Back on that upward climb, mostly doing practice doodles to get my hand used to drawing again, with some pixelart on the side for fun. That means it's Rosigma time again! I've left SO MUCH stuff on the workshop floor which, uh, I kinda promised to deliver to the lads MONTHS ago.

So naturally, I ain't doin' none of that, and instead making new felinid sprites!

The felinid troops already in-game have a frankly overwhelming amount of variations - jump armors, Harakoni patterns, some specialist/assassin suits... it's gonna be a binch. But that's nothing compared to what the poor guys having to implement them will go through, because I'm using a layering system that will absolutely NOT allow them to just overwrite the current sprites, LMAOooo

Thank you for saying so, I'm happy you like it! This is probably a pretty boring answer, but I went to an art school (and a half). Then again, I had unmedicated ADHD, so there's an argument to be made I haven't picked up jack there! 😎

Fell down the depression hole and paper is now sPoOpY again, so I'm trying to crawl back to drawing the way I did last time, since that worked wonders. Not all that sure what it's good for, but I do manage to give it proper time and attention, which is an improvement over just lying around feeling bad for myself. Welp!

Largely finished with Steel Legion, but far be it from me to actually wrap something up and put a bow on it, nope! Started doing Krieg and opted for the blue color scheme, partly because OpenXcom has shite selection of greens, partly because it makes them look more French/less German, which has some people acting funny.

For the most part, it was just keeping me occupied and my mind off things, but there did rise a challenge; my BRILLIANT alternate sprites for 2x2 tile bolter units didn't actually adhere to the bounds by which the game uploads images. Sure looked like I'd have to scrap them, but that would break my freaking heart, so instead I went and broke them and voilá! I DID IT!

Huge thanks to Filip H for introducing me to a tool that dumbs down sprite-sheet cutting to a level even I can't mess up!

Meanwhile, Steel Legion has received a variety of Sentinels, new skins for mechanized units and unique heavy weapons teams. What remains is to do SL-unique Squats and Ratlings, and probably some CODEX arts to go with some of the items. Oh, and Orc Hunters! Mustn't forget the Orc Hunters.

In case it needs to be said, I can't code for jack, so none of this would be any good if not for the hard work of Leflair, Surrealistik and others of the Rosigma community who jumped on this without even needing to be asked. Thank you guys!

Hello, and thanks for reaching out! : ) I'm always game for SS13 pics, especially those with no urgency, ha - only I have no actual experience with Polaris, so you might have to explain some things to me like I'm five! Yep, still operating by that price sheet. Just the sprite and flavortext are fine, though if you have more resources for your characters, all the better. Cheers, and have a good one!

🚨CAPTAIN IS COMDOM🚨 Been a while since any Aurora Station piece! This one has been commissioned by Sue and commemorates the titular Ana's and Iliasz's adventures during the Ghosts of War arc. Vaguely related note, but while nobody was looking, Aurora Station developed the single best iteration of space flying in any video game, ever.
