Paperlike Screen Protector: Is it worth it?
This post contains affiliate links. If you take action (i.e. make a purchase) after clicking my affiliate links, I’ll probably earn a few bucks which will help keep this website running or just to buy a cup of coffee. You know I only recommend products that I actually use, love and trust, right?
Hiya friend!
In today’s blog, we will talk about the famous Paperlike screen protector for iPad. I’m using an iPad Pro 4th Gen 12.9" and Apple Pencil 2nd Gen.
For months, I’ve been wanting to try this screen protector from Paperlike and now that I have it, I’m just excited to try it out and see if it’s worth the hype. It’s easy to order on their website, you just need to select which iPad version you have and add it to the cart, then proceed to checkout. Then the waiting game begins. I received the package within the week, which is surprisingly amazing since it came all the way from Germany. I guess they have a warehouse in the USA.

In the video, I’ve shown what’s inside the kit and how to apply the screen protector on my iPad. It’s super important to follow the instructions in the packet to prevent bubbles and annoying dust. If you watch closely, you’ll see how I was able to apply this successfully.
Honest Feedback
After applying it, I gave a few runs by writing and doodling on my fave apps – Goodnotes, Noteshelf, Procreate, Affinity Designer for iPad. Honestly, at first, it felt squeaky (the apple pencil is adjusting to the texture) in a way when you try to write on it, the apple pencil tip is not gliding smoothly on the iPad which I’m clueless as to why, but after a few times and after wiping the screen with the cloth included, the apple pencil glides and gives a buttery-feel like.
As of this writing, it’s been 2 weeks since I applied the Paperlike screen protector and I’m happy to say it’s pretty amazing and it does its job.
The Hype
You’ll find a lot of reviews and feedbacks about the Paperlike screen protector. Some love it, while others not so much, but don’t let the negative reviews stop you from trying this out.
As for me, I seriously love it and enjoy writing on my digital planners and journals. Previously, I’ve tried 4-5 different brands and types of matte screen protectors and I can say the Paperlike screen protector is one of the best I’ve tried so far.
Buy from Legit stores
You can purchase the original Paperlike matte screen protector from their website or through their store on Amazon

Hi friend,
Wow! It's been a while since my last planner review. I’ve been busy with a lot of things lately and I had to organize everything before our big move. This is the year I get to leave everything behind and start a new life with my husband, which means I have to quit my job, sell my car and stocks, then book a one-way ticket to another country. I’m so excited for this new chapter in my life.

