Welcome to Junelezen 2022!

We decided to take a slightly different approach this year and instead of giving you random (though lovely) prompts, we want to encourage you to show us the journey of your elezen OC throughout the game.

The prompts will guide you through the whole of FFXIV's story, using Achievement titles of the game from ARR through to EW while being vague enough as not to be spoilery for those who haven't reached endgame yet.

You don't want to go chronologically through the game while tackling the prompts? No worries, feel free to go wild with your imagination!

We are looking forward to your amazing screenshots, stories, and whatever else you're coming up with!

Defending Zenos is not the hill I am going to die on, honestly. There’s better things to do with my time, etc, but I do find it … odd… that people are so quick to call him bland or ineffective when he’s actually been incredibly consistent as a character and with his goals since his first appearance. He’s not like Elidibus or Gaius, who are practically different characters every single time they show up in the story, or some of the Scions who have very vaguely defined goals or character arcs.

Like. goddamn. The boy’s got a character arc, he’s got character growth, well defined (if simplistic) goals… I get that he’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I do! Everyone has a right to like whatever characters they find interesting, or whatever. But lately there seems to be a serious confusion between “a good character” and “character that I like”, and I’ve been getting a little frustrated by it.

I like how the community has, for years, collectively decided that we are all too lazy to walk back to the entrance of Haukke Manor, so we teach our young to use Return as if that were the way the dungeon was designed to be navigated.

idk why but the idea of spock being a Vulcan Bad Boy™️ will never not be funny to me. Spock turning down the VSA. Spock holding hands with humans in PUBLIC. Spock LYING. Vulcans everywhere are shocked & appalled but I just love him that much more
