Lost and confused was the only way to explain how you felt during the entrance exams. Everything was confusing, you did want to go through it with Tokyo and Yumiko but the three of you were split up. You kept running, it felt like you couldn't stop for a second until you were stopped with force. Whatever stopped you, had your head hurting. It hurt, it couldn't be a person possibly. You took a step back, narrowing your eyes in confusion, your eyes widening when you saw what it was.
"One of those things. You're just what I needed." You muttered under your breath, looking over your shoulder and seeing someone stuck under the pavement. You stared at them for a moment then ran towards them, kicking the pavement off and picking them off. "Whoโ€”wait, thanks!" The person you were carrying said as you stayed quiet until you got to a safe place with them. "You're welcome." You responded, kneeling down and focusing on a large, cracked piece of pavement. The giant bot had followed you to where you were. "I can get rid-" The person you saved started.
The giant bot quickly fell as you threw the large piece of pavement at it, a loud thud coming from the fall, and you could've sworn the ground shook a bit aswell. "Stay safe!" You yelled, running off once again. "What a pretty girl." They murmured under their breath.
"Excuse me!" Yumiko said, running past a bunch of people before stopping in her tracks, something had caught her attention. She noticed two boys helping a girl get from under some rubble. Yumiko stared at them for a moment before adverting her gaze, a small smile forming on her face. She skipped over to them, "Do you guys need energy?" She questioned, kneeling down behind them. Yumiko reached her hand back and pulled out three jars, handing them to the three people. "They're safe to drink! Big boost." She added then quickly backed up before running off. "I hope you guys get in!" She yelled to motivate the people she just helped.
"One, two, three.., four, five, six," Tokyo hummed, dragging a crimson red scythe behind her. "I should stop, defeating these things are boring without Y/N and Yumiko." She grumbled, her walking getting slower. "Out of the way!" A husky voice yelled behind her, a loud boom followed. Tokyo quickly looked over her shoulder before being pushed down by the same exact person who had just yelled at her. She laid on the ground for a moment before getting up and running, "Maybe taking all the bots won't be too bad. Not everyone deserves points." She said under her breath.
"I wonder how long until the entrance exams are over." You said to yourself, standing on top of a bot you defeated. You stared down at it for a moment then kicked it lightly, "I can't do anything with you, you're not apart of Mother Nature, unfortunately. You could definitely do me some good use." You rambled, throwing another piece of pavement at a bot that was going near some clearly exhausted people.
"They're doing so good, I told you that my recruits had potential."
"Don't get so full of yourself, points will tell."
"There's clearly gonna be someone with higher points than them, but with their quirks, I want these girls in U.A."
"I agree, points will tell."
The voice went silent, clearly not pleased by their opinions on her recruits.
"One day, my recruits will most definitely surpass you two. Especially Y/N, just look at her."
Tokyo continued chasing after the boy who had pushed her down. "Stop running from me before I send something at you!" She yelled, pausing to catch her breath. "Stop chasing me then." He responded, not looking back whatsoever. Just getting rid of whatever was in his way. "Kei," Tokyo whispered, looking down at the bracelet on her hand. She sighed, rolling her eyes as what she wanted to happenโ€”didn't happen. "He can put himself in the air with his quirk," She muttered before being yanked. "Hi, Tokyo!" Yumiko said, holding the girl over her shoulder. "Yumiko!"
"Sorry for the surprise, trying to find Y/N but it looks like I've came across you!" She laughed, running as her grip on Tokyo got tighter. Tokyo felt a gaze on her as Yumiko ran, making her look up and saw the same guy from earlier. "Yumiko, can you run a bit faster?" Tokyo whispered, staring up at the boy. A smirk formed on his face but he quickly shook his head, there was no need to sabotage others.. yet.
Yumiko looked at Tokyo before nodding, "Sure thing!" Yumiko answered, but little did she know, they were going to get to you a bit faster than expected, but not in a good way. Yumiko kept running and there was a bot she had to jump over, which she didโ€”almost successfully, until after she jumped, she fell, and Tokyo fell too. "Hurry and get off of me, Yumiโ€”you're heavier than I imagined..," Tokyo grunted, her voice muffled due to her face being in the ground. "Sorry, Tokyo!" Yumiko quickly apologized, getting up and helping Tokyo up aswell. "All good," The girl gruffly responded, shaking her head to get the dust out of her head. Tokyo glanced ahead of them and noticed the boy she had saw only a few seconds ago was already gone.
"This is hell," She muttered under her breath. If only you three were really prepared for what the entrance exams had in store for you, but if it already feels this bad, I wonder how you all would treat the future?
"Y/N!" Yumiko screamed loudly once the entrance exams were over with. You turned your head where the sound of her voice came from, your eyes widened. You saw Yumiko running towards you with Tokyo trailing behind her slowly, "We were looking for you!" Yumiko panted, her hands making their way to your shoulders. "Of course you wereโ€”but what happened with you two?" You asked, a sheepish smile plastered on your face. "A lot..," Yumiko answered, glancing over her shoulder at Tokyo. "Hopefully we got enough points to get in, though! A bit odd we had to come and do this considering-"
"We did," Tokyo cut Yumiko off. A crow flew on her shoulder, staring you and Yumiko down. "Why are you like, friends with so many animals?" You questioned, glaring at the crow. Tokyo eyes widened and she looked at the crow on her shoulder, "That's not mine.. that's my mom's crow. I only own a snake." Tokyo mumbled, embarrassed. "I didn't know she was watching over us during the entrance exams." She added, holding her arm. "But, yeah, we passed." She finished off, fixing her posture. "I just know it." Tokyo added confidently.
You and Yumiko tilted your head at the girl, slightly confused. "I loveeee the energy, is this your ego?" Yumiko smiled, "Yeah, is it? If so is your ego is what's getting us in U.A?" Tokyo narrowed her eyes at your question then glanced around, noticing people leaving. "I hope so, did we miss out on what they were saying? Cause everyone's leaving." Tokyo mumbled and you and Yumiko began to look around. "Oh, I'm assuming so! But we'll find out what we need to know in the letters," You hummed, holding your hands together.
"Well, here comes the fear of seeing the acceptance letters."

