I need your help.

I am an art student of an art academy in Italy, and I have a very serious issue with a damn cat.

I am trying to work on a project that's about a crossover with Alice through the looking glass and D&D, and I am having some issue with the cheshire cat.

I have my own idea, and I am firmly convinced on what I would like to do with my personal project, but my teacher doesn't like it very much, for some reason he didn't explain very well to me. I would like some other opinion from someone who haven't seen my works yet, so that it just can't be influenced by them, in some way.

Let's put it as a game, or a challenge, or something like that:

If there was a high fantasy Wonderland, and cheshire cat were a breed of giant cats, how would it look like in your mind? And how would his behavior be like?

Let me repeat: I have my own idea, of course, but my teacher doesn't stick very much with it. Can you help me figure out the best idea for something like this?
