This film, also, is my first documentary. It was filmed in August of 1999, and premiered in July of 2002.

I want to share my gratitude and admiration of  @mikehuckaby313 with you.  Our friendship spans from the 80s; however, it's over the last decade with " God Said Give'em Drum Machines" (a phrase I took from an interview we did in 2011) that we really began to communicate on a more frequent basis. I can't thank him enough for belief in the project; and, most importantly, sharing those words with me. They fueled me and inspired me to search the globe for the Detroit Sound in modern dance music. Who knew those words will end up living on forever through the film that we're seeing to the finish line as we speak.
Thanks to @reggiedokes for the words. He and I had been trying to put this together before Huck's passing as a get well greeting card. Thanks to everyone who help make this happen:
