitor cursed his father in his thoughts "Mondo i don't think that the murderer will strike again".

"How are you so sure?" Mondo demanded to know.

"Look even if they were to strike again, you have to agree that I'd be strong enough to protect myself" Kiyotaka tried his best to explain to his boyfriend.

Mondo hugged him "Nuh-uh. Even if, you'll have much better chances with me by your side anyway".

A week after the murder Kiyotaka got a call from his father, but Mondo picked it up "Hello?"

"You aren't my son" Takaaki said.

"Ah yeah, I'm not. I'm Mondo"

"And why do you have my sons Phone, Mondo?"

" 'cause Taka is asleep"

"Well if my son is asleep, why did you pick up the call?"

"I didn't want him to wake up, y'know, he is barely sleeping anyways"

Takaaki sighed his patience was running thin "could you please wake him up?"

"Nah"

"Well then explain what you are doing in my sons room, that late at night, when he surely isn't awake to entertain you?"

"Taka, your father is calling you".

After Kiyotaka came back from his forced holiday, Mondo still insisted on sticking on him like 24/7. At least this time it was being useful as his wounds still hurt pretty much. Also it was much easier to convince his father to let him back to school, with someone looking out for him. Even if Takaaki had stated several times that he would like Kiyotaka to leave Hope’s Peak entirely. But seriously Takaaki, have faith.

Well now back to the Point. It took literal days until Mondo had deemed Taka fit enough, to meet up with his Gang again. When Mondo left, he proceeded to have a Phone call with Junko. In which she said, that she would like Kiyotaka to recruit Nagito Komaeda, since he could proably handle the Danger of Nagito's sole existente better than Junko herself.

Hearing that Kiyotaka preapared himself for every possible scenario. For the most dangerous Kind of Person even, but not for that traumatized kid with selfesteem issues that is additionally riddled with cancer.

So in order to not recruit him for Junko‘s plans he sat down besides Nagito to do something that no one did try for a very long time: talking to him. Even if that meant getting hit by a truck once or twice.

As if the Universe wanted to see how true that was See how their one of their conversations went:

„ (..)so Nagito, since you seem to have such an Obsession with hope, how about you try to have some yourself?" Kiyotaka asked.

But before Nagito could ramble about how even Kiyotaka will grow tired of his bad Luck, a truck crashed into the Hope’s Peak Campus, right into Kiyotaka. While luckily no one else got hurt, Mondo's heart stood still for a second „TAKA!"

Just as he ran to retrive his boyfriend, Kiyotaka somehow stood on his legs again. His hair was white. Then he looked at his sleeve, Red Drops of blood. Shortly before he collapsed he told Nagito and Mondo not to worry. After that, his hair turned black again and Kiyotaka lied on the floor.

But he was very determined to not having to spend a day in bed again. So he pulled himself up. Ignoring the pleas of his worried boyfriend and went to his room. There he pulled out his protective gear and some tools. At this rate he will soon be able to get thrown out of a plane without even getting a scratch.

To Mondo‘s and Takaaki’s despair, of course.

‚Save the Taka‘

Demon: So you are telling me that there’s a child with incredibly bad luck, right?

ButterCorn: Yes.

Demon: and understandably no one wants to be around him, because everyone who is will get hurt even worse than him?

ButterCorn: Yeah.

Demon: and of course my dear baby son wants to spend time with him, for the sole reason that he is literally too kind for this world.

ButterCorn: Typical Taka, right?

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: At least he can improve his safety gear like that.

Demon: My son shouldn’t need to wear safety gear to school!

Demon: and he would even need it if he wasn’t so intent on helping people who clearly don’t deserve it.

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: Well Nagito didn’t do anything.

Demon: Well, he still is the reason a fucking truck crashed into my son!

Everyone’sMom: and i hope it’ll stay that way.

After Kiyotaka put away his phone he was contemplating how Nagito could help him with his Plan. It was almost too easy. Make Nagito and Junko meet up and let a truck crash into Junko. If she survives that, he could just mess with her vitals in the hospital in a way that could be blamed on the truck, or whatever had hit her.

But did he really want to fulfill his job on the cost of Nagito‘s self-esteem? Adding another trauma to the kid that already has to live with the knowledge that he was partly responsible for his parents death.

Damn it! Since when did he care about such things? Kiyotaka clenched his Hands to fists. Fuck his Morals. Where did he even get them from? More importantly, how does he get rid of them?

Well there was no purpose in answering this question. Instead he straight up walked out of the Nurse‘s room and went to his dorm room instead. Where some of his classmates already awaited him. Namely, Mondo, Yasuhiro, Leon, Aoi and fucking Junko.

He sighed and asked them why they were in his dorm. Soon he found out that all of them thought that Taka derserved a break from the chaos of the last days. So they offered to take care of his Hallmonitor duties while he could do whatever. They even had gotten the Headmaster’s okay, if he wanted to skip a day of school.

