i hope editblr/decorblr/rentryblr grows a backbone during this pride month and realize that clashing labels dont harm the community. what DOES harm the community is politicians taking our rights and separatism in the community

The fact people conclude that people who are neutral on discourse and debates as them being either side is absolutely ridiculous. You are allowed to not take either side — for whatever reason you concluded that you want to be neutral, you can! You shouldn't let people dictate a stance you concluded. We're people with different opinions at the end of the day and we're allowed to have different stances and still be fine with each other.
If you respect people's choices on standing neutral, then it's fine. You cannot force people to pick a side and that's perfectly normal, it's in our nature to say that we're neutral in topics.

This is completely wrong.
You can be neutral on pretty much anything — this includes discourse, INCLUDING things such endo systems. "People existing" isn't equivalent to the fact that people simply do not want to take a stance on discourse, which is fine. Discourse is exhausting, especially when it's something as massive as system discourse.
Neutral has NEVER been and will NEVER be equivalent to being pro or anti. You are simply neutral on a subject that you do not want to engage in. That's perfectly fine and you don't need to be convinced otherwise.
are you anti-endo? asking so i can choose if you're safe to follow
We will only state this once here: we choose not to engage in endo discourse. Different system members have different thoughts on the issue and at the end of the day this blog will not be discussing the matter at all. It’s up to you whether you feel safe to follow us based on this response.

Why are we using fonts again? I thought we learn this in 2020.
Fonts break screenreaders; they are not accessible. They are ugly, lazy additions to posts that not only make it harder to read, but harm visually impaired, blind, and other folks who have these disabilities. It should never be aesthetics over accessibility. You need to be accessible to all, especially as something as easy as not using fonts.
Please quit using fonts. They aren't cute, especially when they're used without accommodating those who can't see or read them at all.

I think that just being like ‘delusional/psychotic people dni’ is weird and stigmatising but it’s not wrong to avoid/block people who are actively delusional and being affirmed by people around them. if people have a delusion to a character (for example) and are actively constantly in that delusion it’s always so so very triggering to my own psychosis. you have to set boundaries for your own comfort and safety and that’s okay
I also tend to avoid anyone who uses the term ‘D/A’ as I personally don’t like the usage and coinage of the term. just don’t be weird to psychotic people and just be safe
I agree. Nothing else to add here.

I would like to add onto this, specifically talking about internet safety and blind trust.
Editblr, rentryblr, and mogaiblr have problems of not caring about internet safety. This includes blinding trusting and idolizing people who do not need to be idolized due to things they create, including treating them like gods or having double standards for them. Sometimes, when these people do call out, their supporters treat them like gods or in general treat them like gods and idolize them, no matter what. This can turn into a parasocial relationship, which is extremely toxic. People in these communities are not gods or above beings, they are on the same level as anyone and everything, despite being more popular and well-known than others.
Editblr, rentryblr, and mogaiblr have refused to take the simple steps of interstate safety time and time again, telling people personal information that can lead to dangerous situations, not thinking rationally when it comes to situations, not managing their privacy, and respecting others on the internet. We are quick to bash people who call others out on this behavior, but refuse to acknowledge that it's a problem and continue the cycles of issues. We need to do better, be better, and protect ourselves.
Hello ditizygirl nation and now for the time you have been waiting. Another long post ranting about stuff from yours truly.
Just like last time, most stuff will be under cut. Read if you want you don't have to but I would prefer if you did. (If you saw tumblr post when it was posted earlier no you didn't)
Double Standards
Now how I see it, there's alot of double standards. Alot of people seem different ways they view themselves, their friends and other people on editblr and it's sister communities.
People have no problem shit talking people about things they do or may say but the minute their friends do something similar or the same thing.
When I made my first post here it was so interesting to see how people would act as if I'm the devil and completely not trying to understand what I'm saying and then go and act like they're so innocent was a bit funny. Like comply then complain.
Another thing I've seen that does along with this issue is how cliquey everyone can be.
The Cliques
Everyone likes their friends right? And everyone likes to defend their friends?
People here often suffer from blind faith and trust, and considering how easy it is to easily hide behind a persona on here I think people don't realize how easy it is to be manipulated.
Blind trust can lead to many things, most common here being defending a less than favourable person simply because they consider them a "friend" when they were never truly a friend and simply an acquittance
Know I don't want to trigger any paranoid but I do think people forget this also falls under Internet safety
This is all I have for now on this topic but I have another long post in the works

