an unlikely friendship

Now I want Billy and Eddie as friends and they're hanging out at his when Wayne comes home. Billy gets uncomfortable, on edge because he expects him to get annoyed they're just sitting in Eddie's room blasting whatever like its not 3pm on a Wednesday. Except, Wayne just pokes his head in the bedroom, nods at Billy and asks if they can keep the noise town while he gets some sleep after his shift.

Eddie turns off the stereo instantly and says they'll go out, find somewhere else until later and Wayne tells him its alright to stay just try and be quiet to some degree. They agree on that and Wayne tells Billy he's welcome to whatever he can find in the fridge.

To put it lightly he's flabbergasted. He's never seen a parent wager with their teenager. Never thought you could. From then on he feels more than safe at the Munson trailer and even turns up there after a rough night at home knowing Wayne won't be in and even if he was he wouldn't mind Billy slipping in through the second door to spend the night on Eddie's floor.

i’m never gonna emotionally recover from this

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 4 OF STRANGER THINGS!!!

I just finished season 4 and the injustice Eddie suffered just ughhhhh broke my heart. I wanna give him a hug!!!

So! If you wanna send in happy/sweet stuff for Eddie, I’d be very appretiative!!!

The fact kid Billy charged at his dad without hesitation and paid for it. He fought back once, probably did for a while but learned not to. He eventually subdued. Just like with the Mindflayer/Vecna. He tried to fight off whatever was happening for what seems to be more than 12 hours at the least but eventually lost and when he finally broke through and cried for help, begged for forgiveness he lost yet again.

It wasn't until he was shown the slightest bit of kindness, of understanding by a child he didn't know that he finally was able to fight back again. Yet, he still lost. He stood there and saved pretty much the world in the long run (without El Vecna would win) but did so at the loss of himself and eventually almost Max.

Billy's story is a tragedy of a boy who always lost whenever he fought back. Every single time.

Ghost! Billy but he is a kid. So he is too scared to haunt Neil and is really lost because he doesn’t know Hawkins! He finds himself at a place that is really nicer than the other homes and it has a pool!!! How cool! It reminds him of his home. He likes it here.

Till a very confused and scared Steve Harrington finds him. And little ghost Billy is just as scared and confused by this.
