Nameless
Often I find a poem I scribbled on paper or inside a book…here’s one
Wash me away no more. Seal not my fate with your crooked lies.
The tales you weave will be your demise.
To the shore of disease,
to the mountainous caves of hidden dreams.
I will stand from there to here I will amass myself to engulf all that are tattered left for dead and shattered pieces of love stepped,…

Refocus Often our view of what really matters is overshadowed by distractions and low hanging branches waiting to snare us. Refocus and center your eyes on what really matters today! 👁 👁

Weekend Wisdom - Fuel Your Dreams
Weekend Wisdom - Fuel Your Dreams..Desire w/o fear fuels your dream to reality http://wp.me/p4OxR8-6X
Have you ever wanted for something that didn’t happen? In those times does it seem that no matter what you do it is just not coming? Yep…been there done that. What does it mean? In the words of Andre Maurois “If men (women) could regard the events of their own lives with more open minds, they would frequently discover that they really didn’t desire the things they failed to obtain.” Desire,…

Echo....
Poem written for the Daily Word Challenge - Echo
Can you hear me….
Calling….calling….calling
Your name out loud
I sit in the depth of the canyon
waiting for you to smile
Calling….calling…calling
Your name out loud
I sit and exclaim
The reason I sit at all
calling….calling…calling
I’m waiting and watching hoping to see your smile
As the fear inside bubbles up as a child
Yet I know I must keep the call
Calling….calling….calling
If I expect to see…

Look Who's Celebrating a Birthday Today!
Look Who’s Celebrating a Birthday Today!
“I like good strong words that mean something” said Jo March, the heroine in Little Women by Louisa May Alcott and today we celebrate this writer, poet, suffragist, abolitionist, and feminist.
Louisa May Alcott is featured on the Google Doodle today and as a writer I’m tickled to celebrate her today. I can only imagine what it was like to grow up in her time 184 years ago during the time of other…

How Was Your Day?
How Was Your Day?
Are you living your dream?
Is your career aligned to your passion?
If not, Bridge the gap.
Look for your passion in the work you do. It’s there you just need to find it.
Then when you do expand it. Make it your focus and before you know you are on your way.
Why? Because where our attention goes our energy will follow.
Dare to dream – believe.
Be a Dream Maker!

It's that time again....Weekly Wisdom. This week's wisdom comes from "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill chapter 3 about Faith. How do you define the method of attaining Faith? Most would say believe. It's more than just believing because we should work our faith to bring it to reality. So how do you do that? Working our Faith results in the desirable as well as the undesirable. The difference is our thoughts. This is why we must condition our thoughts towards our desires. Which leads me to these Wisdom Words "Anything we are exposed to for too long we begin to accept. Guard yourself" Peace and love my friends ~ KL deVille

Need a buddy?
tumblr
Buddy bench a big hit at Saskatoon’s Willowgrove School
When you don’t have anyone to play with, you go to the buddy bench at Willowgrove School.
The rules surrounding the green bench, located next to the school’s playground, are pretty simple. Within a few minutes, any student sitting on the bench will be approached by a fellow student and asked to play.
“If you can’t find your best friends, and you don’t know where to go play, you sit on the buddy bench, and somebody will come and find you,” said seven-year-old student Matthew Henkelman.
Are you like me watching this right now?
Crying at work, eating sesame sticks because you can’t wait for lunch, thinking how sweet this is and praying that the kids take it seriously?
Thinking about how weird, wonderful, and sad growing up can be and how wonderful something like this is?
Thinking why there isn’t a ‘buddy bench’ for adults? Then realizing how fast it would get corrupted?
Trying to get your collective shit together because you have a meeting in 5 minutes?