_____________
You couldn't quite remember everything. Your vision was so blurry, everything felt blank, your body was numb. Why couldn't you think straight at this very moment? It was confusing youโ€”what happened?
Muffled crying could be heard near you, and a voice which's tone was a mixture of happiness, relief, and something else you couldn't put your finger on. "Oh, Y/N! Y-You're woke! I was so worried, so so worried, love.." A broken voice said to you. Hearing her voice hurt your heart, it felt like you were stepping on glass. Broken glass. Then you felt an icy gaze on you, and when you felt it, that's when your sight became more clearer, the sounds around you weren't muffled, everything was just fine, it was perfect. Or so it seemed.
You looked around the room, only to notice it was a hospital room. Then looked again, and saw your two bestfriends, Yumiko and Tokyo. Half of Tokyo's face was bandaged up, covering her left eye, and Yumiko had an eyepatch over her right eye. "M-Mom.. what happened?" You finally asked, your voice shaky as you turned your head to your mom with watery eyes. "I'm so sorry, baby. I'm sorry, mommy wasn't there to help you guys. I couldn't." She whispered, grabbing you into a soft hug, which hurt your body. "Tokyo, Yumi.." Your shattered voice murmured, your gaze averting towards them.
And then you noticed, "Your hair." You called out to Tokyo, staring at her. She looked at you quietly, confused, then reached her hand back to bring on of her pigtails towards her face, her eyes widening as she saw her hair colored changed. "I wanna go home." Yumiko mumbled under her breath, her head lowered as she looked down at her bandaged legs and arms. You and Tokyo were bandaged up too, just like Yumiko.
What happened?
And here you are now, nine years after the incident, infront of the house it happened in. The incident went viral around not only your area, but in other places too. "Why are we here again?" Tokyo questioned, her hands in her pockets as Yumiko rested her hands on both you and Tokyo's shoulders. "To visit it, it's been rebuilt and it's vacant." You answered, staring at the door. "My mom said we could." You added, walking towards the door, stopping once you got infront of it to grab the keys from your pocket and open it. Once the three of you got inside, you could only stand in silence.
"Who rebuilt this? It's so cute!" Yumiko squealed.
"It's so different now.. but everything still feels the same, why is that?" You asked, looking around the main area of the house which was only the kitchen and living room before walking back to the door. "Let's go, I don't plan on visiting here ever again." You huffed, locking the door behind you and putting the keys back into your pocket. "I hope what happened to us doesn't happen to the next person who moves in that house." Yumiko whispered, scratching her head as the three of you walked the streets. "Have you guys gotten your acceptance letters yet?" Tokyo blurted out, her question making both you and Yumiko stop in your tracks. "Oh, gosh. I had forgot about that! Do you really think we'll be accepted?"
Yumiko shook her head slightly, "I thought we get accepted based off of showing off our quirks?" You looked at her before nodding. "Mhm, we do. Two acceptance letters I think. Is it called the hero course that we go through first?" Then all three of you went silent and you let out a soft sigh. "I guess we'll see for ourselves then!" You murmured and then started walking again. "Should we go by the park? Or a cafe? I have curfew in thirty minutes." Yumiko rambled, getting the silent treatment from you and Tokyo. "We can just all go home for tonight if your curfew is soon." Tokyo suggested, looking over at Yumiko. "I agree, I doubt my mom wants me late out aswell." You agreed, giving a subtle nod.
Then the three of you eventually parted, each going in your own direction to head back home.
"Y/N!" Your mom yelled from the kitchen as you walked in the house, the scent of her shrimp tempura and fried rice filling the house. But of course, everytime your mom made dinner, she rarely ever forgot a dessert, even if it was small. She had made teriyaki, which you've never tried before. "You're home just in time, sit, sit!" She said, a bright smile on her face as she turned the stove and oven off. "Did you have fun today with the girls?" She questioned as she began fixing your food and hers. "Mhm, I think it could've been better but atleast I was blessed with another day to be with them." You answered, staring at the counter top before looking at your mom over your shoulder.
