MAGA and Fox News has made formerly good people rotten to their core. It’s sickening. Most of my family is MAGA, so I know all too well about it. I’m sorry you have to deal with that from your own parents. Thankfully my mom is amazing and didn’t fall for that bullshit.

So for background - my parents are Trump supporters (trust me, I know).

I was raised very conservative and it was not easy when I first came out, but they’ve grown more and more accepting of me.

Every pride month for the last 6 years or so my mom has bought me something: a bracelet, candle, bag, shoelaces, something with rainbows on it to let me know she supports me.

So, I had dinner with my parents tonight. And I said to my mom, “hey you haven’t wished me a happy pride month yet, did you forget?”

And her response was, “how could I forget? It’s in everything you post” … in like a mocking way.

And I was really caught off guard? And now I’m like really fucking sad.

I hate MAGA sooo much. It’s such a poison.