2 Covers
What's amazing about this planner is you get to choose between these 2 beautiful blush covers, or you can use any of the free covers of @blushingnotes.
Introduction
You can customize this page however you want. Just like with every planner, there is always a page to introduce yourself and write the purpose of this planner.
Content
This page serves as the Index or the Table of Contents for the whole planner. Some tabs redirect to the same page the side tabs have.
Inbox
Use the Inbox template to write your To-Do's, project ideas and random thoughts.
Overview
Use this page to categorize what you've written in your Inbox. This will help you to focus on what's more important and work your way through the list.
Calendar
This section has all the calendar-related templates such as Year At A Glance, Important Dates, Monthly, Weekly and Daily pages. This planner only has the Monday-start, although it'd be nice if there's also a Sunday-start so you won't have to customize the days of the week every now and then.
Calendar Content
This page shows tabs to different calendar-related templates
Year At A Glance
I have added the numbers and customize the font of the Months, then added some color codes for each category such as Work, Rest Day, Vacation, Busy Day. You can totally add your own codes, maybe track Anniversaries and Birthdays too!
Important Dates
I customized the font of the Months here to add some personality into it, then I drew a box for each month so it's easy for me to view each month, added stickers and texts. You can put important dates such as Anniversaries, Holidays, Birthdays, even appointments.
Monthly
I know it's April 2021 already, but here's what I've done for March 2021. Since it's Spring time, I decided to use this cute floral stickers, added the dates, thought of color codes, a long positive affirmation and ofcourse my planner entries for the month.
My Week
This has three different weekly templates. You can use it interchangeably, or stick to one per month by just duplicating the template you want.
Weekly Schedule
For this page, if you prefer to stick to a certain schedule then this is the perfect weekly template for you. Along with the My Week, you can also use this as your main weekly page. The highlights you see are color codes such as if you have one activity for a specific time everyday for example, lights off at 10pm everyday.
Day Planner
There are 2 different Day Planner templates, the left side has a timestamp schedule if you want to stick with your timely routine or if not, you can use the template on the right side which has the list layout.
Personal
This section has all the personal-related templates such as Inspiration Board, Life Aspirations List, Habit & Routines, Organize & Declutter list, Cleaning Routine, Weekly Cleaning Schedule, and it also includes the Goals and other tracker pages.
Personal Content
This page shows tabs to different personal-related templates
Inspiration Board
There are 2 inspiration board templates - horizontal & vertical. I added some photos, quotes and a title or header. You can watch my IGTV on how I decorate my inspiration board!
Goals Overview
Track your goals per category in this page. As you can see in the image, I categorize all my project ideas or random thoughts per topic so it'll be much easier for me which one to prioritize.
Goals Progress
This page lets you track your progress per goal so you can stick to your deadline.
Goal Planner
There are 2 goal planner templates to choose from. If you want a straight-forward goal planner then you should use the template on the right side, but if you want to also track your 'emotional' aspect on how this goal affects you, then choose the template on the left side.
Habits and Routines
This page helps you to track your habits and routines by writing your target goal and the total of what you have done. For example, the Water Intake, my goal is to drink 8 glasses of water everyday for the whole month (atleast 25 days which is what I put in the Goal field). The other 4 or 5 days I can drink milk tea, wine, mojito or cocktails. Then, since I drank 8 glasses of water for 27 days, I put 27 on the Total field, which means I was able to meet my goal. If I completed my goal, I can mark the heart icon just beside Day 31.
Organize and Declutter
This page helps you track which things don't spark joy anymore.
Weekly Cleaning
Cleaning doesn’t always apply to tangible items, you can clean your cloud storage, your notion templates, your Procreate projects, your unused digital planners, or just try to clear your mind.
Cleaning Routine
Same with Weekly Cleaning's purpose, this page is for Daily, Weekly and Monthly cleaning schedule. If you can't think of things to clean, just refer to my image above for inspiration.
Life Aspirations List
This page is for your life aspirations - what you want to achieve or accomplish, whether it's for a short or long term goals. Once you achieved it, you can highlight it and move to the next goal in the list.
To Read
Add your favorite books or books to read, currently reading, to be reviewed. You can also add ratings!
To Watch
Add your favorite shows, movies, new series to watch, and you can also add ratings or even cover photos of the movie or show.
To Listen
I don't really plan what songs to listen to or write songs on my planner, I prefer to have a playlist on my fave music app. However, I think this page does not only talk about songs, you can also write your fave podcast, audio books, ted talks or whatever floats your boat. Right now, my fave song to listen to is Leave The Door Open by Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak (Silk Sonic) which is a feel-good R&B and Soul music.
Projects
This section has all the project-related templates such as Project Overview, Project Planner, Group Project Plan and Project Ideas.
Projects Content
This page shows tabs to different project-related templates.
Project Overview
Perfect if you have projects in school or just at home. For example, I have a project called #getplannerfeatured, and I use this to track my progress and timeline.
Project Planner
Once you've determined your project, you can use this page to help you identify your objectives, progress, action steps, add notes and due date.

Track your workout plan and habits weekly using this template. There's also a weekly meal plan included in the page.
Workout Routine
Write your workout plans and routines, how many reps, distance or sets per workout. You can do it!
Weekly Meal Plan
The Meal Plan doesn't require you to just eat pure leafy and healthy meal. You are allowed to include even the hearty and greasy meal you want. Write down the fried onion rings and buffalo chicken wings you've been craving for!
Daily Meal Planner
Break the weekly meal planner into daily. Write what you're having for breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner for the day.
Inventory
Keep a list of your pantry's inventory and check if you need to do grocery shopping.
Shopping List
Once you've determined which stocks you are running low, it's time to hit the grocery store! Don't forget to bring your shopping list with you!
Period Tracker
This page is to track your mensies and before you barf, take a minute to really understand your period cycle. Tracking it will help you understand your mood swings (that's PMS) and how to avoid cramps.
Gratitude List
Definitely one of my favorite pages, this is super helpful for your personal growth. You have to be appreciative even with the little things.
Year In Color
Mood tracker can be really vague but you can make it fun by putting your own legends or mood colors.
Affirmations
Add your daily mantras or powerful and positive quotes that will help you turn a bad day into a great one!
My Happiness
This page serves as a journal page where you can put which habits or things that make you feel good or happy, what you like to see manifest this week, what limits you the most right now and how you can change it, write both your positive and negative traits, describe the person you want to be and include your values.
Self-Care Ideas

It's time to track your budget for the whole year! Add your source of income, fixed and other expenses then compute the difference so you'd know which things to let go so you can save up more!
Income Tracker
Track all your cash flow using this page. There are a lot of ways how to earn money, you can write your part-time job or side-hustle business too!
Expense Tracker
Take your time writing your expenses, so you'd know which one is important or not, which one to let go of, which things to buy only when necessary
Bill Tracker
It's relevant to track your bills to avoid penalties, interests, or unexpected fines that you may incur when you don't pay your bills in advance or on time.
Savings Tracker
Use this page when you want to save up for something. For me, I'm saving for a brand new MacBook or iMac because I want to focus on my blog, online business and graphic design & videography.
Subscriptions
I love managing my subscriptions! It's easy since it's recurring and has a fixed amount. You don't have to worry about how much you'll pay the next month, unlike your electricity or water bills. You can also cancel some inactive apps or plans. Take advantage of those promotional plans such as 40% off for your 3 months or whatever.
Notes
This page section has all the notes-related templates such as Lined, Dot, Grid and Blank.
Notes Content
This page shows tabs to different paper templates.
Notes Paper Templates
You can choose from different paper templates to help you write anything under the sun! Use this for your journaling, scrapbooking, memory keeping, tracking, or just create a list.