All because they already knew that he wouldn’t stay in the Nurse‘s office anyway. But how was he supposed to relax, not knowing what danger Junko had planned for his boyfriend. And the others too of course.

Still he chose to attend his classes in peace. For once.

At least that was the plan. Until the fire Alarm went off and everyone walked out of the Building. He contemplated whether or not he should do so too, since he was technically on vacation.

But his boyfriend was still in the probably burning Building. With Junkrat. Of course the others too, but Junkrat could burn for all he cares.

So in the Building he stayed and grabbed a fire extinguisher. Soon he saw some little Monokumas on his way. Armed, but not there to fight him as these robot bears somehow seemed to know that he was involved in Junko‘s litte game.

He looked down on the teddybear „Monokuma, what happened?“

Instead of giving him an answer the bear only told him that this information was classified. To which he obviously decapitated the thing. The next Monokuma on his way was still not able to tell him, but at least it led him in the right direction.

Suddenly something exploded.

Seconds he stood before the Chemistry Lab. It was Locked.

Then Junko walked up to him. She was literally eating Popcorn.

„What did you do?“ Kiyotaka asked.

„Oh i thought i would have some fun with our classmates and Nagito“ Junko laughed.

Then she was going on about how good the despair on his face looked.

To which Kiyotaka hit the door. While Junko told him something about what a tragic story this was „and the Hallmonitor would even have been in time, weren’t it for the missing Key“.

Soon Kiyotaka‘s hair became white. He raised his fist.

Junko smiled „Yes Taka, feel the despair“ .

Instead he ripped the door out. Then he looked into the Lab

Fire everywhere and Nagito in the middle. And the others, passed out on the floor.

So he took Mondo in a bridal carry and called help. All while attempting to comfort Nagito. Meanwhile Junko shot photos of the whole thing and put them into the classchat:

NaEGGi (Makoto): what happened?

Fashionista (Junko): The Lab was burning!

NaEGGi (Makoto): what? That’s horrible!

Fashionista (Junko): Yeah and the door was locked. Like, no one could find the key in time.

Fight Club (Sakura): is everyone okay?

Fashionista (Junko): Yes. Luckily @Everyone‘sMom, punched the door open, once we knew that we wouldn’t find the key. So everyone who took Taka’s duties for today is currently staying in the med bay. Nobody’s life is in danger right now.

Soon all the students were advised to stay out of the school Building until the situation is resolved.

On the Campus Kiyotaka decided to distract Nagito from the Situation and invited him for some Ice cream. Which none of them got to eat, as a really big bird stole it after they had purchased it. After that there was a Storm, and a wind strong enough to blow a person away. Namely, Nagito.

After they were totally drenched from the pouring rain, they went back to school.

Sometime later they sat at the cafeteria. Where Nagito asked Taka, why he would even wanted to be around a hopeless case such as him. To which Kiyotaka literally turned into a motivational speaker, telling Nagito that he shouldn’t look down on himself like that.

At least in the evening, without anyone to distract him and Junkhoe being somewhere else entirely, he could finally chill for an evening and log in on his Tumblr account for the first time since he took the Hope’s Peak mission.

Finally on his favorite Hellsite again.

Okay okay since Taka doesn’t like being called a genius but like when COVID hit and things like that or for personal reasons he had to do online schooling when he got a question right in one of his hws online and they said “amazing your a genius in this!” How would he react and would he get used to it since it would be repeated so many times?

Answer to this wonderful question 

Yes as soon as Taka learns that Heck is a blend of Fuck and Hell he uses it a very lot.

Takaaki thinks that it’s cute that his 12-13 years old son tries to avoid swearing that hard. But as soon as Kiyotaka turns 15 Takaaki is crying. He wants Taka to say „Fuck“ so bad it’s almost pathetic. But only almost.

Mondo, Daiya and the rest of Class 78 soon feel the same. Like Taka’s „blend swearing“ as i call it brings Junko to a whole new heights of despair. Like they are begging Taka to just swear.

Mondo: Dude, we know that you are the fucking Moral Compass, but please, you just have to swear.

Class 78 *with teary eyes*: pls swear like a normal person.

Kiyotaka *very much enjoying himself*: Okay, what the Heck guys.

Class 78 + Daiya: *ugly crying*

Takaaki: *shaking his head*

Kiyotaka *to himself*: This is even better than killing.

Summary

Unfortunately from this day on Kiyotaka noticed Toranosuke being mean to his father on many occasions. So in the naïvety of his youth he called a random government official, to ask why the former prime minister wasn’t in prison yet. To which the official ranted for hours that he wished that he could put him in prison. But sadly too many of Toranosuke‘s friends were somehow still active politicians. „Believe me, if i could get rid of those corrupt beasts, i would. But putting them in prison won’t work.“ the official ranted. „Well then what would work?“ Kiyotaka wanted to know. „Honestly. Probably only killing them. I would do it myself, but murdering doesn’t exactly help with a political career“ answered the politician. Now Kiyotaka had an idea „tell me your price, names and addresses, maybe if the offer is well enough i‘ll do it“.

