Ok I know this one doesn't really match up to the prompt but hear me out, Freedom= being able to draw the speedster character in the sonic pose.

Was aiming to try and finish all three images for the @fairytail-redraw , but I don’t think I’ll be able to get to the third one for a bit. So here’s the two I did!

The last two weeks has been hard for drawing. Unsure why. Just an art blocks, I guess. But these were fun to do regardless!

“Wishing wells aren’t real Yor, they’re just silly.”

“Maybe there’s a chance.”

“We’re in high school not primary,” Camille scoffs, “it’s just a waste of a good coin.”

“We’ll I think anything’s possible.” Yor Briar ignores her friend and sits along the rim of the well. Sure it’s just an ornamental design at a shopping mall and not some magical forest enclave, but it couldn’t hurt. She closes her eyes as she holds the coin over the edge, makes her silent wish then drops the coin in. When she hears the plunk sound of the water, she opens her eyes again. And thats when Yor notices someone staring back.

Their eyes lock in on one another. Red eyes meeting blue. Loid Forger, a senior and the quarterback at their high school is looking at her, staring with a soft expression and giving a small wave. Yor blushes and quickly turns away to hide her face. Where’d he come from and why is her crush staring at her like that?! He’s never acknowledged her before.

“Yor!” Camille shakes her. “What are you doing?!” She whispers. “Thee Loid Forger is waving at you!”

Yor tucks a fallen strand behind her ear as an anxious move. “But why?”

“Who cares, why?! The guy’s hot and popular, that’s all you need to know… and he’s walking this way!”

“What?!” Yor stiffens and turns to the direction Loid was in to see him coming towards them. “What do I do?!”

“Talk to him!” Camille pats her back. “I’ll catch ya later,” she proclaims as soon as Loid reaches them.

Loid walks up and sits down next to her. “Hi! Yor, right?” He points his question. “Yor Briar from the cheer squad?”

“That’s me.” Yor unconsciously tucks an unruly lock of hair back again. She smiles, but keeps her eyes averted in her nervousness. “Is there something I can help you with?”

“As a matter of fact, yes.” He takes her hand tentatively, and when she doesn’t pull away, holds it firmly. Loid then pulls her chin up and gazes directly at her eyes with a smile. “Would you like to go to the movies with me?”

Yor’s eyes flash wide. “L-Like a date?”

“Yeah.” He tucks the errant strand of hair back again for her, letting his fingers skim along her cheek. “I’d love to go on a date with you.”

“O-Okay,” Yor stutters through the reddening heat growing over her face, “s-sure, um when?”

“How about tomorrow? Are you free at 6pm?”

“Uh-huh,” Yor nods nervously.

“Then I’ll pick you up.” Loid suggests. Once she agrees, they exchange phone numbers and Yor gives him her address. “See you tomorrow Yor,” Loid kisses her cheek before walking away.

Yor touches the spot on her cheek, still in shock over the turn of events. She turns and stares at the wishing well, but it’s just a decoration… It was a whim not meant to be real. She smiles as the heat rises on her skin. Camille may not believe, but maybe this mall wishing well is magical after all!