Finances
This is where you put your overall finances - savings, expenses, revenue or difference
Budget
Monthly Budget helps you track all your unexpected expenses and identify the things you don't or won't really need.
Expenses
I'm not really fond of tracking my expenses because I know it'll always be too much or over the budget but I don't have a choice - I just have to track it so I won't go into debt. 😂
Savings
Track your earnings and your cash flow. You can also track your savings for when you want to buy the new iPad Pro or Macbook Pro.
Shopping
Track your shopping list here so you won't have to go over the budget.
Package
Tracking happy mails? Then this is the perfect page! Although since I shifted to digital planning, I don't really have happy mails anymore - maybe happy emails or downloads?
amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0"; amzn_assoc_search_bar = "false"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "kymmiejournals-20"; amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "manual"; amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_title = "Recommended for Digital Planning"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "d32590cf1ecfb8dc160183928b74faf4"; amzn_assoc_asins = "B0876P8VHN,B08VMZ4RTY,B07YTHD64R,B07QYYSDMP";
Charts
Charts page is another paper template that you can use for expenses or lists.
Monthly
The Monthly page is clickable to Weekly and Daily. You can easily access each month by clicking on the Right side tabs. Use this page to easily track your appointments and occasions for the whole month. You can also track your bills and subscriptions here so you'd know when to pay or add your project deadlines and meetings.
Monthly Overview Goals
The Monthly Overview page is right after the Monthly spread or just before the Weekly page. You can put your ideas and priorities for the whole month on this page. Remember to add a lot of visuals - photos and stickers so you won't have to fill every box in case you can't.
Weekly
You can use Weekly Planner to track your meals or menu for the week. Write the ingredients or recipe in the bigger boxes. The top 3 boxes can be used for your top 3 priorities this week.
Daily
The Daily page contains a calendar that is clickable to Weekly and Daily. You can use color blocks to track your schedule. Add stickers or photos for your Mood and Activity.
Braindump
You can access the Braindump page every after the last day of the week. Make your braindump page beautiful by adding visuals such as photos and stickers. Focus on what you want to achieve for next week or what you can improve on.
Health
The Health section focus solely on the activities that make you feel good physically without feeling any guilt. Track your workouts, runs, dance class, yoga, stretching, water intake, sleep, meals and add memoji to the Notes boxes.
amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0"; amzn_assoc_search_bar = "false"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "kymmiejournals-20"; amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "manual"; amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_title = "Recommended for Digital Planning"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "eb3ede4d4018c32e19b9aac81c18ed5f"; amzn_assoc_asins = "B078WLS15K,B08N5NZ4F5,B07PZSNH8G,B086RSPTKS";
Intentions
Weekly Intentions page serves as a guided-journal page where you can put which habits that make you feel good, what you like to see manifest this week, what limits you the most right now and how you can change it, write your mantra, describe the person you want to be this week and positive affirmation.
Gratitude
This is super helpful for your personal growth. You have to be appreciative even with the little things - like how your food has been properly prepared by chefs or crew in fast food, how people you don't normally notice makes your life easier and so much more.
2021 Goals
Track your most important goals monthly and add the things that hinder you to accomplish it so it'll be easier for you to focus on each goal. For example, you have 3 goals but you are having difficulties finishing them because of a low budget or maybe time constraint - these are what you call roadblocks that prevent you from achieving your top goals. Identifying your roadblocks will help you focus more on what needs to be done.
Vision Board
Add a lot of photos here. Your vision board should look engaging and encouraging!
Reflection
Reflect on the things that made you happy or cry for this week and use that to improve yourself and be prepared for the next week.
Affirmations
Add your daily mantras or powerful and positive quotes that will help you turn a bad day into a great one!
Recipes
Be your own chef by utilizing this Recipe page. Browse the internet for recipes or ask your mom's special recipe and put it here.
amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0"; amzn_assoc_search_bar = "false"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "kymmiejournals-20"; amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "manual"; amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_title = "Recommended for Digital Planning"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "eb3ede4d4018c32e19b9aac81c18ed5f"; amzn_assoc_asins = "B078WLS15K,B08N5NZ4F5,B07PZSNH8G,B086RSPTKS";
Cleaning
Cleaning doesn't only apply to tangible items, you can clean your cloud storage, your debts, your To Be Read shelves, your unused planners, or just try to clear out your mind.
Habits
Create and maintain a good and healthy habit. You can track your water intake, stretching, exercise, or a minimum of 8 hours of sleep and reward yourself when you complete your goal.
Mood Tracker
Mood tracker can be really vague but you can make it fun by putting your own legends or mood colors.
Birthday
I enjoy writing down my family and friends' birthdays. This reminds me to greet them on their special day when life gets busy!
Undated
Use these Undated pages - available in Daily, Weekly, Monthly for extra entry.
Lined Paper Templates
Different Lined paper templates to choose from to help you write anything under the sun.
Grid Paper Templates
Graph or Grid paper template to help you track anything!