Everyone‘s Mom: great, that will of course make it a lot more complicated.

Everyone’s Mom: But Daiya, can i ask you for one thing?

Everyone’s Mom: If you call me a poor little meow meow ever again, I’ll unfortunately have to kill you. I would actually hate to do that since it would make Mondo upset. So don’t do it.

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: Of course Mr. Sniper! Yes! Sorry!

Kiyotaka sighed and then focused on making a plan to make Junko confess her plans. Easy and a good way to spend the night. But then he heard a knock on the door. If he were a little bit more self disciplined he would keep the door shut. Luckily for Mondo, all of his self discipline left him as soon as he was near.

So he opened the door and let himself get distracted by Mondo. At least in the morning he would be too sore to care.

In the next days after that Kiyotaka noticed that his boyfriend was a lot stickier than normal. Like normally he already behaved as if he was glued on Taka, but this? Why?

Normally that wouldn’t be a problem for Taka, but Mondo scaring away everyone didn’t help him with stopping Junko right now.

So when Daiya told him that the crazy Diamonds would have another night out, he didn’t hesitate to kick him out of the Dorms curfew be damned Mondo! Go out have fun! Don’t be the reason for the destruction of the world!

After Mondo was away Junko suddenly wrote him a message. In which she asked him to meet him in the libary. Taka denied the request as it now was curfew time. So Junko called him about joining her little club of people that were also treated unfairly in their childhoods „(…) come on Taka, it will be fun. We talk to each other, eat snacks play games, and maybe talk about getting some revenge if you get what i‘m saying“

Junko was delighted that Taka immediately agreed. Even if Mukuro warned her about not knowing the reason. To which she answered that being grandson of a disgraced politician was enough in Japan to want some sweet revenge. A fact that Mukuro indeed found agreeable.

After wiring every of his clothes, he went to sleep. Sadly it was soon interrupted when he was informed about the fact that Mondo has been indeed gotten arrested again.

Luckily the officers from that exact police station already knew him, so as soon as he was there he was already offered a coffee and cookies. Additionally he was on first name basis with most of the officers here.

Mondo meanwhile wrote something with his hidden smartphone

ButterCorn: @Demon is it normal for cops to be at first name basis with the people that come and bail other people out?

Demon: No. Why?

A week later Junko announced to Taka, that her club would have a weekend trip to get him properly introduced to everyone. So he was instructing an special troupe officer on how to take over his Hallmonitor duties while he was away. Soon the officer groaned: „listen Taka, i fight terrorists sometimes. I am able to watch some teenagers for two days.“

Kiyotaka chuckled„if you think so Theo, then so be it.“

When Kiyotaka arrived in Junko‘s hideout she hugged him and suddenly pushed him into some kind of machine. Then she closed the door. First Taka tried to break the door by banging against it. Only then he realized in which kind of machine he was in. He abruptly closed his eyes. Oh he would really dislike it to get brainwashed like that.

An uncharacteristical amount of swearing out loud later, Junko finally opened the door and ordered him to get her a drink „and why the absolute fuck would i do that, Junkhoe?“

Kiyotaka gasped. Had he just said that out loud?

Junkhoe and her sister meanwhile looked at him with very big eyes and asked him how he had been able to resist her great invention.

Kiyotaka shook his head „i don’t know, i don’t care. But you better have an good explanation for that. Bitch“.

„Okay i will explain, but promise to not be mad.“ Junko said.

To which Kiyotaka answered „i did, would have broken that promise just now“

Junko nodded „that’s fair“ and then started to explain that she wanted to brainwash him to turn him into a lackey for her world domination plans „but instead you somehow resisted my great machine and got white hair“.

At that moment Kiyotaka would have liked nothing more than to kill her right, fucking, now. Instead he breathed in and out, for at least three times. After that he felt much calmer. Meanwhile Junko noted that he wasn’t supposed to remove the effects of her machine just like that. He also had noticed that his hair had turned black again. Otherwise his brain to mouth filter fortunately switched itself on again.

But just as Junko and her lackeys stepped back in fear Kiyotaka began to laugh „don’t worry Enoshima, actually I like how your plans sound like, so i‘ll participate in that little game of yours, for now.“

When the weekend was over he messaged Theo:

Killer Kid (Kiyotaka): Could you watch Hope’s Peak just for a litt bit longer? I need to be somewhere else that week.

Theodore (Theo): Please don’t be serious.

Kiyotaka spent that week in a government research facility, in which lots of scientists tried to work out what Junko‘s machine did do to him. In the course of the week they found out that it gave the assassin access to a more unhinged part of his own personality.

