Violet Core - High Speed Sapphic Mecha TTRPG

After a long time of working on the game on-and-off, it's finally crash landed on Kickstarter!

Violet Core is a sapphic focused ttrpg about sad space lesbians dueling each other and making out while stranded in space. Drawing inspiration from the absolutely wonderful visual novel Heaven Will Be Mine as well as GunBuster, Zone of the Enders and Knights of Sidonia. It focuses the dramatic tension between friends, rivals and comrades. It's a game whose beating heart is deeply lesbian in a way that is a touch tricky to put into words...its indelibly infused. It's a game preoccupied with a looming horizon of destruction and what we do in the face of calamity.

:'D Violet Core has less than three days left on KickStarter.

So far two of our stretch goals have been hit! the humble B-Type has been added to the game as a micro-supplement. That's them there! they look cool...but they are very prone to getting one shotted. They don't even got a violet core, they need to recharge! ugh.

and @kkdreamboat is gunna make a soundtrack for the game! The next big one is more art, with work from the talents of @oddsbod and bachelorsoft commissioned for the game if we hit it >:D

i had the pleasure of getting so sucked into this game that i played it for an hour when we were both tabling at magwest. you owe it to yourself to check this game out, it is puzzle platforming so good that to call it a puzzle platformer is to do it a grave disservice

for anyone seeking out a cute and clever puzzle metroidvania with a retro glitchy aesthetic, and a dear little babushka

Which RPG Maker is that game you're making made with? :O 👀

we're using RPG Maker MV, which is the main reason our main programmer has been able to do the wizardry he's accomplished, since MV is built on JavaScript so he can mostly do whatever... albeit after working out MV's guts first
