Unshatter was written in response to a prompt for the Satosugu Cliché Tropes Fest with the primary tropes being "only one bed" and "huddling for warmth", but we also have angst and arguments and a touch-starved Gojo who desperately misses Geto

Gojo crashes Geto's mission, but Geto's not happy to see him. The two end up having to share the one futon in an unheated room, where Geto wonders what's the point of continuing to protect people and Gojo realizes with growing horror just how much he's changed

The full prompt was "The motel room they rented after a mission in the middle of nowhere doesn't have a heating system or extra blankets so they have to cuddle for warmth (and maybe there's also only one bed.)". Originally, I'd planned to write something super silly and fluffy, but nothing was clicking, so I went in the opposite direction instead. I've always wondered how things might've played out between Gojo and Geto if they'd talked a little more about their shared trauma in the aftermath of Riko's death, so this fic was me playing around with that idea

The working title for this fic was "Love Love Love" after a Monsters and Men song that's on my personal STSG playlist because it's totally SatoSugu-coded, but it didn't feel right as a title. Neither did Linkin Park's "Over Each Other", another song that's on my playlist. I settled on "Unshatter", a song that fits purely on vibes as opposed to lyrics. Plus, in essence, Gojo is trying to unshatter Geto once he realizes how broken he is

I originally had two chapters planned for this fic. The first one would've been present day Gojo and Geto accompanying their students on a mission and, through a series of misadventures, they end up having to stay at the same minshuku (a sort of bed and breakfast typically found in more rural areas) where they'd once stayed ten years ago. From there, they would've reminisced about what happened the last time they were there. I ended up cutting that whole chapter out and reworking the fic because the present day scene just wasn't working for me

I love fics with touch-starved Gojo, but this was my first time taking a stab at that concept. I meant to explore it a little more because how strange would it be to suddenly have nothing touch you, even nature, and I wanted Geto to point out that Gojo's using his cursed technique as a way to avoid being vulnerable, but instead, I made them make out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Clumsy (With Your Heart) is the second fic I wrote for Satosugu Cliché Tropes Fest and I had such fun writing it! There's a contrived fake dating scheme, a really awkward double-date at Tokyo Disneyland, and Gojo and Geto being so stupid about their feelings that their friends just have to do something about it. There's also bonus ShokoHime and you don't even have to squint, it's really there! \(^ヮ^)/

The full prompt was "Satoru and Suguru are incredibly obvious about their feelings for each other - to anyone but each other. Their very smart, thoughtful, mature friends decide that the best way to address the situation is for someone to pretend to have feelings for Satoru, and another someone to pretend to have feelings for Suguru, to make them jealous." When I read that, I knew I had to claim it ASAP

I've written other STSG fics, but they've all been on the angsty side, so this was a really fun opportunity to write them as stupid kids in love without the canon baggage

The working title was "Butter-Fly" after the Kouji Wada song because vibes, but I changed it to the current title because it fit a little better thematically. And yes, it's from the All Time Low song "Clumsy"

The title probably should've been Everyone Runs Away From Their Feelings since there's an absurd amount of running away in this fic ┐(︶▽︶)┌

Originally, Utahime was supposed to fake date Gojo and Nanami was supposed to fake date Geto, but I couldn't figure out how to get Utahime to pretend she likes Gojo when she clearly can't stand him. My friend was the one who suggested I switch things around and she was totally right because it worked so much better that way

I didn't set out to write ShokoHime, but the more I wrote, the more invested I became in a possible relationship between the two. I debated on whether or not I should devote a chapter to them since Gojo and Geto were supposed to be the main focus of the fic, but I really liked the scene where Shoko runs after Utahime and couldn't bear to cut it out, so it made it in. I really want to write a sequel with just the two of them ( ◡‿◡ )♡

Mei Mei was a really fun character to write. She's such a troll, but she really was trying to be helpful in her own way. I meant to include Ijichi too, but couldn't figure out how to write him (sorry, Ijichi!)

This fic was pure self-indulgence for me, especially chapter three. I really loved writing them being stupid and super jealous while being so incredibly oblivious (๑>◡<๑)

I had some trouble with how to name everybody. (^_^); In my previous JJK fics, it just made sense to refer to Gojo and Geto by their first names because the narration was limited to their POV, but this one had viewpoints from everybody and I had moments where I was like, "Wait, should I still write 'Satoru' if this bit's from Utahime's POV? Should I change it? Or should the narrative call everyone by their first names?". In the end, only Nanami and Haibara are referred by their last names for reasons ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm super invested in the premise of this fic. Gojo's been afflicted by a curse, so he goes and finds Geto, but the curse has given him amnesia and he doesn't remember that Geto defected. Nanako and Mimiko are hilariously adorable in this and I just love how Gojo barges on on their outing without knowing that his presence has sent Geto into a bit of a panic. Can't wait for the next chapter! (*^‿^*)