"Are you hiding something?" You asked.
Your mom looked up at you, her face reddening in embarrassment. "Me? No, no! Why would I hide anything from you..?" She hastily responded, passing you your plate of food before setting hers down beside you, then taking a seat beside you. "Okay," You mumbled, watching her as she reached over and pulled the utensil tray closer to her, grabbing one for you and her. You took it from her and placed it on your plate before looking at her again, "So.., I didn't get any mail?" You questioned, tilting your head at her. Your mom stared at you for a moment, trying to keep a straight face before a worried sigh escaped her lips and she got up, walked towards the refrigerator, stood on her tippy toes and grabbed your mail from on top of it. "You did.." She muttered, handing it to you. Your eyes widened in disbelief as you looked at it, "I got accepted!" You screamed, holding it in the air.
Only for your happiness to be turned into confusion. "Recommendations?" You mumbled, staring at it. "I was recommended U.A.?" You said under your breath before turning the letter over and placing it down. "Too much thinking." You added then looked at your mom, "We can eat now, I don't want the food to get too cold." You said as she looked at you worried before the two of you started to eat. "Being recommended isn't a bad things, it means you stood out to a pro hero to the point they recommended you. Don't beat yourself up about it." You nodded at your mom then sighed, "I'll try, mom."
If only you had the knowledge to understand why time flew by so quickly, you'd probably understand why you were recommended into U.A., and why you, Yumiko, and Tokyo were already at the entrance exam. "I don't like this." Tokyo whispered, watching as the people walked by, adjusting her scarf on her shirt and her belt on her shorts. Yumiko stood proud as she watched the people walk by, but you were also quite nervous about the entire situation. "Can I get some of your blood, Tokyo?" Yumiko asked, holding out a needle infront of Tokyo. "Why?" Tokyo questioned in response, looking down at the slightly shorter girl.
"I'm gonna get us accepted into U.A., completely."
You and Tokyo could only look at Yumiko confused, unaware of what plans she had in mind for the future. Tokyo sighed before taking the needle from Yumiko's hand and stabbing it in her shoulder, making you wince slightly. "Does it hurt?" You questioned quietly and Tokyo stood quiet, her eyes widening. "Yumiko, what's in this needle-" Tokyo started, turning around to face the girl before Yumiko quickly took the needle from Tokyo. "Special something to help us get into U.A., I just needed your blood for it to work." She answered calmly, a smile plastered on her face. Yumiko kneeled down on the ground, her movements quick as she tried to hurry before the entrance exams started. She took her glass jars out, a yellow, liquid glow quickly going through them because of the sun. The solar panels on the lid of the jar were the cause of the sun's light turning into a liquid, so clearly the solar panel wasn't regular. Did Yumiko's mom also make it?
After the jars were filled, she opened them and put two drops of Tokyo's blood in each, putting the lid back on, then shaking them. "Both of you take three, and I take three. These have thirty minutes effects for each one used, use them wisely!" Yumiko informed, pushing three jars towards you then Tokyo. "What is this for, Yumi?" You questioned, holding the jar up and examining it. "To help you make it in U.A.!" She answered, putting her three jars in her backpack.
"What the hell are they doing?" A harsh voice asked from afar, staring at the three of you's interaction before the person scoffed. "Tsk. I doubt they'll get in anyways." They added, stuffing their hands in their pocket.
"Make room for us U.A., because here we come!" Yumiko cheered, running as she heard a loud voice over a speaker, you and Tokyo quickly running after her. "We aren't astronauts, don't say here we come, Yumiko." Tokyo bluntly said.

