·˚ ༘ SOO I'VE BEEN GONE FOR A WHILE BUTTTTT it's because I've been focused on finals 😞
·˚ ༘ i am here today to talk about how i've actually found a better way (for me) to manifest and use affirmations!!
·˚ ༘ so, for the past few weeks i've been on and off for manifesting and shifting because i've been a little stressed :'D and with stress comes me feeling the pressure to shift and stuff which is AUGHHH,,, and when this happens, i don't really like using affirmations at all.
·˚ ༘ but what if i told you... the reason why i didn't like using them was most likely because i was using i/me affirmations?
·˚ ༘ now i know a lot of people use i/me affirmations because DUH it's just your thoughts!! BUT. as i was getting ready for school one day, i came across this video. it has nothing to do with shifting or manifesting, i was just curious and thought it would be nice to listen to in order to feel a little better.
·˚ ༘ at chapter 5 of the video (9:36), it spoke about how beneficial it is to change your self talk from i to either your name, you, etc. as if you were giving advice to a good friend!
·˚ ༘ honestly, i'm not sure why i didn't think of this before because 90% of my thoughts ARE actually in the third person 😭 for my whole life i always just naturally acted like i was talking to myself as if i was another person. (examples of my thinking basically: "oh, yeah. noia, you have to go wash the dishes." or "how did you forget to take the trash out??")
·˚ ༘ i've started just consciously affirming things to myself with you/your affs. since i obviously wouldn't tell my friend they can't shift or manifest something specific, i encouraged myself like i would another person WHICH REALLY HELPED!!
·˚ ༘ because guess what . by me using you/your affirmations, i've started actually feeling good about my affirmations instead of dwelling on not wanting to affirm AND i've started manifesting small things again!! (and honestly just feeling better about myself overall because now i can just self soothe on my own)
·˚ ༘ my final exams were easy this week, (EVEN MY CHEM WHICH I WAS THE MOST SCARED ABOUT! IT WAS SO EASY LIKE WHAAAAA) my computer started working again after it was messed up for a few days, (it just was not charging 💔) and a few other manifestations!!
·˚ ༘ so basically, if you're like me and doesn't like using affs that have been i/me affs, try changing them up a bit! chances are, you might just be like me who actually doesn't naturally think in the first person! :D manifesting has been wayyy quicker and easier for me by doing them in the third person!

yes. you've heard this before. yes. it's recycled. i'm not giving you new information, i'm reminding you that you already know what to do and you're just not doing it. sorry lol. drink your cold brew and listen.
you shift by assuming. that's the law. no loophole. no secret ingredient. no five-step guide with a pastel graphic. just assumption. just decision.
if you've ever cried over a fictional character.....congrats. you've already shifted. you just didn't monetise it. do it on purpose next time.
it’s not "i'm so close" or "i almost did it" or "omg did i just feel something." no. it's not a quiz. it's not a scavenger hunt. it's not a 4chan riddle. it's your reality. assume it. you assume your name. you assume gravity works. you assume you have a face.
you want to shift????? ok. then do it. now. like, actually now. while reading this. literally while scrolling. yes, even if you're in the bathroom. you're already doing it, you’re just not owning it.
stop calling it a failed attempt every time you don't get the fireworks. stop naming your moments as if they’re battlefield tombstones. you’re making a museum of "almost." just go. stop narrating it.