He also discovered that he could switch it on and off either at will or with an very strong emotion, namely, rage. Another discoveries were that he tended to act much more impulsive when in that state, also he was much more honest when he was like that. An advantage of his white haired form was, that he felt literally no pain when being like that. Also his physical strength increased a little bit as well as his combat skills.

But even if Junko‘s invention caused him to gain that new form the scientists declared that he was free to continue just as he had since he seemed to have full control over turning into that form and, most importantly turning back.

So in the end he didn’t stay the whole week within the research facility, but only until Wednesday. All of this only to return to a school that is literally being in shambles. Outside the ultimate cult leader and his cult were fighting D.I.C.E , a group of prankster kids that didn’t even go to Hope’s Peak.

Not knowing what was going on, Kiyotaka decided to watch the fight from the sidelines: it was the exact moment when Kokichi, the leader of the kids decided to throw a smoke Bomb in the direction of the sect leader. Meanwhile the other D.I.C.E Members tied him down.

When the smoke dissolved Kokichi stepped in Front of the cult Leader and demanded to know where Kiyotaka was. Said Kiyotaka took a look at bis Phone. Then He fondly remembered when he got to know these Kids.

If Kiyotaka remembered right it was when he was fourteen. On his way back from a longer Mission. A smoke bomb thrown in front of his motorcycle, that led him to chase down whomever responible for that: a Group of orphans, that were all younger than him.

Of course He couldn't let them continue to live on the streets. So he got them a proper hideout and an abandoned Garden for food purposes. Also he forced them to go to school, because why not?

When he left for Hope's Peak he promised the Kids to call them weekly. A call that he missed just an hour ago. So, why were they already wrecking additional havoc on the schoolgrounds ?!

Kiyotaka tilted his head to the side „Hello?"

Soon he was caught in a hug from all sides as literally all of the D.I.C.E Members embraced him.

After freeing the cult Leader, he told the kids to sit down and to stay in some of the spare bedrooms of Hope's Peak for the night, as it was far too late for them to be outside. The kids, even Kokichi, knew better than to argue with him about that.

Next he went into the Schoolbuilding, and discovered a Group of special agents that somehow has been cornered by knife Roombas. Kiyotaka sighed and pulled out the carpentry gloves that bis boyfriend has gifted him only a few weeks ago.

But it seemed that after the roombas were finally gone his Problems had only just begun. At least that was the Impression he got when he saw Mondo, whom was desperately trying to fight several Monokumas with bis Pickaxe.

Now, he knew how these Monokumas worked. There was literally no way to defeat them without a proper gun. Well, or any other weapon that he couldn't just pull out in a school enoviroment. Suddenly he remembered: Maybe he could defeat them in his Whitehaired form! He sighed. It was at least worth a try. And there goes his dearly loved brain to mouth Filter.

In the end he could defeat not only the Monokumas, and take care of the Chaos that the other Ultimates had caused (for example the Ultimate arsonist or the Ultimate stuntman, But also man others). But his Shirt was torn, therefore his whole upper body was covered in still bleeding scars. When he turned back to normal, the scars started to hurt.

After Mondo dragged his boyfriend to the nurse's Office, he took his Smartphone:

How would kiyotaka act around other classes? (In hopes peak)

Does he ever get caught and then released bc politicians and government officials come and get him?

Attention: I’m using the fabricated pasts of the V3 students as their real pasts. Spoilers from Danganronpa Killing Harmony, if you want a spoiler free version, feel free to ask.

For most members of the other classes Kiyotaka is just the a little bit Hall Monitor whom keeps the Hope‘s Peak Students out of trouble. Unless he had to help them Personally at some point. I mean, there’s a reason that later on he is called Mom in the class chat.

So.. he probably already used his connections to put the dad of Kazuichi Souda behind prison bars, threatening to kill him if he ever said something mean to his son again. 

Befriended Kokichi and D.I.C.E and as a result probably taught them a few things about taking care of themselves. To his initial dismay that led the prankster kids to often troll the Crazy Diamonds, until Kiyotaka made it clear to them that the Bikers were no danger to anyone.

Also he tries to teach Nagito some self confidence and obviously get him some psychological help. Even if he was hit by a truck once or twice as a result. At least his connection to Nagito helped him to improve his protective gear greatly. He can now get hit by a truck without even getting a scratch.

Kiyotaka also led a negotiation with Fuyuhiko about Yasuhiro‘s debt. Intimidating him and earning his respect. Even if the Yakuza kindly requested him to stay away from his clan. (Meanwhile he waits for the right opportunity to recruit Kiyotaka, in turn Kiyotaka patiently waits for the day he is ordered to kill Fuyuhiko)

Plus he often scolds Hiyoko for bullying others.

