Apparently in Japan they got to see the prologue movie for Nightbringer during the TOHO Cinemas event? CELESTIAL WAR CRUMBS PERHAPS?? I’m totally not the Avatar of Envy right now 😭 I’m sure they’ll post to YT at some point soon before the release. I hope those that got the opportunity to see it had fun 💙🌟

I’m not crying I’m not crying I’m not crying. 😭😭😭 Though as a Luci stan, I’ve been wanting to see Luci cry and suffer. 🤡 These crumbs we got are going to help a lot when I get to the chapter of my fic where I write the Celestial Realm flashback. 😭💖

My predictions were wrong asf. 😭 Basically this is gonna be like the OG game in format when it comes to the game. Most likely playing through the story + dance battles, tho this time it will be a rhythm game. I’m rlly happy that the MC is going to be in the game tho and we get to fall in love with our faves again. I just hope the lines are voiced this time so i can hear Luci cry and be angry pls. 🤧

OM! Nightbringer’s opening has given me motivation to get back to grinding on my fic, but with great motivation comes plot changes and going through chapters to assure the story is going through the right path. 😭 I already wanted this story to be angsty but I question if I’m making Lucifer suffer enough with Evangeline forgetting her past relationship with him. 🤔

What is it with me and wanting to make him suffer in my writing when he’s my comfort character? 💀

OM! Nightbringer

I lowkey did NOT expect a whole new game but this is such amazing news! 😩 THIS. THIS is the potential that I was talking about that this game had. THE CELESTIAL WAR. THE LORE. THE AMAZING ANIMATION. AND NOT TO MENTION IT THE INTRO WAS DARK AND THEY ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE DEMONS.

This is what I have been waiting for a long time and it was delivered.

My speculations:

My guess on how this OM!N is going to go is that it’ll be something similar to TWST. There is no romance; rather a lore-focused story that focuses on Satan (note the name “Nightbringer” as opposed to Lucifer the “Lightbringer.”) Solomon will play an important role as well.

In the Meet and Greet stream, they said that remixed songs will be shown in Nightbringer, my guess is that it could be a potential rhythm game. (?)

I cannot wait for the ANGST. THE WAR. THE STORY. Just everything. This is news that made my night tbh.

My only hope now is that in the next season of the game, we finally at least have an option to choose our favorite and marry them. 💞

This is really interesting actually. “Satan’s in the spotlight this time” meaning now there will be some events where one character is the focus in the event stories… I like this tbh, meaning we’ll get to see this from other characters in the future 🧐 Looks like this event is your time to shine, Satan stans 👀

One of my new year’s resolutions: Try to update my OM! fanfiction more frequently 😭 I love how I have the ending planned as well as what is going to happen in the story, and then I get writer’s block and lack of motivation to do so. I have a good amount of angst, smut and fluff planned for this story I just want the motivation PLS 🙏

Obey Me BGM Foreshadowing?

Y’all- I was unlocking some new BGM that I haven’t been putting in time to unlock and I noticed something:

Why do I think some of these titles for the BGMs foreshadow future lessons in the game? Like for instance, I find it interesting that one of them is called “Wake Up,” and it is literally a melancholic version of “Happy Family.”

Honestly I can’t help but think something is going to happen to us, the MC in future lessons considering we are Lilith’s descendant, the sole proof that she lived a good life as a human. I feel that when the brothers’ father finds out (most likely he knows already and is waiting for the right moment to make a move on us.) Though, I’m sure the writers didn’t add “hitman” to Raphael’s profile for no reason 👀 And we still don’t know who the backstabbing sandwich belongs to either. I’m placing my bets on Raphael, despite the fact that he was pretty much a cinnamon roll to me in the recent season, but you never know what could happen in the future as we get deeper into the Celestial Realm lore. The brothers’ father could order Raphael to kill MC because they are connected to Lilith. Plus, as we saw with the recent season that recently concluded, it appears that the writers in the OM! Team like to save all the juicy story stuff for the end.🧐

I mean it would be nice to see some angst and Celestial War flashbacks. (Genuinely want to see that moment where Lucifer got angry at his father. Or when Satan was born 👀) There’s so much that can be done here. 😩