* ˚ ✦ title is literally what i'm currently going through AS WE SPEAK 😭
* ˚ ✦ okay, this week has been a little wonky for reasons i'd rather not get into, but basically there was something going on today that i just DID NOT WANT TO DO.
* ˚ ✦ and with that, i began to panic a bit and kind of subconsciously put shifting onto a time crunch which is TERRIBLE FOR ME!! time crunches make me extremely anxious, however a lot of things happen in my life that make me want to shift asap sadly
* ˚ ✦ so, last night i was very overwhelmed and was upset about everything as a whole which carried on into this morning as the deadline(?) was literally right around the damn corner. (i had to go right after school). i spent the morning wallowing a bit about it and dreading the outcome of me having to go somewhere i didn't want to go to
* ˚ ✦ i overconsumed content on shiftblr AGAIN which is a horrible cycle i need to break whenever i feel stuck because for me, it just reinforces the idea that i don't know what i'm doing WHEN I DO KNOW 😭😭
* ˚ ✦ as i did that, i was like ok. i don't wanna take a break, i just want to get out of this situation. so throughout the day, whenever i thought about what i didn't want, i just said "i don't have to go." and even throughout the doubts and spirals about shifting, i still affirmed for a different outcome instead. i feel like the fact that i was so focused on having not shifted to my dr in general made me kind of lessen the doubts and stress over the circumstance that was actually upsetting me which is WHY i managed to manifest a different outcome so quickly
* ˚ ✦ i literally kept getting pissed about shifting while simultaneously affirming and revising the idea of what i dreaded so badly that made me want to shift in the first place (which is kinda funny because i could've EASILY just manifested it away earlier instead of throwing shifting under the bus (HELPP), but i digress)
* ˚ ✦ fast forward to after school, where i literally sat in my bed and LOCKED IN. i was kind of affirming for both at this point like on one hand i was accepting the outcome of me having to go but on the other hand i was like i'm still gonna try to shift before it even happens just in case.
* ˚ ✦ i laid down in bed since i had maybe 2-ish hours before i had to go and used alunirs new video as a way to help me shift. didn't shift to my dr, but i got extremely close as i saw flashing lights, fast heartbeat (worst symptom for me IT DISTRACTS ME BADDD), felt extremely numb, etc. etc. but that's not the reason why i felt so close.
* ˚ ✦ i was hit with a sense of realization again. like oh, it's really this easy, i just have to remember i shifted. i felt so free and calm, as if i was already there in my dr again. as if it was just a simple act of remembering (because it is!). it started to feel natural, which in my opinion was the shift of my awareness :D then i fell asleep for a few minutes before waking back up. my mind drifted back to my current situation again which worried me, but made me remember; i could change it.
* ˚ ✦ i began to affirm for both shifting, and what i wanted. "i don't have to go, i get to stay home." (and i was saying "home" as in my dr bc i consider it my home :3)
* ˚ ✦ and you know what happened around 10 or so minutes later? my dad got a call and told me i didn't have to go because he could tell i was tired. it was that. easy.
* ˚ ✦ TLDR: Despite me spiraling a little all day, I managed to change the outcome for something I didn't want ON A TIME CRUNCH WHICH IS WHAT I HAD BEEN WORRIED ABOUT ALL WEEK! It took LESS THAN ONE DAY. One school day of me just affirming and being the person that just doesn't have to go somewhere they didn't wanna go to.
Honestly, I pretty much DID shift, too! Shifting = Manifesting to me. I just shifted my awareness into a reality where I got to stay home and the 3D reflected it instantly.

what the fuck wait i just remembered i shifted last night??????
seriously this was random but i used my hmm method RIGHT after some DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP ass meditating where i just laid there and tired my body for sleep, then i simply did that hmm method and i got in the trance state so quickly, i felt like my body was slipping off, and my dumbass said "let's shift" and the next thing i know is i shifted somewhere????
like i don't remember, it was weird, i just remembed seeing a very sudden bright of flash light and- mf i'm writing this at an angel number, 3:33.
btw guys, the silva method>>>> anyways i didn't continue, so i shifted somewhere which was my room but not my room.
and then i didn't care much ab it and just laid down to sleep again, and just rn i went back to the memory and it clicked.
mf i had shifted to one of my DR bedrooms for like a couple of mins-
AND GUESS WHICH IT WAS? SPIDERVERSE, BUT SINCE I SCRIPTED MY BEDROOM THERE TO LOOK SIMILAR TO MINE IN MY CR MY DUMBASS DID NOT SEE IT WAS A SHIFT, HOW DID I REALIZE IT WAS MY DR BEDROOMS? i remembered seeing a poster there that i was so confused was on my walls, so i didn't care and slept back, and just a while ago i was zoning out looking at the same spot and it clicked me.
SO YEAH, I SHIFTED LAST NIGHT, BY MY GODDAMN HMM METHOD PAIRED WITH MY SUBLIMINAL BEFORE BED.

