NIGHTMARE STARTERS found hereStatus: ACCEPTING

Kyungsoo jolts awake covered in a thin layer of sweat. His eyes are wide and wild as he’s still half of sleep just coming out of a nightmare. Once his disorientation fades he places his hand over his heart. It’s beating at a mile a minute and it feels like it’s going to burst out of his chest. Silence hangs over the two of them for a while before Kyungsoo can even process that Alexander has spoken to him. “I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to worry you.” He says softly before moving his hand upwards to sweep his hair back from his forehead. He doesn’t dare close his eyes, afraid that visions of his nightmare would come back…He didn’t want to think about it, because he’d lived through it once, in his nightmares it was escalated and made worse. Being mugged had put a sort of trauma on his sleeping mind apparently.

"Just one night?" Suwon frowns. "I wouldn't like that. I need more than one night with you. I need all the nights with you, you silly girl."

You’re acting really strangely.” “Let’s get you to the shower, you’re covered in sweat.” “There’s really nobody else here.” “You’ve got a really bad fever. That must have caused those weird dreams.” “I don’t even know what a peaceful night’s sleep is like anymore.” “I can’t do this anymore. These nightmares have to stop…” “Shh, it was just a bad dream. Just a dream, okay? None of it was real.” “I can’t go back to sleep after that. I need coffee– no, I need a drink, a stiff one.” “How long have you been having these nightmares?” “I’ve had nightmares all my life, but they’ve been really bad recently.” “You get so worked up before you go to sleep, maybe you should try to relax a bit more. Maybe then you’ll get some rest?” “I’d kill for a peaceful night’s sleep.” “A dream catcher? Honestly? I’m not a child.” “Nothing’s ever helped this. He is giving a glare as he looked at the other male. He didn’t think it was funny which was why he wasn’t laughing, he was hungry and wanted his food. “Thank you! Did it need to take that long to order some freaking Jiajingyun?” He hissed while he give his order and handed over the menu with a smile. Ordering the same thing as the other male before his smile drops as he looked back at him. “I’m not myself when I’m hungry because I need food.” Seeing him toss a bite sized candy at him he actually laughed this time. “you are an idiot. Why do I hang out with you?”

Kyungsoo ignores the other’s outburst about ordering once more and waits for them to calm down with their newly found food. “You really want to insult the person who’s feeding you?” He asks with his eyebrows raises before he breaks out in a soft chuckle. “You hang out with me because I feed you. And I tolerate your grumpy ass. That’s why.” He says simply taking a sip from his tea. “I should be asking you, why do you I hang out with you?” He asks with a small smirk on his lips. “You don’t give me candy. I wonder what you have to offer in this relationship.” He hums thoughtfully liking to push the other’s buttons a little bit.

Kyungsoo was about to give his order when the grump across from him halts him from giving the waitress his order of jjajangmyun. “Have you ever heard that patience is a virtue? It seems to be one you’re missing.” He says before shaking his head. “Jjajangmyun please.” He says handing her his menu before glancing back at the grump. “Eat a snickers, you’re not you when you’re hungry.” He says quoting the candy commercial before digging through his bag, tossing the bite sized candy at them. He was a snack hoarder and this time it came in handy.

“Soo…baby… maybe it’s time we have a talk then.”  Suwon takes her hands and holds them together.  Bringing them up this lips, he kisses at her fingertips before continuing with a solemn face.  “I need to know who you have been cheating on me with because my sailors don’t know how to swim properly.  They’re on swab duty for life if you catch my drift.  All show, no substance.”

It’s a lie.  He could probably get her pregnant with a look, but he isn’t going to fall into her trap so easily.  Sometimes the petite brunette needs to realize she isn’t the only evil one in the relationship.

“I had actually been seeking fertility advice because you..you are the one I want to have the children I can’t actually have at the moment.”  He bites at the inside of his cheek, forcing his eyes to water.  “But, now that I know you’ve been unfaithful?  I…I might need some time.  I might need some space.  I need..me.”  Maybe he shouldn’t have been listening to Britney Spears before getting out of the car to head into the apartment.

Soo’s heart, which was once pounding so hard against her chest, stopped along with her breath. Eyes glued to Suwon she tried not to let her hands shake in his hold. What she heard next though, she never expected. Eyes wide, tears started to form as she was accused of cheating. She had been sick all morning, and she should have had her period by now. So wasn’t this morning sickness? 

“This isn’t a funny joke.” He says softly, tears starting to roll down her cheeks. He was crying...He was blaming her.

“Suwon, you know I wouldn’t, I never...” Now she was getting angry, was this a joke? Hitting the other’s chest with an open palm the tiny woman was now in a rage. “Are you quoting Overprotected right now! Britney Spears? Really?” She asks hitting the other’s chest once more. 

“I tell you I might be pregnant because I haven’t had my period yet and I’ve been sick all morning and you play a joke on me?!” She asks her voice all shaky and high pitched before she just falls on her ass and starts crying.

He watched them closely, watched the way their head ducked down as they took a bite and he smirked. Such a perfect example of how to be obedient, if only his other pets could be so docile and sweet. That was why Kyungsoo was his favorite, his shining star. "Good boy," he praised, feeling the chocolate smear along his fingertips, though he'd just have the boy clean them for him afterwards.

Who knew a simple granola bar would taste so good? When was the last time he ate? He couldn’t remember. Didn’t matter now though. When he came to the end of the bar, his stomach was still growling for more. Without even being asked he started to lick the chocolate that had melted onto Adrian’s fingers. “Is…there more?” He asks hesitantly not wanting to be punished for being greedy, but he was still hungry.
