Hello! I can't find information on this issue anywhere at all. What type of fabric did you use to make the form fitting cosplay of Savage The Dragon? I noticed it has scale shapes and I'm so confused. I'm looking forward to make a snake fursuit just like your work on that cosplay, I'll be happy with your response on this.

Savage the dragon was made with a scale patterned upholstery fabric.

I got this fabric from Kovi fabrics:

This fabric has a lovely scale pattern and a nice weight and durability for scalie costumes, but can be very challenging to work with if you are just starting out.

This fabric has a tendency to fray, so it requires finishing the edges with a serger or zig zag stitch to prevent it from unravelling. It also has NO stretch, so you will need to add internal padding and create darts in order to make a smooth unwrinkled looking costume while still allowing mobility.

Zander Lion
