Everyday Magick Tips for Spoonie Witches
Tumblr media
Some of us witches have very low energy levels and that makes it difficult to cast complex spells or commit to long rituals. Here is a list of things you can do from the comfort of your own home to increase magick in your life!
Make showers or baths a time of cleansing. Imagine a white light coming from the faucet and filling your body. Let the water purify your body and mind.
Use a heat pad or ice pack for bodily pain. You can make your own heating pad by filling a small sack with rice and microwaving it. You can make a quick ice pack by putting some ice in a dish towel and getting it damp.
Meditate whenever you can. If you can’t get out of bed in the morning, take that time to breathe.
Keep your crystals near your bed or couch so you can reach them easily. Breathe into them for relaxation or an energy boost.
Keep a clear quartz nearby. When you feel physical or emotional pain, breathe deeply. Inhale the white light of the quartz and exhale the pain into the quartz. Let it absorb the negativity. Be sure to cleanse it regularly.
Buy electric candles. It may be too much work to tend to a real flame. Substitute your mood lighting with electricity.
Do divination in bed. Do not worry about going through a whole ritual to read your tarot or oracle deck. Just lay the cards out next to you and interpret them while sitting or laying down.
Practice mindfulness if this is something that is comfortable to you. Mindfulness is often an uncomfortable process for people with ADHD so do not worry if it is not for you. Otherwise, be aware of the food you are eating and the air you are breathing.
Practice gratitude. Give thanks to your food, your home, your deities, and the people in your life. Increase the positivity that surrounds you.
Keep a digital book of shadows. If writing is difficult for you or if it isn’t worth getting up to get paper and pens, try digital. Use your phone or computer to write all of your witchy notes in.
Monitor your energy levels. There is physical, emotional, and spiritual energy. You should take a few moments throughout the day to check in with your energy levels and recognize what you can and can’t do. Don’t push yourself past your limits.
Create energy cords. Connect your spirit to an outside energy source like the sun or a charged crystal. Use this to boost your spiritual energy.
Use grounding techniques to deal with pain or anxiety. Bring yourself to a more peaceful reality. Focus on your breathing and your connection to the earth.

“In 2000, 31 percent of Americans thought “the use of marijuana should be made legal.” By 2010, the number was 46 percent. And in October 2020, it was 68 percent. Majorities in every age and income group now support legalization; even 48 percent of Republicans support it.”
— Marijuana decriminalization just took a big step forward in Congress

“By assaulting U.S. democracy in so many ways, Trump has shone a light on its weaknesses. We should seize this moment to strengthen our institutions. That way, if another Trump-like politician (or Trump himself in four years) tries to pervert the system again, American democracy will be better equipped to withstand it.”
— Trump shows that we need to reform U.S. democracy

stim toys and how to enchant them
Tumblr media
as a spoonie, and a dude on the autistic spectrum, i often use stim toys to reassure myself when im feeling anxious. i have several of them (including plushies, lighters, stones, and a knife) but my favorites are pacifiers. why ? because they’re so easy to find, cute asf, and super cheap.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
now as you can see on the pictures, i assigned each of the pacifier to a specific intent. my way of doing it was through lithotherapy, which is using the natural power of stones but you can get really creative with it !
a few examples of what you could do are :
👁‍🗨 praying to a specific god(dess) for each intent
👁‍🗨 working with herbs and nature
👁‍🗨 use smoke magic, like lightning an incense for each intent
👁‍🗨 work with the energy of the moon or the sun
i hope this post will be useful for other witches who uses stim toys, cause personally i really can see the difference

Ok so I've found a way to describe what Neurodivergent Can't Do Task Mode™ feels like to neurotypicals
So you know how you can't make yourself put your hand down on a hot stovetop? There's a part of your brain that stops you from doing that? That's what Neurodivergent Can't Do Task Mode™ feels like
Even if we want to do it, there's a barrier stopping us from doing it, and it's really hard to override
And why does our brain see the task as a hot stovetop? Because when neurotypicals finish a task, they get serotonin, but we don't get that satisfaction after completing a task. A neurotypical wouldn't get serotonin from putting their hand on a hot stovetop, it would just hurt. When we can't do a task, it's because our brain knows that the task will hurt (metaphorically) and wants to avoid that.
It's not that we're choosing not to do the task, it's that our brain is physically preventing us from doing it.
Neurotypicals can and should reblog but please don't add anything
(Sorry/not sorry about the random bolding, it makes it easier for us to read)

How does Brian Kemp explain his incompetence? How does he explain suppressing votes from certain counties?
