Thanks @theizzeh for this cool slo mo video of a windmill fall during one of our NAUTICA shows tonight. I play the embodiment of a storm and not one of the particular nice friendly versions of a storm. The people involved in this show are not only my friends and co workers but they are kindred spirits as well. This show has meant so much to me as we have all rested more than a show about the sea. It's about what it is to be alive and what it is to be human. Everyone will be able to find something to relate to in one of the characters, which feels great. (at Halifax Circus)

IT TAKES A VILLAGE!! I am overcome with love and appreciation for the entire cast and crew of NAUTICA: a circus sea journey. Not only am I working on a great story with talented visionaries and acrobats but we all work together to help out the children of the team. Bringing my daughter to rehearsal, I never have to worry about guilt either way because of the support of my community. Here Imogen is "helping" Jen fill in some cracks in the stage after the rehearsal was over. But during rehearsal she played with the directors son, made up dances that went along with my silks scene - just offstage and she even flew around and made up her own stories on a silk hung offstage that I set up for her. Circusing is hard. Parenting is even harder. Thank yous and unending gratitude to my beautiful friends and community for making it easier. Xo