So the students of the Hope’s Peak (other classes) see him as either one of those two things: Mom/Psychologist or very uptight Hall Monitor. Later on (when he is in the middle of the second year it’s only Mom to most of the students, besides Fuyuhiko and Peko who refer to him as useful threat)

And i should not forget to mention his special relationship with Maki, who may be an assassin too, but was, unlike him forced into it. He even convinced her that she doesn’t have to continue being an asassin if she doesn’t want to (He even offered her to take out the cult that had forced her into becoming an assassin, an offer that she gladly took) Kiyotaka is also mainly responsible for the fact that she could stay in Hope’s Peak even after giving up both ultimates (it’s stated that while she keeps the orphanage she grew up in running, she wasn’t even fond of children at that time)

It basically went like this:

A Teacher of the 79th: Introduce yourself to your seniors

Maki: I‘m Maki the Ultimate Child caregiver 

Kiyotaka: *thinking* No you’re not.

Let’s just say at some point he had to help all of the students at least once, leading his plan to stay unnoticed in Hope’s Peak to fail in every single way possible.

So the students either love him or tolerate his very existence for the sake of keeping this school standing. Meanwhile he laments his fate of being noticed. He just wants to gather enough evidence to murder Junko and get his degree. 

Kiyotaka: what did i do to make this children stick on me, like i was their mother?

Me: Maybe the things you did for them?

Kiyotaka: i was merely showing them some basic Human decency.

Maki, Kokichi, Souda, Nagito and others: Something we were never shown before, Mom.

It becomes even better when he is buried in gifts on mothers day. Also Mondo getting a cup with „a dad“ written on it on father’s day. 

Kiyotaka getting caught on a mission would indeed be funny. But his professionalism wouldn’t allow it unless being caught was also part of the mission. Like being a distraction for another assassin trying to kill an government official.

Like, could imagine the following scenario:

Some other assassin: *Wants to kill some government official, but there isn’t enough evidence to prove them guilty*

Kiyotaka: *befriends said assassin, saying that they have the same goal*

Kiyotaka: *gathers evidence, fabricates evidence*

Kiyotaka & some other assassin: *get caught because Kiyotaka already handed in the evidence*

Unknowing police officers: *arrest both*

And then sometime later an government official will explain the very confused Police officers why they have to let Kiyotaka go immediately. Then everyone apologizes to Kiyotaka and the random government official drives him straight home (or on special occasions like this, they‘ll invite Taka to grab some food. Like:

The fucking Prime minister: Let him go.

Police officer: sir, he tried to kill you.

Prime minister: No he didn’t 

Prime minister: i know it sounds confusing but he really saved my life there

Prime minister: *hands them the evidence*

Police officers: *look at the evidence, apologize at least a thousand times*

Primer Minister *to Taka*: Now Kiyo, are you in the mood for some food?

Kiyotaka: sure, thank you sir.

Kiyotaka’s order is either a Happy Meal with black coffee or a long subway sandwich with cookies.

Is anyone here confused by Kiyotaka’s age?

Buckle up, it’s going to be a long answer and very much off topic as well!

Well first things first, a little bit backstory:

Taka‘s texting style is the only savage thing about Taka that no one, not even Takaaki, could deny. Even if he likes it that his son got a way with his words.

It was like, Taka that silly litte kid that hadn’t fought back his bullies until some sudden point when he was 13. Not that he suddenly got very violent or such (ignoring the murders) but he fought back more often than not succeeding to make bullies cry without using his fists.

Even if that sometimes had resulted in some fights in the class chat being read out aloud in PTA meetings:

Bully: Well at least my parents haven’t found me behind some kind of dumpster!

Taka: Well my Parents taking me home from there would at least imply that i, unlike you, was wanted by them. Meanwhile you are only here because your parents contraceptives didn’t work. I bet they are letting you feel it everyday too.

So Takaaki wouldn’t be suprised by Taka’s kind of texting, in fact he was sometimes even a victim of that too. Sometimes to the point where their conversations could be straight out a incorrect Quotes Generator.

[Taka being awake for far too many hours because this kid does not only have to finish some assignments for school, but also has to plan some murders]

[Meanwhile Takaaki is working nightshift]

Takaaki: why are you still awake Taka ?

Takaaki: Dear son, you always finish your assignments at least one week before you have to hand them in. So why would you feel the need to study at 3 am?

Kiyotaka: So i can always hand my assignments in at least a week before the due date.

Takaaki could you please not?

Kiyotaka: Maybe the day you don’t text me while having a break and try to befriend your co workers?

In Hope‘s Peak Taka, for the first two months wasn’t even a part of the class chat. Not because his class disliked him that much but because he had clearly stated, that his number wasn’t to be given to anyone. (Togami envied him for being that smart)

It was only after the donut incident that all of class 78 literally fought him to partake in  class activities. To the point where Chihiro even hacked the poor assassins phone to find out his number.

To the class dismay, after the week they really did know how failure tasted. Like, they even had shifts to observe the coffee machine, and everytime at breakfast he would still have a cup of coffee in his Hand.