✧ I was literally in the biggest slump yesterday it's not even funny but i'm feeling a lot better now! 🥹 I just. wanted to shift. SO BAD. SPEAKING OF WHICH!
✧ idk if anyone has thought of this before, but I made up this exercise(?) or whatever (i'm not sure what to call it HELP) during math class bc I was bored and I wanted to do smth in regards to my shifting journey.
✧ I like to write in a shifting journal everyday, so this time I was like "I don't know if I should keep using affirmations." but I was also like WELL I DO wanna use them for revision... so I thought of the idea to ANALYZE MY AFFIRMATIONS! because tbh, I have this limiting belief that my affirmations won't necessarily mean the same to my subconscious (even though they will if you believe it!) which is why I initially wanted to avoid them altogether.
✧ so basically what I did first was write down the affirmation I was using. for me, I have been trying to use imagination to shift for the past week, so i've been using the affirmation: "I shift instantly through imagination."
✧ THEN, I defined each word of that affirmation. for example:
I = Me, my consciousness, and my inner self.
Shift = The shift of my awareness into a reality.
Instantly = Within seconds with zero resistance.
Through = Using something.
Imagination = Thinking of something using your senses without pressure, with the idea that what is being thought of is real. (Or the 4D/true reality but I don't like the 3D/4D terms for me.)
✧ I tried to define them myself with how I felt about each word. I feel like going by how you actually think of each word really helps because it can pinpoint how that affirmation will work for you!
✧ the last thing I did was combine each definition!
My consciousness shifts its awareness into a new reality within seconds with zero resistance by thinking of a reality with the idea that it's real.
✧ I TRIED WORDING IT BETTER BUT HOPEFULLY YOU GET THE POINT
✧ basically it's like creating a bigger affirmation for your affirmation! obviously you don't have to use the longer version HAHAH i just thought it would help if people could actually SEE what they're affirming and what it means to them!
✧ you could use this with negative thoughts, too! "i can't shift" = "my consciousness is unable to shift it's awareness to another reality" etc. etc.
✧ LIKE, IT'S NOT THAT INTRICATE, BUT IT FEELS LIKE IT HELPED ME A LOTTT! I feel like it can also help people make up their own affirmations! :D but even then, words are just words and they can mean whatever you want them to, like I could literally say shoelaces and it could mean I shift on command HELPP but this is for people like me that enjoy using affirmations that say what's wanted!