Some of yall need to hear the statement: "If you wouldn't want it said on the news don't write it down"
Take that statement with a grain of salt, obviously, but still
Also, some of you guys are the biggest assholes and refuse to acknowledge it. Whether you realize it or are told about it, you just won't acknowledge it.
Sincerely, 🦄
I agree.

I'm so sick of the policing that goes on not; not just identity policing, but also the whole idea of "if your X you're a horrible person and should die" [I've literally seen this on someone's rentry]. It genuinely scares me
It's crazy that online communities are so divided and horrible to eachother. The whole being "pro" vs "anti" debates (on just about anything; I mean like, systems, fiction, certain labels) boggle my mind; and maybe this is because I'm hyper empathetic but I genuinely cannot just pick a side on any of these things; they're pushing everything into black and white, a binary that the queer community once fought against. There's too much nuance, too much gray area to lump everything into either "A" or "B," yknow?
It makes me so sad. Outside the internet, things - generally - aren't like that. There's always been outliers, sure, haters and trolls and shit stirrers (4chan, for example) have always been here too, but they weren't the majority, they didn't have as much of a platform as they do now. What happened to understoodjng that a) everyone's entitled to their own opinions, even if we don't agree, and b) we're all freaks in the eyes of the majority anyway.
There will always be problematic things, there always has been, and while it's good to draw attention to these things, it's far less good when you start throwing members of your own communities under the metapborical bus for so called "crimes" that are really just a matter of differing opinion.
It just makes me so sad and so scared. It shouldn't be this way. Why have we let it become this way?
There will always be two sides to everything, no matter what it is. It can be simple, political, ethical, etc. There will be two sides because people form those sides, when a lot of these things can be agreed upon. This is how everything has been and it's been a massive issue, especially online, because it creates unnecessary discourse.

i firmly believe that if you refer to people as "spineless cowards" for being friends with someone who has a slightly differing opinion, you deserve to be ignored by literally everyone in mogaiblr
seriously, theres been a lacking in "if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all", didnt we all learn this before? especially dont resort to namecalling.
I agree. Especially with the last paragraph. Nothing else to say here.

Identity. Police. Drives. Me. Insane.
“you can't identify this if you're [X THING]”
“if you use [Y LABEL] as a [Z PERSON] you are [5000040393 insults]”
“Hey by the way [A GROUP OF PEOPLE] aren't valid btw. That's because I say so (and don't care about your opinion, thoughts, or feelings) and it doesn't align with my ideology.”
In conclusion, shut the fuck up and let people identify with harmless labels.
I. HATE. IDENTITY. POLICE.
They drive me insane. "You can't be [x] because you have [y]." Oh my god!! Please shut the fuck up!
Korofessions breaks character because I hate gender police.

I don’t specific the origins of names in my bots since I think it’s good practice to research the names you want to use and I want to be inclusive of all cultures, is this a bad thing? should I be specifying origins? I always kind of felt it’s on the user to see a name they like and take it upon themselves to do the right research
That's up to the user. Personally if I made NPTs, I would use all open names unless stated otherwise from the requester or myself.

tbh, i feel like adding "exclusive names" is fine bcuz like.. its your (the person using the name) responsibly to look up the names you wanna use. its important to.
and exclusive names is kinda a misleading title in some ways, since its not exclusive to someone of that culture ya know. (i think thats worded weirdly, i mean someone of that culture can use the name.)
I definitely agree, but I was just theorizing why people would dislike NPTS. Other than that, I think it's fine.