Not even Mondo would find out about the hidden coffee Machine in Kiyotaka’s room. Not even after he stayed the night for the first time.

Also this was the incident that led to him studying the urban dictionary for at least 30 Minutes a day. Beginning with the oldest memes.

So according to these conversations everyone in the class should know that Kiyotaka at least isn’t to be referred as a little meow meow right? 

False! Kiyotaka somehow always has behavior patterns that make others forget about this part of his personality. Like the closer he gets to the class the more they see that he isn’t as calm and collected as everyone seems to think. He is loud, cries when he sees cute kittens, and generally is well.. himself. 

Which is part of the reason Mondo and Takaaki are so protective of him. Even after they´ve seen him in action they do still think that he is far too emotional to possibly be an assassin. In their eyes Kiyotaka wouldn’t even hurt a fly.

Meanwhile everyone’s absolutely ignoring that Kiyotaka only became an assassin because he didn’t want his Grandfather to make his father cry anymore.

Also he literally keeps the students of Hopes Peak from making trouble. 

The ultimate cult leader wants to sacrifice another student, with the help of his followers. Kiyotaka frees the student and gives the whole cult detention. Someone of the crazy Diamonds needs a shoulder to cry on? He’s there. There are at least a hundred Knife roombas running free in Hopes peak? He has the proper protective gear for that. Jin Kirigiri gets threatened by a student? Kiyotaka’s number is on every Teachers speed dial. Something happens to Mondo and Takaaki? Kiyotaka will shoot the one responsible for that.

So everyone could at least figure out that Kiyotaka wasn’t some kind of meow meow, but instead they ignore the facts in favor of Taka’s emotionality and the fact that he’s Meme illiterate which many seem to mistake as him being naive.

With Mondo and Takaaki it’s even worse, because they know and love Kiyotaka in a way no one else does. 

Takaaki literally sees Kiyotaka as his cute little baby. In his eyes he’ll never grow up. He is very protective over Taka. The scandal in the past and Kiyotaka’s tendency to cry because of the most unexpected things just make that worse.

For Mondo Kiyotaka is absolutely a saint. Misunderstood at times, but only well meaning. Also very emotional. The fact that he is head over heels and totally whipped doesn’t make it better.

Also the fact that he acts like a Mom for everyone when they need it and it’s own set of issues(?) it brings.

In other words both of them could literally watch Kiyotaka slaughtering a room of people and still being in denial over the fact that Taka is even able to hurt someone.

Kiyotaka: *hanging a man with his own organs*

Takaaki: *to Mondo* (…) and my son wouldn’t hurt a fly, so don’t you dare to get him into your gang business!

Mondo: *agrees* Yes that would be far too dangerous for him.

Daiya: Are you serious?

Kiyotaka: *still covered in blood* *sighing*

To which the official ranted for hours that he wished that he could put him in prison. But sadly too many of Toranosuke‘s friends were somehow still active politicians. „Believe me, if i could get rid of those corrupt beasts, i would. But putting them in prison won’t work.“ the official ranted. „Well then what would work?“ Kiyotaka wanted to know. „Honestly. Probably only killing them. I would do it myself, but murdering doesn’t exactly help with a political career“ answered the politician. Now Kiyotaka had an idea „tell me your price, names and addresses, maybe if the offer is well enough i‘ll do it“.

Ultimate Assassin Kiyotaka AU Part 1

It all began when Taka, as his friends and his father call him, was 13 years old. His father struggled to pay the crushing debt of his grandfather, while taking care of him. His grandfather in turn only complained about everything. From that his room was too small to the fact that neither Takaaki or Taka could spend any time with him. 

But actually that wasn’t the problem, Kiyotaka was used to the endless complaining. What he wasn’t used to was to find his father crying about something his grandfather said. Still, here he was. Watching his father crying in the dark living room. The worst thing about it was that he couldn’t even switch the light on for him. As energy wasn’t as cheap as it used to be.

Unfortunately from this day on Kiyotaka noticed Toranosuke being mean to his father on many occasions. So in the naïvety of his youth he called a random government official, to ask why the former prime minister wasn’t in prison yet. The official began to laugh „well if that’s the case try the former prime minister himself first, but watch it. His son is still a very much feared police officer, you know? The address you have to find out yourself. But if you finish him, let’s say, within this week, i‘ll pay you twice the money Ishimaru owes to the government“.

„Deal“ Kiyotaka said and continued „but use part of the money to clear his family’s debt then“.

„Sounds quite charitable, but why?“ the official wanted to know.

Kiyotaka answered „Wouldn’t it be unfair to leave a family with a debt that they actually aren’t responsible for?“ 

Just a few days later Taka switched Toranosuke‘s actual injection with insulin. Later a government official declared Toranosuke’s debt for cancelled and officially said that the former prime minister’s family wasn’t to blame.

