mmmmmmmmmm theres probably so much to fix here but i Really REALLY just want it to be done. another behemoth comic and as always its not a very fun one. here we see the most volatile her relationship with flowers ever got, peaking in an act of violence on flowers' end

it was. straining, to say the least, to draw her hurting so badly so this one took a long time to work on. i had to take multiple breaks, haha. i hope you guys can get some enjoyment out of it anyways????? atleast we can all be happy knowing that this is it for her having to deal with him! (until later when rivers happens but weve got a couple hundred years its fine)

The best drawing advice I can give to anyone who wants to improve quickly is to use cheap notepad paper and ballpoint pens. I know it's tempting to buy the cool fancy supplies but then you'll feel pressured to not waste them. Use garbage materials and burn through them with zero thought. Only use pen because it forces you to commit and stops you from second guessing your lines and redrawing them over and over. Learn how to use your mistakes and then learn how to get it right the first time. I took numerous art classes and nothing taught me more than buying a big pack of Bics and legal pads and sketching anything that came to mind without hesitation. Fill a few pages everyday with the first thing that comes to mind. Don't rip out pages you don't like, just flip to the next page and try again. Watch yourself improve. If you really want to be a good artist, you need to learn how to draw from the ground up without relying on quality materials.

ok so this started because, the thing about dusthides is that they have a very cool thing going on with their wing, where the secondary is only visible on the underside of the wing and not the top. unfortunately, only one pose (F) shows this off at all, so I wondered if the M pose could be altered to show the back wing to emphasize that trait. and also i thought it would be cool if the secondary was also on the underside of the plating, which i then had to add more of, and then also i had to draw the F pose to see if i could reposition the tail to show off THAT attribute. and then since i was drawing them ANYWAY i just redesigned some other things. for fun. i dont think i did it super great but it was a fun exercise!!
