Midorima is generally one of the most underrated characters in the terms of personality in my opinion.

Oftentimes, his whole character is reduced to his "weirdness" but I am truly fascinated that a 14/15 year old him had enough strength and spine to do how HE found things right. He was never an active part of the games GOM played during their games. He just gave his all as it was expected from him during the games. He never made fun of someone else but was rather focused on improving his own abilities. He never skipped practices even though he was allowed to because he thought it was the right thing to do.

It is very hard not to get influenced during that age, and the fact that he never was ashamed to express himself and live his life with his morals and rules is truly a thing to be proud of.

The way everyone in Seirin's starting lineup + Riko have solo appearances in the 15th anniversary exhibition goods but Izuki 🥲 I know he isn't popular but it still kinda stings because he's my fave skksksks

It looks like Kuroko no Basuke will have an exhibition coming up to celebrate the series' 15th anniversary. In the exhibition they will set up a special corner for the most fan-favorite match of the series, so if you want to see a corner dedicated to your favorite match you can vote for it via this link!

The corner will be set up for the match with most votes. Deadline is until May 19!

Pls I'm CRYING for some imayoshi hc!!! Something like latin y/n who speaks in her mother language and imayoshi dont understand anything!!

I think Imayoshi would be the type to try his best if he wants to do something and would take all the opportunity to learn new things, so I guess he'd learn the language. He might also teach her some Japanese and show her the beauty of his own mother language.

I'm not invested in nor familiar with writing headcanons that contain OCs or self-insert characters so I'm not a good place to go to in this case. A blog dedicated to said type of headcanon would surely provide a better answer than I do ^^b @ scenariosnoknb writes super great stuff.

izuki + dealing with grief/loss, first love, and future/life after hs?

Woww this one is definitely the hardest this time around. You chose the right character to strike tho

Dealing with grief/loss: I think he tries to shoulder it himself while he can. He would spend some time alone, treat himself to his favorite food or make puns. If he senses that it's too much he'll go to his close friends, most likely Hyuuga, to share the burden. Hyuuga's often a little insensitive, but he means well and knows how to make Izuki feel better.

This is a little out of topic, but while there's some angsty vibe about Izuki, strengthened by moments like him calling himself clumsy and admitting he's the weakest link among Seirin (Q188), I think he for the most part accepts that as a fact and focuses on getting stronger. He is also confident where he knows he's good (Q252). He's well aware of his abilities and limits, so I believe he knows when to reach out and not overburden himself.

First love: Probably when he was young, with a girl who would always cheer for him at mini basketball matches, he would try to confess through puns and no the girl didn't get it.

Future/Life after high school (it is high school right??): The reasonable and close to canon version: I can see him going back to Seirin as a teacher and teaches Maths, Literature or P.E. The unlikely version but is how I like to imagine it: Izuki becoming a doctor and working at the same place Midorima does

Kagami: I think he's a softie towards animals he doesn't fear/dislike. I can imagine him having a pet fish when he feels ready to take care of something other than himself.

Momoi: She loves nature and find beauty in every season of the year. Sometimes she'd take a walk around her neighborhood and randomly take pictures of the trees or the vast blue sky up above her head. Everyone in the club agrees spring is her season because her hair color looks just like the shade of blooming cherry blossom.

Kise: He isn't fond of parties he has to attend as a part of his model job, but is very lively when it comes to parties thrown by his friends. He would taste every food and drink on the menu, drag his friends into dozens of selfies and sing karaoke. Sometimes he'd even attempt to make party drinks but was never really successful.

Shun Izuki + puns

Izuki still comes up with and notes down puns well into adulthood. He makes puns about work and his coworkers. He reaches notebook vol. 200 by 27. One time Kise got invited to a TV show about puns and contacted Izuki for pointers.

midorima + sexuality

He had done research on the subject in his journey of broadening his horizons and is very chill if a friend comes out to him. He doesn't judge and doesn't change his opinion about someone based on their sexuality. He also believes people who do should mind their own business.

Kagami: He lives alone in his apartment right now, so he occasionally finds himself missing the old days where he and his father would cook and enjoy dinner together. Sometimes his father video calls him in his dinner time.

Akashi: His father was a very busy man so the family didn't go on many vacations, but when they did his mother's the one choosing the location and planning the trip. After Akashi got guided by Kuroko to the Real Friendship Life (basically after Extra Game) he and his father had been mending their relationship bit by bit. When Masaomi found time, they went to visit Shiori's favorite vacation spot together.

Izuki: The family has 3 children who get along so family game nights always get lively. Sometimes his mother would join as well. They would often hold a side competition to see who could come up with best puns while their main game's going on. Aya's the one dominating the games but her puns could never win against their mother's.