A week later Taka was given more names of corrupt politicians and even an secret office in the police department to prove corruption scandals when there was one and to take out the corrupt politicians. Thankfully Takaaki Ishimaru was unaware of this. Because even if he wouldn’t be mad about Toranosuke’s death, he knew how it was to stand against corrupted politicians, gang members, yakuzas, and the likes. So it was understandable that he didn’t want this life for his Taka.

Kiyotaka lived the life anyway. In the daylight he was an straight A+ Student and (according to Takaaki) the best son anyone could have. Also if one didn’t know better they would think that Kiyotaka was far too pure and naive for this world. Maybe even a little to sheltered.

But as soon as Takaaki either went to sleep or to work, Kiyotaka would step into his office through the secret entrance and work either on the paperwork for the next case, doing some research, or more often than not prepare and execute an execution.

He had few free days, but when he had one he always made sure to spend them with his father. Like Takaaki’s birthday today. The first debt free birthday of a family member in years. So of course Takaaki insisted that he would take his son to a restaurant. Not even because it was his birthday. But because they were living on a police officer’s salary now and he wanted his son to know this. 

So even if a few old friends and his ex wife had contacted him that day to congratulate him, he didn’t feel the need to invite them. They didn’t need Takaaki or Taka when they were poor, so they definitely didn’t need them now.

But before the meal arrived Kiyotaka gave his father two neatly wrapped gifts. One was a watch, a good one, Takaaki noticed and definitely not one Taka could possibly buy from the pocket money he recently got. After Takaaki asked where the watch came from, Kiyotaka said that he sometimes, when his schedule allowed it, would work for a few hours. 

Takaaki sighed and thanked Taka for the gift. Even if he spent some nights thinking about the fact that Taka was far too young to have a job. (He strongly blames Toranosuke for it.)

The second one was a spray bottle full of tear gas. It was for self defense purposes, Taka had told him. But who the fuck sold tear gas to a thirteen year old boy? Takaaki was quite sure that it was better if he didn’t know.

Three years later Kiyotaka was invited to a conference about the national safety. Well rather international safety, since the world leaders from all over the globe were present to discuss something about a girl that wants to push the whole world into despair or something like that.

At the end of said conference the world leaders asked Kiyotaka to go to Hope‘s Peak and observe what’s going on there. Even if it was far away from home, it was a deal he couldn’t possibly refuse as he: would go to the best Highschool of the world, be paid a good sum every month he went to this school and be paid an even better sum when he finished the mission.

So he was now the ultimate assassin, better known as the ultimate moral compass.

And the first few months of school were fine, really. He was just an very uptight Hallmonitor whom was not sought after unless absolutely necessary. But one day Aoi was upset because of something. To this Taka didn’t know what it was, but it was bad enough that the whole class was in her room to comfort her. 

So he looked up some information in his documents and then proceeded to curse in his thoughts because there wasn’t a single bakery in this city, that sold donuts. So he did the next best thing and looked up how to make donuts.

When he was done, knocked on Asashina‘s door and first informed his classmates that they would break the curfew within a few minutes. To which Sakura, Mondo, Junko, and even Byakuya and Kiyoko proceeded to shout at him that no one fucking cared about the curfew right now. 

After he had listened to their complaints, he put the bag of donuts in Yasuhiro‘s hand and disappeared into his room. On the bag there was a note that said that there were enough donuts for everyone in there. And the notes were right. There were even more Donuts in there than Aoi could eat on a good day. 

Which of course led to the question from where the Hallmonitor had summoned the donuts, which promptly was answered by Celeste, whom noticed that Taka had not only flour on one of his hands, but also a single drop of chocolate on his white uniform.

Of course, and to Kiyotaka’s absolute dismay, the class saw him in another light after that. So it was only a matter of sweet sweet days until they tried to integrate him in the class on every turn. Was it too much to just wanting to graduate and prevent the the destruction of the world while being at it? Probably. At least according to his classmates.

So he often found himself in very ridiculous situation in the next few weeks. From helping Junko with some of her Outfits for men, to being invited to spar with Sakura and actually being good at it. Well at least better than everyone expected from the Hall Monitor.

That whole becoming part of the class thing proved to have it‘s advantages in the end. So he bonded with Enoshima about the unfair treatment they had to endure in their past, with Ikusaba about some of their combat experiences. 

He also made less important friends as well. For example Mondo Oowada, whom was his best friend. At least until Mondo interrogated him about the rumors that he had a crush on Junko, which were obviously not true. After that Mondo kissed him and became Kiyotaka’s boyfriend. 

Six months in Taka knew he was fucked. Partly by mondo, partly by the fact that he wasn’t supposed to be the ultimate caretaker for teenagers, but the ultimate moral compass/ assassin. 

He sighed and checked the weather again. 

Then he opened the class chat:

Mom (Kiyotaka): Remember that it’s going to be hot today, so drink your water everyone!

ButterCorn (Mondo): No.

Mom: Then become the dirt i walk on.