shifting is just picking what happens to you (or, read this if you're confused about shifting and a person who has shifted over ten times will explain it...hopefully).
it's just your mind moving into different experiential realities based on what you're aligned with at any given second.
you are already doing it. constantly. every time you make a decision, change your opinion, react to something differently, you are mentally stepping into a different version of your life.
you pick tea instead of coffee, you're now in the branch where you drank tea.
you believe you're bad at maths, you're now living the sequence where that belief colours your whole experience of maths.
you decide "i'm lucky" and actually internalise it, you start living out a reality structured by that assumption.
shifting is not special. it's literally just continuous relocation of consciousness through choice and belief, tiny or huge.
most people shift so microscopically they don't notice. they call it "change," "growth," "bad luck," "mood swings," but really it's just consciousness slipping sideways into another experiential stream where the variables are a little different.
big shifting, like waking up in another reality, is just doing that same thing but deliberately, with intent, with commitment.
instead of unconsciously slipping into a slightly different branch because you chose a different lunch, you are consciously saying:
"ok. now i experience myself in this completely different set of conditions."
and your brain, because it is literally a data-processing organ, not a fixed meat box, accepts it when you make it real enough to override old data. are you still with me !?!?!?
you shift every second based on decisions, reactions, beliefs.
most shifts are small, unnoticed, cumulative. "big" shifts are just conscious, deliberate relocations into drastically different experiential data. it's not magic. it's normal. it's mechanical. it's the default setting of existence.
every moment you're experiencing a version of your life.
it's not THEE life. it's A life, the one you're tuned into right now based on what you expect, believe, and focus on.
when you shift, you're just moving into a different version of your life experience.
not a new world. not a portal. not a dream.
just a different set of experiences your mind is capable of locking onto, like changing playlists.
you do it already, every time you change your mind, act differently, even notice something new.
you're not jumping through dimensions like a marvel movie, you're just moving your awareness into a slightly or hugely different path that was always accessible.
small shifts = when you start liking sushi after hating it.
big shifts = when you wake up and the whole setup feels different because you deliberately chose a new pattern to lock into.
your experiences are flexible. your mind moves through them automatically. deliberate shifting is just taking the wheel.
now, for "big" shifts.
getting into the big shifts, or living in a completely different setup, starts with the same process as the small ones: some sort of belief and assumption.
if you're shifting into a different experience, whether that's hogwarts, a marvel universe, or a whole new version of your life, it's because you choose to believe that it's possible. just like you decide you're lucky or bad at maths, you decide you're already living in that new life.
it's not about waiting for something to "happen" or needing a cosmic shift. it's simply deciding that this new life is what you are now aligning with.
the key to big shifts is assumption.
you've been shifting already, but the experience you're living in right now is the one your mind is locked into. to get to something drastically different, you just need to fully assume that it's yours. it's like deciding what you're going to eat for lunch. one day it's pasta, the next it's sushi.
it doesn't need to be a complicated, mystical process. you just shift your awareness by choosing the assumption that the new setup is already happening for you.
why it's possible to wake up in a different world or timeline: your brain doesn't care if you're imagining or physically experiencing something, it will treat both as equally real.
once you decide that this new life is your life, your brain accepts it. you're not "leaving" one world and going to another, you're simply locking into a different path that was always available.
everything already exists. it's just a matter of tuning your mind to it.
once you assume it's possible, it's like pressing play on a movie. you commit to the experience, and your brain accepts it because it's designed to process whatever you focus on as reality.
the difference between a small shift and a big one is the depth of your focus and how much you align with that new assumption. the more you assume you're in this new reality, the more real it feels.
how to get there
stop looking at the shift as something you need to "arrive" at or wait for. it's happening now.
you don't need to fight your current experience; you just need to choose to experience the new one. you get there by focusing on the new belief, like a switch, but it's not a sudden jolt. it's a steady, quiet shift of awareness that says: this is my life now.
and the result: your mind doesn't draw boundaries between worlds. once you decide to step into a different version of your life, all that's required is the commitment to live inside it.
