on Bluesky, we were talking about easily misinterpreted characters, and I think Denver is one of them. A lot of people (affectionately!) call him a himbo/idiot/etc but he's the most emotionally intelligent character in the story, and is constantly weighing how his actions might affect others.

He's less a golden retriever, and more a shelter dog that's been there too long.

Call for Into the Smoke GUEST EPISODES!

This is an open call for Into the Smoke guest episodes! Into the Smoke will post its last episode before hiatus on August 20 and return on October 1. Guest episode will run on Wednesdays from August 27 to September 24.

What is a guest episode? It can be...

A vertical scroll minicomic

A mobile-friendly comic page

A polished illustration

An animated gif or video

A written prose scene, with or without illustration
