hybrid hearts ━ chapter seven. wc. 1.4k

Things seem to settle pretty quickly after deciding that the wolf would be staying. Chan fits in with you and Hyunjin so well that it feels like he’s been with the two of you since the beginning. Now that Hyunjin has claimed you as his mate, something deep in his heart seems to have settled and he doesn’t feel as threatened by the big bad wolf. There are times when it feels like they were the ones who were actually mates. You weren’t jealous though, again, quite the opposite. You were amused at how quickly he switched up as soon as Chan had started doting on the younger Hybrid and you knew just how much Hyunjin was a glutton for attention. You would watch on with fond eyes as you’d come home from a late shift of doing admin things at the cafe just to see the two of them entwined on the couch, Hyunjin asleep while Chan quietly watched whatever drama was playing on the TV. There were times when you noticed there was something kind of heated between the two, a tension of some sort that no one was quite ready to bring up. You were not sure what was going on, but you decide that it’s a problem for future you.

Hyunjin is not the only victim of Chan’s unending charisma however. There are more times then you can count, that the wolf would have your cheeks burning red. Jihoon stares at you for just a tad bit too long, his eyes narrow and you almost falter under his gaze. When he finally looks away, you feel like you can breathe again. He doesn’t comment about it again.

Jihoon sniffs as his nose scrunches up. “Alright. Like I said, we’ll do some research,”

“We???” Junhui asks as if it’s gonna put a dent in his plans.

“Yes. We.” Jihoon stares at the taller and Junhui just puts his hands up in surrender. Despite being the shortest everyone in the room knew that Jihoon could easily kick any of their asses.

“Anyway, let’s go. We’ll check up on you.” He says in a very nonchalant tone, but you know it’s just a facade. You grin and tackle the short boy with a shit eating grin.

“AW! You do care for me Jihoon!” You squeal and he tries to throw you off of him.

“Die.”

was scrolling through svt tags and this is how i found out you write for svt now 😭 or you have always been and i never realised that. i thought your username looked familiar and went through your masterlist, i forgot i was so crazy for waiting for us back then 😭 i lost interest in skz a while back like before i went to their concert (sept 2024) 😭😭😭 and the tix was crazy expensive and after the concert i haven't consumed their contents ever since 😔 this is not a hate post btw i really adore them i just wanna share it with someone, somehow i just woke up one day and lost interest just like that and it's actually terrifying. now i cant read waiting for us anymore they're like my exes now lol but i wanna finish it so bad but ughhh just know that i loved it soooo much!! hope you have a nice day ❤️

it's actually the other way around! I actually started writing with exo (LOL) then I got into seventeen before now writing about skz. Also your feelings are totally valid! People go through phases and can fall out of love with things or like things less. While I still love and enjoy seventeen, it's definitely not the same anymore for me which is unfortunate but it's just life and human nature. It's kinda funny because apparently the skz to svt pipeline is real, i've seen people talk about how skz used to be their ults and now svt is - when it was the opposite way for me lol.