the reason it works with fantasy worlds, with totally different setups, is that your mind knows no limits. if you can think it and fully believe it's yours, it is yours. shifting is just you consciously moving into another path you've decided to live out.
why don't i see it? (aka why is my world not changing)
(i will copy and paste something i said previously, but it is 100% applicable here)
our brain files things under "real" and "not real" as if it's got an actual authority on the matter. but. it doesn't have any proof.
your brain doesn't have eyes. now i know you'll say that you do.
but what do your eyes actually do? they see things. cool. but . your eyes don't see truth. they see whatever your brain tells them is real.
example: ever woken up from a dream and for a few seconds, you still thought it was real? fully convinced? because your brain believed it, so your eyes went along with it. your heart raced, your hands shook, maybe you even felt pain. all from something that wasn't real.
or ever had deja vu? where you swear something has happened before, but you know it hasn’t? again. your brain is filling in gaps. deciding what's real for you.
so when you say, i know i'm in my cr because i can see it, what you’re really saying is, i know i'm in my cr because my brain is telling me i am.
but your brain is just following a script. one it's been running since birth. what happens when you stop following it? when you stop taking its word for it?
when you ask what if i already shifted? your brain freezes. because it doesn't actually know. it just assumes. and when it starts to doubt itself, that's when you slip through.
how do you break out of it: stop trying to make reality change. assume it already has. sit in the knowing that you are already where you want to be. no proving, no waiting, no searching. just accepting. reality bends to what you accept as fact.
the only thing keeping you in your cr is that you keep assuming it's real.
why some people shift easily and some don't:
it's not because some people are chosen or have magic brains. it's not because they "tried harder" or found a secret method. it's because some people assume they've already done it, and some keep looking around for proof.
when you're still checking, doubting, testing, your mind is holding onto the idea that you're not there yet.
even if you're doing all the techniques right, if the feeling underneath. it is "i'm trying to shift" instead of "i already have," you're holding the experience of waiting, not having.
people who wake up in their drs didn't stay stuck in the "trying" mindset.
it's not about how badly you want it. it's about whether you accept it without needing anything outside of you to confirm it.
your brain doesn't need to see it first. it needs to believe it first. seeing follows.
to the people who haven't shifted: you're not that wrong, broken, or bad at it. it's just that you're mind is still split, half believing, half checking. half stepping into it, half pulling back. and that's human. that's normal. but the second you stop needing to "see it to believe it" and start trusting the inner knowing, you'll slip through.
do you need to persist in your assumption?
technically, no.
but practically???? sometimes, yes.
here's why: shifting isn't about how hard you push. it's about what you accept as true. if you could snap into a full-body, no-doubt belief that you already shifted, right now, you wouldn't need persistence at all. you'd be done. locked in. experiencing it.
but, because most people have years of habits, doubts, conditioning, it's not always instant. the mind wants to fall back into what feels familiar.
not because it's evil. not because it's trying to sabotage you. just because that's how the brain saves energy: it runs the old script unless you feed it a new one enough times to override it.
nothing can stop you from shifting.
not your doubts. not your overthinking. not your past. not your fears. not your age. not how long you've "failed." not your mental health. not the fact that you woke up in your same bed today. not how "stuck" you feel. not your logic. not your friends, your parents, your teachers, your surroundings. not your subconscious. not the clock. not the calendar. not "missing the void." not "doing it wrong."
nothing.
because shifting isn't something you earn. it's not a reward you unlock after completing a list of tasks or becoming a better, calmer, smarter version of yourself. it's not a door guarded.
shifting is just moving your awareness to a different experience. you are the only authority. your assumption is the key, the lock, the door, the floorboards.
even your resistance can't stop it, because the second you decide, even if a part of you is screaming “this is stupid,” your mind begins tilting toward the new path.
moment by moment.
shift by shift.
breath by breath.
the only thing that delays it is believing that something can delay it.
but if you drop that???? if you stop believing anything outside of you has the power???? you move. immediately. automatically. effortlessly.
you cannot be denied access to something that was never closed. you cannot be blocked from a process that is natural to you. you cannot fail at something that is built into the way you already exist.
you shift because you decide to. that's it. that's all.

