Did she ever love me?

It had only been a few minutes since he had spotted you at the statue with another guy. The smile you gave the man was still flashing in his mind like a broken projector image, despite your back being turned as you faced away. How long had it been since you had smiled at him like that? It was months ago, yet it felt even longer.

He missed you. He missed being the one to pick you up at the statue, he missed being the one to receive your smiles, and even more so he missed being the reason behind them.

What he didn't know at this moment was that the guy you had greeted with a smile was actually your cousin visiting you. You had invited him to the easiest landmark you could have thought of, and it had been the statue you used to set as a meeting place for your dates with Namjoon. The place was still special to you, and all the good memories it led to.

Jin:

That was me not too long ago...

He didn't know when he had pulled over to the side of the road. All he could do was watch you enter the cafe with the other man. He watched as the guy opened the door for you, his hands tightened on his steering wheel as he watched you two walk into the building. There were far too many emotions he was trying to process.

Anger. Frustration. Regret. Jealousy.

Before he could calm down he was already out of the car and racing towards the cafe. He stopped in front of the windows, looking in. He watched as you were ordering what you always ordered. He didn't even need to see you pointing to the menu. He knew what you would order. It's what you always ordered. The rose and honey latte you loved so much.

Although he didn't know you were just out with a colleague, the way the other man was making you smile and how at ease you appeared was making his head spin. You hadn't chosen this place, but it was the closest to where the two of you worked and you found it hard to refuse. Besides, it was just a few moments of discussing the assignment you two were working on together. You could manage a few moments in this place, couldn't you?

Suga:

Was I that easy to forget?

He had left the food untouched on the table and he couldn't focus. He couldn't wrap his head around what he had just seen. He sat motionless, staring at the doorway before he willed his body to move. Letting his instincts lead him out the door, past the staff and through the hallways trying to catch a glimpse of you again. He stopped at the corner, peering over the edge when he heard your laughter. You were smiling so brightly, your laughter resonating through the hall and in his chest. His throat felt dry and his chest tightened as he saw your interactions with the man beside you.

For you, however, this was simply work. You were being kind to the new co-MC for the music show and helping relieve his nerves by being as encouraging and optimistic as you could. It was hard for you to be okay on your own so this distraction was something you needed as well.

J-Hope:

Can't she even see me anymore?

He hated seeing you so focused on someone else. He was up on this stage and as much as he regretted stepping on it he dreaded stepping off it even more. If things had been like before he would be able to share this happy moment with you after the ceremony. But instead of happiness, he was feeling bitter. He wanted to take the mic and confess how much he missed you. But he couldn't and he hated it. He hated it all so much. He felt so helpless, so hopeless it was like the cheering had deafened him and his heart to silence. All he could feel was the numbness creeping over him. If people could see his heart right now it would be so damaged that the tears that slipped out wouldn’t be mistaken for tears of joy like they were at the moment.

You were still talking with the guy seated near you, but it was simply to ask for the earring that had fallen off and rolled underneath his chair. You had wanted to be discreet about it so as not to draw attention away from the award acceptance speech, but it appeared as if you two were sharing a special moment while whispering together.

Jimin:

So it all meant nothing?

The broken bracelet left an imprint in his hand as he eased it out of the fist he had made. He had squeezed it so hard, his skin was red and stung slightly as he traced the imprint and the bracelet. But it stung a lot less than his heart or the tears threatening to spill from the corners of his eyes. He shut them tightly and shook his head to clear his thoughts before looking over his shoulder. He could still hear your laughter, although it was faint and distant. Just how you were now. So distant from him. His chest ached and he managed only a few steps towards his waiting room before he leaned against the wall, sliding to the ground and staring at the bracelet dangling from his fingers. It had been his first gift to you, and the memories that it brought back were suffocating him.

But he didn't know that the man was just a manager. That the bracelet hadn't been discarded carelessly but had broken and you hadn't noticed yet. If you had, you would have been desperately looking for it because you had kept wearing it despite everything. Because despite everything your memories with him and the bracelet meant everything to you.

V:

Was I that easy to replace?

His heart felt incredibly heavy in his chest and his eyes could no longer blink away the tears. He found himself walking past the corner convenience store and towards the park at the back of the building. He settled down into one of the swings, his broken voice as he called out your name was the only sound followed by his soft cries in the still night air.

However, you had been dropped off by a colleague's associate because your manager had to run back to the office to turn in some papers. You had been as polite as you could, continuously thanking the kind man for offering to drive you back home despite it being so late before heading back to his girlfriend. During the car ride his call to his girlfriend had given you nostalgia because it reminded you of how Taehyung would call you, either to make sure you were getting home safely when you were heading back on your own or to ask you out for the secret meetings consisting of ice cream and swinging at the park behind your building.

Jungkook:

That's rough y/n...

