This is extremely old, but I thought Clown from Slipknot and kid Michael from the Rob Zombie remake resembled some sort of spiritual connection? Maybe in terms of the general theme of violence, or brutality.

I remember making this when I thought all the Halloween movies followed the same timeline, and solely believed more in the Rob Zombie remakes because it added a depth to Michael I hadn't considered before. That being said, I don't LOVE the remakes, just the sort of...personality they gave Michael — as well as the films where Laurie is dead. I like thinking about the fact that he could have been with a cult — specifically Thorn — and therefore, that's why he kills.
