Toriel hummed, happy to let Chara take as long as need be for her to say what she wanted.

Of course, when she did state what she wanted to know, the boss monster’s eyes lit up-- sunset hues sparkling as fanged maw curled into the widest of smiles that the human had ever seen on Toriel’s face.

“Oh, my--” she quickly caught her blunder, leaving that as a single sentence rather than finishing. “I was not aware you’d wanted to learn! I’m more than happy to teach you, Chara! We can start right now, if you wish.”