He looked away from the guy blocking his view of you but he couldn't help peeking every now and then. You were smiling, listening to him intently as he spoke to you. You handed over something to him and the guy gave a happy jump and waved as he walked away a few moments later. He watched your eyes linger, a warm smile on your face. It was one you often had when you were around him and he wondered what the other man had said to make you smile in such a way he thought only he could.

You had turned at the sound of your name, although you could have sworn you heard it twice. Once softly, and a second time far louder. You had turned just in time to see a fellow labelmate walk up to you to ask if you had an extra company banner to wave because his group was one short. You handed him yours and said it was alright for him to take it. It was just like you to be selfless, and despite not having any extras around you didn't hesitate to give yours up so that a friend would be happy. It was something Jungkook used to tease you about often, but behind the teasing, there was a fondness in his voice that always left you with an even warmer feeling than the actual selfless act itself.

I think I give more life updates than I do actual reaction posts. That’s about to change. I really mean it this time.

I had to take a break because someone close to me passed away and I needed time to adjust.

On a side note, the K-Entertainment world is kinda crazy this past year! In both good and bad (okay more bad ways than good) ways. I haven’t really caught up on it all, but I will eventually and make adjustments accordingly.

However, I am getting back on track now. I’m trying hard! I’ll continue to work hard, so thank you for your support!

So, we’re back?

I’m just writing this more so for myself, but also because I feel it’s fair enough to let everyone who’s been giving me all this love and support on my blog and for my work an update!

Recently I went through a bit of a low point in my life, and I just want to say that it’s okay. Low points come, so do high points. It’s life. We’re all going through things, we’re all growing as we go.

During the hard times, I’d want to write but just couldn’t bring myself to. Even though I missed it so much, I just couldn’t come up with anything. At first, I assumed it was just a writer's block or that I was lazy, but it was more than that and it was only after realising that I had more things to work through internally that I was able to come to terms with the fact that I needed to work through everything in my life that was stressing me. And so the healing began. Or the process towards healing at least. And to be completely honest, it’s still something I’m working on and will probably continue working on.

I had always considered myself to have a fairly good grasp on my emotions, and be more attuned to my mind and reflect on my mental and emotional states openly and work through everything in my life with a very adaptable attitude. But I’m not perfect, and I’m not someone who can keep running through everything with optimism. I realised the biggest flaw in me was that I was always so set on saying��“everything is okay,” or “everything will be ok,” that over time I had grown immune to the sayings entirely. It’s hard to put in words, but it was like I had forced myself into the default to be ‘happy’, to be ‘okay’, to ‘push through things quickly’, and failed to recognize that it’s not the case. That sometimes I need more than just a day or two to be sad, to not be okay, and to take my time with understanding and not just recognizing my emotions and thoughts. It’s one thing to know myself, it’s another thing to understand.

So, I’m still trying to understand myself as I’m sure many of you are. It’s a lifelong journey, as cliché as it sounds. But realising the things that I’ve realised, I’ve been able to get back into life with a new perspective and I feel ready to be active with this blog again. It’s something I’m very proud of and it gives me the outlet I need.

So, once again, we’re back! 

I hope you’re all happy and healthy! Stay safe! 

Stay you, stay very unapologetically you. Even if ‘you’ changes. Because ‘you’ will always still be you in essence, it just might be another version of you as life progresses.

GOT7 REACT: To losing their significant other in a crowd

JB: He’s usually really good at keeping together, especially when it’s crowded. But he would get so caught up in sightseeing that he would lose track of checking to make sure both of you were keeping pace with each other. After realising you had lost him in the midst of a fast-paced crowd you would stay in the same spot until he eventually finds his way back to you.

“I didn’t even realise, I’m sorry y/n I thought you were behind me the whole time, I turned around and this grandmother was staring at me as if I were crazy because I kept talking to her like it was you,”

Mark: If you two got separated in a crowded place it would probably be because he got distracted by food (or you did, both actually because I mean food). He would be a bit more aware that he had lost you though, and probably a bit smarter and call you to ask where you were even though it would probably still be super hard to find each other because of how crowded it was. In the end, you’d have to meet at the highest point because it was easiest.

“Sorry, y/n, you must have been worried on your own, but I did save you some food,” 

In which case, all is forgiven because again: food.

Jackson: You know, you might think that there would be a loud, bellowing voice calling for you once he sees that you’re missing from his side. Which, honestly would be more helpful.

“Y/N!!!!”

But let’s be real, he’ll probably be completely lost himself and you being lost too would make him twice as confused while he tries to search for you amongst the hundreds of people moving around him.

Y/n was right here a second ago...?

