This short comic has no real story, I just wanted to draw something sweet ... uwu But it is not explicit.

Here is a bit background.

This Rook is a Mourn Watch mage and also that kind of necromancer, people don't trust. And not only because he is a bit sassy. He's used to being alone, because he even creeps the other Mourn Watchers. He talks to spirits around him, even tho there are non. And yes, he sounds a little fanatic when he does that … speaking with himself, wandering around in his dark laboratory… So he plays with seen as creepy. Also, people think he is just a young brat, and so they don't take him seriously, thanks to his feminine features - he hated his face for that for a long time. Imagen being in your 30th and people still think, you are a child. (I mean, I have to deal with that all day long …)

But yeah… he also has waaaaay too much fun with a bone saw. Boy, please. Don't laugh like that, while you work on the dead … His creations are … creative, you could say. He is more of a necro-artist, designing the dead like they saw themselves. And well, that IS a bit creepy. Even as a Mourn Watcher. Did his eyes glow while cutting that man in half? Is that a normal smile or a "run as fast as you can" smile?

Only Varric was able to ground that "kid" and so Rook stopped being brassy (okay, not fully). And he also stopped beeing creepy on purpose (okay, not all the time).

And then he met Emmrich. Someone he only heard of - and from only hearing, actually disliked. A perfect image of a Mourn Watcher, he would never full fill. But this kind man … he never judged Rook, not even for a second. Flirting with him was a joke until Rook saw Emmrichs reaction. That look on his face. There was a hint of curiosity - a chance - a spark … So Rook got hooked thanks to his big mouth.

Sadly no. QAQ But you could ask a publishing house, that you really want it ... and maybe that will help me geta a contract for a translation. 👀

👀 Es gibt ja schon ein Hörbuch zum Buch, doch dem fehlen die überarbeiteten Teile. Was nicht so schlimm ist. Lediglich der Anfang vom Buch unterscheidet sich stark - und diesen lese ich euch als kleinen Teaser vor.

Das Buch

Die Drachen brachten die Magie und teilten sie mit den Menschen. Doch nicht alle waren der Meinung, dass die Menschen sich dieser Macht würdig zeigten. Tausende Jahre später ist die Welt All’Ein durch die zurückliegenden Kriege um die Vorherrschaft wie zerbrochen. Eine tiefe Kluft spaltet nicht nur den Kontinent, sondern auch die Beziehungen zwischen den Drachen und Menschen.

Auf dem jungen Zauberer Jasov lastet eine schreckliche Schuld und seine einzige Chance, Buße zu tun, ist, sich dem Reich zu verschwören und einem Altdrachen zu dienen. Er hofft, dort zu lernen, wie er mit den unbändigen Zauberkräften, die ihm innewohnen, umgehen kann. Doch Jasovs bloßes Talent ist der letzte Beweis, den der Drachenherrscher Dragul noch gebraucht hat: Erst gestörte Magie an den Grenzen, dann verschwundene Spione und nun ein Zauberer, der zu viel Macht besitzt. Die Balance der Magie hat sich verändert. Die Reiche sind den Waffenstillstand leid. Das Wettrüsten hat längst begonnen. Dragul muss handeln. Und das führt auch Jasov mitten hinein in den Konflikt zwischen Menschen und Drachen, Intrigen, Verrat und Liebe. Welche Seite wird sein Herrscher wählen? Uh what's that? These are all character and NPCs I designed for my first tabletop roleplay one-shot as a game master. My GM had his twitch anniversary, and so I created a rulebook and a story for him.

We had so much fun. I designed maps with Dungeoncraft and also animated every character as a PNG tube avatar, so they were moving, while I was talking. I think, I'm addicted now.

Well… sorry, but my new vampire crime novel doesn't have any spice, it is really just a bloody vampire werewolf witch undead mess. But today is release AND Valentine's Day, so I thought, I will give you some smashy content. And well, sometimes vampire and werewolf give each other "the look" so… 👁👄👁💦

The novel is in German, so sorry for all the vampire novel suckers outside of my country. :X

Tried something old with something new. I love my sketch comic art style but never had a way to colorize it. Limited my shading, added grain, and also used photo backgrounds. Love it. Needs a little bit more practice, but I think I am on a good way.

Aber ich wollte fragen, welches Grafiktablett du zum zeichnen benutzt?

Ich wollte mich demnächst nämlich nach einem neuen umschauen, aber kenne mich leider nicht ganz so gut aus.

Ich benutze kein Grafik Tablet. Ich hab ein Cintiq Pendisplay mit Touch zum Arbeiten. Die Dinger sind super, kosten aber auch nen Kleinwagen XD