SuckMyBasedBalls (Leon): Guys seriously, do these convos hit you that hard too? Like Taka always swings back with a new type of bat and I’m never Prepared for it.

ButterCorn: I know what you are feeling Leon

Donuts (Aoi): Yeah Taka is just like that sometimes 

FightClub (Sakura): that seems to be the case.

Closing the chat, Kiyotaka resumes to his study of the so called Urban Dictionary (he fell for updog and ligma one time too many).

It wasn’t long after that when he was on a video call with the world leaders where he explained in English: (…) and according to these proofs i do believe her to be guilty of being the ultimate despair. Therefore it should only take a few months. Maybe a year to gather enough evidence to justify a death sentence.“

When the call ended her turned around to see Mondo, whom thankfully couldn’t speak or understand a single word of the English language. 

„Hey Taka, why were ya speaking English ?“

„Oh i was on a Video call organised to promote cross cultural communication“ it by far wasn‘t Taka‘s best lie, but it was still good enough for him to not question anything. (the fact that Mondo didn’t know any politicians face helped immensely there)

All in all Taka‘s life in hopes Peak was more peaceful than he thought it would be. At least until that day when he watched the news and it said that several police officers and gang members had suddenly disappeared. So of course Taka panicked just a bit and tried to call both Mondo and his dad. Just to reach none of them.

Meanwhile Mondo, Daiya, Takaaki and several other people were imprisoned in a warehouse.

„Why the fuck are we here?“ Takaaki wanted to know.

„To become one with the despair itself“ one of the captors answered.

„Just watch it“ another one said as they took one member of the Crazy Diamonds  and put him in a brain washing device.

„No! Fuck what did you do to him?“ Daiya cried as the once gang member stepped out of the Device and proceeded to do anything the captor ordered him to do.

„And now“ another captor laughed „Drive home and kill your entire family“.

„Ya can‘t do that! screamed Mondo „he‘s a single dad of a 3 year old lil girl!“ 

Sadly the captors said that this only made it funnier. Takaaki normally wasn’t one to cry, but the mere thought to be ordered to kill his sweet innocent Taka. He couldn’t bear it. 

Suddenly the brainwashed gang member dropped to the floor. Groaning. Few gunshots later some of the captors followed. After the remaining captors each got a gun, they tried to shot down the offending shooter, only to fall over one by one. 

Before Taka went down to see how everyone was he let the next special troupe near his location know about the incident. Then he dramatically jumped down to the floor and restrained the surviving captors and the brainwashed gang member with some good old cable binder, before freeing the kidnapped gang and police members.

But as soon as everyone was freed Takaaki and Mondo ran up to Taka just about to catch him in a hug, when they notice each other. Which is how Taka’s father find out about their relationship. Luckily (not for Taka but for Mondo) Takaaki doesn’t have the time to be not impressed by Ishimondo as his baby son (soon to be 17, but baby) just has freed him and several others from a situation that Taka shouldn’t even know about.

At least the special unit arrived soon and took him away before Takaaki could ask any serious questions about his occupation. Mondo was meanwhile teased by Daiya for dating a sexy sniper.

Obviously that didn’t prevent Takaaki to terrorize to terrorize the remaining special troupe members into telling him at least half of the truth.

„So you want to tell me that my dear son deserved his title ‚ultimate moral compass‘ by helping you out solving some crimes and being his usual righteous self, so when you found out that he would go to Hope‘s Peak you thought that it was a good idea to ask him to fight against an international threat that is able to brainwash people into  whatever happened to that gang member?“ Takaaki asked after that.

The special officer was afraid to do anything. But with all their remaining courage they managed a nod.

Takaaki‘s shouting could be heard in the whole area „I CAN‘T FUCKING BELIEVE YOU!“

Mondo and Daiya meanwhile sat somewhere in the background, fearing for their lives.

After Taka came back to school he suddenly had a message from an unknown number.

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: Hello Taka, this is Daiya. Mondo‘s big bro and your current bro in Law.

Everyone‘s Mom: These are far too many words for no message.

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: Yeah, me sorry Mr Sniper! Don’t kill me pls !!!

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: let me get straight. To the point of course. Not going straight anywhere else.

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: So my lil baby bro and that scary demon officer think that you’re a poor little meow meow, that somehow accidentally stumbled into this whole saving the world business. Even after seeing you fight. Crazy, right?

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: So they now have some kind of chat group where I’m included as well and well yea ya get what I’m saying. I’ll tell you what they are planning and you do whatever with that knowledge and save the world or whatever.

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: what‘cha say?

Everyone‘s Mom: I guess i don’t have any better option than saying yes in the moment. So take it as a yes.

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: Yay!

After that Daiya opened a chat called  ‚Save the Taka‘ 

ShineBrightLikeADiamond: well after talking to him i indeed believe that he definitely accidentally stumbled into that world saving position. Poor little meow meow.
