I had to throw down some quick doodles because I love this idea. Possibly a bit too literally Bat to start, but I hope I remember to play around with this more later.

Listen, I think D&D goblins as lil bat-like folk accurately captures everything that people really like about them while avoiding some of the troubling implications.

Lives in a cave or an otherwise dim setting? Check, bats do that.

Eats beetles and things? Check, bats do that.

Big, mobile ears? Yep, bat feature.

Sharp teeth for biting? Also a bat feature!

Bats live in big groups and scientists have found they “argue” a lot. Also sounds like fantasy goblin stuff!

Bonus? FLUFFYE.

this morning's warmup is my other GW2 alt - like Frithrah, mostly just the result of playing with character creation and very little actual play otherwise. This poor guy is like 9 years old and only level 25, but he looks cool and I like him X)

So, here's Kklunk the asura ranger, and his starting pet: the marsh drake Michelangelo :B Maybe one day I'll do a world tour with him and at least flesh out his pet roster.

Figured I'd toss this up in tumblrland as well - a little teaser where we let Mirren wander around the first playable scene in our Western Deep adventure game. Part of the reason I've been quiet on here (and the main reason the comic has gone on hiatus in the meantime) is I'm pouring whatever spare work time I can into making the background/object art for this beast c:

I need to remind everyone of the pope score game.

find ur birthday (or the birthday of someone else), open the date without the year on wikipedia and calculate how many popes were born (this adds popes to your score) and how many died (this removes popes).

so like if you were born on the 2nd of Feb 1987 it'd be every 2nd of feb through history not just in 1987

trying to scrape my art drive back off the floor, please have the results of my random desire to draw a barely-used alt in his new role as master artificer (for the purpose of getting Aurene's staff for Azurah).

He's an elementalist named Frithrah Skyblaze, and was originally just made on a whim to 1) find the minimum amount of scrungly a male charr could get and 2) theme a character around Frith and see how many related names were taken (I had to give up and append a 'band name, good job GW2 community)

GW2 fishing has been my "ok the world is spinning too much; time to turn my brain off for 15-30 minutes" activity, lately.

also it's very important that everybody looks at Azurah in the fishing hat. Aesthetically she's at her best bare-headed, but as soon as I saw this dumb thing in the fishing vendor I knew she needed it specifically for fish time. So when she's not fishing, I just hide it. :]
