My start in the past was not really easy.

When I woke up and looked around I found myself in the middle of a Jungle. No one was around. And I did not even know where that forest was. When I looked in my backpack I also found out that 2 of my books went missing while I travelled.

So my first tasks were to find out where I was and to survive. I also needed to find my books. So I began to wandered around to find some hints of where I was.

Later I found out it was in the middle of the Maguuma Jungle. In my time I just was there ones while I followed the footsteps of my father. It was very exiting to survive there in my own. But I did not find my books there.

I also did not find out there which time exactly I landet in. Or where my parents were. So after some time I left Maguuma.

I needed to find my parents to change the future. And I needed a plan!

It was a big surprise when my good Friend Mirai came and told me about her new project. It was a machine for time traveling. It sounded very surreal. Like she wanted to play with the history. But on the other hand it made me very curious. It took me a while until those thoughts came. What if.

What if I could change the timeline?

Could I make things better this way?

Could I erase mistakes before they would happen?

Would the time find ways to make it happen anyways?

But my biggest question was. Would I meet my father? Still I was a bit afraid. A change of time could also change who I am. It could even delete me. Or I would become a part of the past and would never exist in the future.

It took Miria pretty long to plant the seed into my head. The seed that it was a chance to give my mother her happy ending. The happy end that she really deserved. With that I would reappear in time. And even could have siblings. I could even try to shelter her. To protect her from getting blind.

Yeah I know. Maybe I am selfish. And yeah maybe Mirai is a master manipulator. But that is how my Journey through time really began.

I was pretty surprised when I heard that Trahearne actually didn't fight Zhaitan himself.

In all those books made me believe he did fight himself. But he was more like the mastermind behind the fight.

Don't get me wrong that's pretty cool aswell. Especially since I am not a good fighter myself. And I don't have this Dream most Sylvari had. So the book about Trahearnes Wylde Hunt was pretty interesting to me. It brought me to think about what I wanted in my life.

And so before I even got to travel in time. I took my chance to travel to Orr and see for myself. I wanted to see what he has done.

But the first days alone there teached me something important. My dad was pretty strong. He survived so long in such a dangerous place. Probably even alone. For this alone he has my respect.

In my Time Trahearne was Long gone. Just a Memory. But a strong one. Everyone knows about him, His Wylde Hunt and His Victory against Zhaitan. But about bis Death too.

There is a Monument remembering him at the Hain. My Mothers even owns a big Portrait of him at Home. She Misses him so much that Sometimes she speaks to it.

There are also Books about him and His Friends.

But i believe the Most precious Belonging that remains is Caladbolg. Even its a never Version. Caladbolg Orchida. After Trahearnes Death my Mother gave everything to get Caladbolg Back. And now. I own it.

Those are all Things i ever Had known of him. I never Imagined that this would Change some day. But it did

Today i want to Talk about one of the Most important people in my life.

My Mother. She is a Norn without Family. Her Name is Alue. And she became pregnant with ne shortly before my Father died. It was a tough time for her. But she Always stayed strong. She showed me the life of Norn but also Made Sure to Bring me to the Sylvari Sometimes so i could learn about them too. The pale tree really was surprised as she learned about my existence. I was Just Happy that there were at least a few people that did Not See me as a Monster or Freak.

My Mother also made Sure i learned who Trahearne was. She wrote a book about their adventures together. I even got His old Diary so i could feel Close to him in some Kind of way. And it worked a Bit.

But aside there was another Side of my Mother that only a few people knew. Besides the strong Side there was a Side that was Loving, caring Bit also sad. Cause she lost the Love of her life. And she never came over it.

This is why i decided to Change the time for her.

Heya

Time to Tell you all a Bit More Today.

And Today i Talk about how i grew Up. I lived in a small House with my Mom. It wasn't a luxorious place. But i Loved it. Nearby was a forest where i played for hours. To get to a Village we needed to walk very Long. As Kid and even as Teenager i did Not understand why we needed to live so far away from Zivilisation. But as i got older i saw the Point.

May Mom wanted to keep me save. As i grew older i noticed that there werent people Like me. And it did not took me Long to figure Out that i was Special. But for me it was Not in a good way. Cause people judged me often. I was the weird Sylvari Kid. Some even Made theorys how i was Made.

It was Not nice. But it stopped as an adult. Cause then i looked like a normal Sylvari.

Or could you Tell that my Mom is a Norn while my Dad ist a Sylvari?

My Name ist Kodiak. And here i will Show my Journey and my Story.

But before i really Start. A Warning. My Story will have Spoilers from the Story of Guild Wars 2. So If you dont want to get spoiled you should Not follow me.

So Like i Said. My Name is Kodiak. I know i Look Like a normal Sylvari. But i am not. I did Not wake Up from the dream. I was Born. And my Mother ist a Norn. My Father was a Sylvari. But not every Sylvari. He was Trahearne. But sadly i did Not know him as he died before i was Born.

Now that i am an adult i want to find my own way. And i will so so with telling you my and my Familys Story while i visit places in the world.