Jinyoung: He probably wouldn’t be the one to get distracted and lose you, so it would most likely be you getting distracted and separating from him in the rush. But he would genuinely feel bad about losing you in the crowd. Like he would actually be really worried. Like really, he really does feel awful for letting you wander around amongst so many strangers on your own because he had reminded himself to be more careful due to the place being more crowded. So when you finally find each other, it’ll be a real surprise that he doesn’t have some sassy remark about how irresponsible you were for leaving his side.

I should buy y/n some ice-cream to make her feel better...

Youngjae: Sunshine would have had a wild run looking for you everywhere after he realised you disappeared from beside him. When he finally finds you right where you two had last been together he’d be relieved but also breathless.

“I’ve been running around for twenty minutes, I can’t believe I didn’t check here first,”

BamBam: Let’s be honest with each other, there’s no way you would get lost in the crowd before he gets lost. Trust, you’ll find him at the lost kiddy centre. On your right, near the slinkies.

“What took you so long, y/n? I’ve been having a blast with these.”

Yugyeom: He would probably lose you real fast in the crowd, he’d be so preoccupied with looking around he wouldn’t even notice you were gone until you eventually found your way back to him after which he would try to make lame excuses to act like he wasn’t to blame for you two getting separated.

“Y/n, I can explain, the lady was offering free sampl-”

BTS REACT: To their best friend coming out to her parents but they rejected her

*NOTE*: I know for some people this is a touchy subject, and please know that I have no intentions of offending anyone and if I did I am so sorry.

RM: I feel as if he would be one of the ones to want to discuss this further. He would let you stay at his place for as long as you needed, and he would play the role of mediator between you and your parents. He’d appeal to them on your behalf but if they really rejected you completely, he would turn all his efforts towards helping you move on with your life.

“Be proud of who you are y/n, that’s all that matters.”

Jin: He would probably be really angry when he found out the reason you were crying and left to fend for yourself, was because your parents had rejected you. He knew how hard it was for you and although he wanted to march over and tell them how unfair they were being he knew it was more important to calm you down and let you know that there were still people who loved you and would support you.

“First, have some water y/n, are you hungry? Don’t worry about anything right now, just calm down, things will get better,”

Suga: He’s usually quiet when he’s listening to you, and so when you showed up with a teary face and began to tell him everything that happened he would listen quietly although he would probably be fuming on the inside. He wasn’t really surprised that your parents would act this way, but he was disappointed that they hadn’t thought about how wrong they were and tried to understand you. After he had let you say everything you needed to he would speak his mind, letting you know that you weren’t wrong and that he would be there to help you.

“As long as you’re happy, screw what others think. If they’re blinded right now by their emotions, just give it time. If they still don’t see that they’re wrong and that you’re still the same daughter they’ve always loved, then it’s their loss because they aren’t even trying to understand you.”

J-Hope: He would be worried when you show up crying and it would be hard for him to hide how upset he was that your parents would turn you away like that. He probably wouldn’t know what to say to you right away, but he would make an effort to be a bridge between your parents and you.

“For now y/n, just stay with me, we’ll talk with them together next time, I’m sure they’ll come around,”

V: When you called him, crying on the phone, trying to explain the situation in a blubbering mess as you stood outside his place he would have a hard time controlling himself. He was usually extremely respectful and caring towards your parents, but their rejection of you would really put him over the edge and he wouldn’t waste any time in facing them. He was your best friend and if he didn’t stick up for you who else would? He’d take you back that very day and make sure he voiced his thoughts on how unfair and unloving they were behaving.

“As parents, I respect you, but how can you just abandon your own child like that?”

Jimin: When you showed up at his door in tears and explained what happened he would drag you to your parents’ house. As your best friend, he felt it was his duty to confront your parents. He would be really mad, but he knew he couldn’t be disrespectful towards them and so he’d try his best to reign in his anger and talk with them.

“She’s your daughter, you birthed her and raised her so why are you rejecting the person that she is?”

Jungkook: He wasn’t expecting you to show up crying, you had sounded so confident and sure of yourself when you had told him you were going to tell your parents. Seeing you cry would make him tear up, and it hurt to see you hurting. He would try to calm you down, letting you know you weren’t alone and that you still had him as your best friend and he would always be there for you.

“I’m here y/n, you still have me,”

Recently someone sent in a message saying that they had found a blog that has a very similar reaction to one of the scenarios I had posted. Now, yes I would definitely be upset if the person had copied me exactly and I’m thankful that others are bringing things to light, but I’m also going to go ahead and say that if it’s a certain reaction scenario and not really the entire reaction response that is the same I’m not really upset with that. I don’t own the reaction scenario ideas, and 95% of those have all been from all of you! (So thank you for the creative requests!)

Basically, what I’m trying to say is, I’m not holding people accountable for using ideas as I’m positive many of the scenarios on my blog are most definitely not 100% unique to this blog. But I also want to thank the person that was worried and upset on my behalf, it means a lot that you cared enough to bring it up!