and that's really it.
shifting isn't some cosmic lottery. it's not about waiting for a sign or chasing a feeling. it's not about methods or hours or perfect conditions.
it's just a choice. and then you live like it's true, even if everything around you still smells like your old life for a minute.
you don't owe the old version of your life anything. you don't need to explain yourself to your senses. you don't need to argue with your thoughts. you just decide and you stay decided. even when it's boring. even when it's slow. even when your brain wants to reroute you back into doubt.
the shift doesn't happen because you begged for it. the shift happens because you stopped needing permission to believe you already had it.
no chasing. no proving. no waiting. just deciding.

YOU ARE DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT.
Don't get your head in those doubts like, 'Oh, what if I can't shift?' That's not possible. You were chosen to know about shifting for a REASON. There are 8.2 BILLION people in this world. Think about it. 8 BILLION people.
Now, how do you feel? Do you feel special? GOOD. Keep feeling that way. Some of you, not all of you, read these posts on Tumblr but don't really READ them.
'Oh, I'm the creator of my universe.' Yes, but do you really UNDERSTAND that? I feel like for some of you, it's like you're in front of a teacher, and each word just goes in one ear and out the other. Now, shifting isn't this ELABORATE and majestic thing that needs to be taught in a specific way. It's not like driving, okay? There are no rules, no directions, just YOU. Understand that it's just YOU.
That drink in your hand? You created that. The computer or phone you're reading this on? You created that. Everything in this world YOU created.
You are doing everything right. You know what I mean.
You will wake up in your DR. Those sleep methods you're doing? They're working perfectly. You aren't just 'close,' you are THERE. You have always been there, since the beginning of whatever. No need to think you are close, because you are there.
'Oh, but what if I don't shift today?' Shifting isn't something that needs to be rushed. Everything will happen eventually. You have shifted before; you know this. You know you need to just let go and let it happen. Don't overcomplicate it. Listen to yourself. Do you know how stupid you sound? Thousands of people have shifted to their DRs, and somehow you can't? That's just rubbish.
'Oh, what if that shift was just a dream?' What dream feels so real that you can feel the bedsheets? What dream looks like your desired reality so perfectly it has everything, even the rings and jewelry your aunt placed there on the dresser? Why did you get up and look in the mirror and see yourself perfectly and clearly? That was REAL. You shifted. Do not doubt yourself.
'But what if shifting is one elaborate joke?' Seriously? That's one of your doubts? People spend months, YEARS, shifting, and you think people are JOKING? You have spent 5 YEARS knowing about shifting and 2 or 3 actively shifting, and you still think it's a joke? YOU have to be joking with those doubts. This isn't like that one movie people suddenly made up on TikTok and started creating a plot, characters, settings, etc.; this is something real. People have been doing this even before you were born. Now, doesn't that doubt sound silly?
Now, you don't have to be perfect. Listen, people have shifted with doubts. But listen here, if you assume it is true, it is true. 'Oh, he's so in love with me.' Yeah, he is! 'Oh, my cat's super distant. Yeah, they are. Your subconscious isn't this mystical entity trying to work against you. It's like a mirror; if you look in that mirror and say, 'I can't shift,' then your subconscious repeats it. It has an IQ of 0. Like a little kid repeating every word and agreeing with your opinions. You tell that little kid, "Oh, I can shift! Everyone shifts." Then it repeats it; it agrees. That's how simple your subconscious is.
Now, what about intentions? Intentions aren't this super complicated ritual; they're just your thoughts. You don't have to write out your thoughts, burn the piece of paper, and bury the scraps in the ground. Just think. 'Oh, I set my intention to shift.' That's literally all you need to do. Your subconscious will look at you and shrug like, 'Oh okay. Let's shift!' And guess what? BOOM. You're in your DR. Simple. Literally so simple.
Now, some of you are like, "Oh, I did that! But I'm still in my CR." Look deep within yourself. Are you scared of the possibility you're going somewhere new? Or, do you expect to wake up in your CR again after doing your method? Really think about it and begin to change. Tell that subconscious that you don't expect to wake up in your CR, or tell it that you aren't scared; you're excited.
Now, as one of my favorite quotes says,
"You are a consciousness with a body, not a body with a consciousness."
Go shift. Go do your method, or just fall asleep and wake up in your DR. It's that simple. And every time you feel doubts, PERSIST. 'Oh, what if—' NOPE. I am going to shift.
You know about shifting for a reason. You can shift. It is INEVITABLE.
Now don't look at me all dumb; you know this. You've heard it a million times. Don't roll your eyes; THINK, and absorb this information.
Now go do whatever silly little thing you are going to do. But just know, you can shift. You WILL shift.

if it's not happening, it's because you’re still treating the 3d like it's anything but your own assumption reflecting back to you. still assuming lack while saying abundance. still looking for signs instead of stepping into the thing as if it's already yours.
nothing external needs to change. your state does. and that can happen in one second, in one thought.

  you keep checking . . . ౨ৎ  the second you look over your shoulder to see if it worked, you're signalling it hasn't. assumption doesn't need confirmation. assumption doesn't peek.  ꒰  what to do , stop asking. stop waiting. decide it's done and get on with your life. keep walking.

  subconscious doubts . . . ౨ৎ   somewhere deep, under the clean sentences you say out loud, there's a voice. 'what if it's not real?' 'what if i'm not good enough?' it camps out in the marrow, slowing you down before you ever start.  ꒰  what to do , rewire yourself. not once, not wistfully. daily, methodically. affirm it until it's more instinct than wish.

  overthinking the methods . . . ౨ৎ  you're not assembling a bomb. you're not cracking the human genome. shifting isn't method worship. it's assumption.  ꒰  what to do , pick what feels natural. raven, lullaby, drift, whatever stops the noise. trust the simplicity. complexity is a coffin.

  fear of success or change . . . ౨ৎ  self-sabotage wears a hundred faces. sometimes it's something that says you're safer in longing than in arrival. the mind clings to its ruins because they are familiar. ꒰  what to do , dig out the rot. write out your fears like you're testifying. remind yourself that change is not exile. you're allowed to cross thresholds.

i'm remembering how bad my mha hyperfixation was when i was 10 and i lowkey wish i had learned about shifting back then because it would've been SO FUN but on the other hand i'm grateful i learned when i was older because i would've tried dating EVERY CHARACTER 🙁🙁 (yagami yato had me in a chokehold back then)