Please help Rawan, Yemna, and their family! They are still far from their goal of kr319,315 SEK (~$30,000) to evacuate from Gaza; they have currently raised kr97,184 SEK / kr319,315. However, with your help we can change that - every dollar counts no matter how little!!! Together, we can all help the Abudaya family!!
๐ŸŒŸ This campaign has been verified by a Palestinian-led collective - follow them @/palestineasdiqa on IG!!
Please donate and share widely!!!
This campaign is also a fundraiser where your donations can get you some free art from the talented group at Artists 4 Gaza!! Check out artaction4gaza.carrd.co for more info!

IF YOU IGNORE THIS, YOU ARE KILLING MY CHILDRENโ€ผ๏ธ
The situation is very dangerous. My childrenโ€™s lives are in danger. Their skin is melting and peeling from diseases. There are no medical points or doctors to treat them. There is no food available for them. Israel is killing us. Please do not help it with that, but rather help me. I have nothing left but my children. After I lost my family, my home, and everything I have, I have no hope left but you. Imagine that you In my place. Please, with a heavy heart, I ask for your support

Help Ahed get to safety!
Tumblr media
[Art by @monmonp0k]
Hey everyone! Allow us the pleasure of introducing you to Ahed (@ahedalshaer), a 22-year-old dentistry student from Gaza! She dreams of becoming a dentist, and was working very hard to achieve this dream until the occupation destroyed her university and her home. She was forcibly displacing multiple times and now lives in a tent, which lacks basic essentials such as food, water, medical care, or adequate shelter. She is now looking to evacuate, and right now she is quite low on funds.
So let's help her out! Remember that every single bit counts - donate anything you can spare to her, and if you can't spare anything, you should be sharing this post and boosting her campaign however you can.

@robert_martin_palestine_ who visited Palestine years ago says โ€œI visited a family whoโ€™s 5 year old daughter and friend were killed by an Israeli hit and run days before I arrived. We had arranged a banner offering condolences from all over the world.
I was met with these so called Israeli soldiers who attempted to block my way. They had no business being there as it a Palestinian area and had the to tell me they were protecting the family.
Things got a little heated.
Kindergarten student Inas Khalil, age 5, and Nilin Asfour, age 8, had just gotten off the school bus and were walking to their mothers, who were waiting for them on the opposite side of the street, when an Israeli settlerโ€™s car rammed directly into them and sped away.โ€

Israeli cabinet just declared to remove the Palestinian Authority from any governance power in east Bethlehem and southeast Jerusalem.
This is the first official move its kind since the Olso agreements as these areas constitute โ€œArea Bโ€.
Israel is preparing to bring what it did in Gaza to the West Bank, except rather than the military murdering us it is likely the deranged settlers that were strategically armed with new weapons in the last six months.
Itโ€™s been years in the making. The last two years we witnessed unprecedented settlement expansion and illegal outposts across the West Banks area B locations.
Please google what Area A, B, C mean. Stretch your brain a bit, itโ€™ll also give you perspective on the labyrinthine ways settlers work in annexation. Itโ€™s not just bombs and bullets, itโ€™s also in negotiations and treaties designed not for peace but for future conquest.
Theyโ€™re strategic, but still psychopaths.

This measure, if passed in Senate, would make it illegal for the US State Department to cite genocide statistics.
In other words, illegal to do its job.