Dotted Paper Templates
Dot paper to help you with your journaling
Party Planner
Who says party planning isn't a thing or only for occasions with guests more than 50? You can host your own intimate party with family and friends. Host a dinner night or game night - make it fun!
Menu
This page makes me crave for yummy food! Track your menu for the week, your ingredients, and maybe write some adjustments to the recipe.
Hex Color Codes
Definitely one of my favorite pages, the Hex Color Codes provided by Tess to match the planner. You can use this to add colors to your handwriting, shapes, texts, color blocks, lines and so much more! I intended to hide the code to protect the seller's rights.
Milestones
There are a lot of things you should celebrate and this Milestone page is perfect for it. You can track your social media follower count, your online course progress, how many referrals you made, how many sales you made on your side hustle and so much more!
2021 Health & Fitness
It's time to get fit and stay healthy! Track your weight improvement and challenge yourself by tracking your work out days vs cheat days.
Passwords
Well, there's nothing wrong with putting your passwords here as long as it's not your bank pin code or social security ID! Maybe, you can add your social media accounts' password or even the password to every freehub or resource on your fave planner website.
Activities
Track your activities here and your schedule for the week.
amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0"; amzn_assoc_search_bar = "false"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "kymmiejournals-20"; amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "manual"; amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_title = "Recommended for Digital Planning"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "d32590cf1ecfb8dc160183928b74faf4"; amzn_assoc_asins = "B0876P8VHN,B08VMZ4RTY,B07YTHD64R,B07QYYSDMP";
To Read / Watch
Add your favorite shows, movies, new series to watch, books to read, currently reading, to be reviewed. You can also write the names of the books on your wishlist!
Daily Intentions
The Daily Reflection will help you focus on the things that you either want to improve or change. This page will help you identify how you handle difficult things.
2021 Self Reflection
Write your reflection before you say goodbye to 2021. Write your struggles and victories for the year and how you were able to overcome the challenges. 2021 Essential Weekly Digital Planner + Stickers by The Pink Ink
This post contains affiliate links. If you take action (i.e. make a purchase) after clicking my affiliate links, I’ll probably earn a few bucks which will help keep this website running or just to buy a cup of coffee. You know I only recommend products that I actually use, love and trust, right?
Hi friend,
Are you ready for a new year? This is probably the first 2021 digital planner featured in this blog and I know it’s still several weeks away from 2021 but I’m just so excited to say goodbye to 2020. I can’t wait for the borders to open so I can travel already, or to eat out and do some retail shopping and much more!
Today’s feature is about the 2021 Essential Weekly Digital Planner by The Pink Ink. If you haven’t already, read my honest review on the Project Planner or Yay Sticker Book 5 by The Pink Ink as well.
Tools and Resources
Any note-taking app (ex. Goodnotes or Noteshelf, etc.)
iPad 2019 7th Gen (10.2”)
Apple Pencil 1st Gen
Replace your Apple Pencil tips
Paperlike matte screen protector
Details
1 PDF file format of the planner (Monday start January 2021 - December 2021)
1 Goodnotes file with stickers already pre-cropped
52 PNG file format of stickers that are cropped and has transparent background
It has 123 functional pages in total
2021 Essential Weekly Digital Planner
Cover
This Cover page is so chic and simple, you just want to leave it as it is but you can totally personalize it by adding your name or IG handle.
Index
The Index serves as an introduction before you start your planning. It includes helpful links to get you started and also has a special and exclusive discount code for your next purchase.
Yearly
This is what I call, the Year at a Glance page where you can mark important dates and be able to track your plans for the whole year easily. There’s also a section where you can put your primary Business and Personal Goals then Top Tasks and Notes.
Quarterly
This Quarterly Plans page help you focus on both Business and Personal Goals for the whole quarter. The numbers on the upper right corner are clickable to each quarter.
Monthly
Monthly page is perfect for when you need to track your activities and tasks for the whole month. You can use highlighter to mark the dates for when you have recurring tasks. On the bottom right portion of the page, you’ll see tabs to redirect you to the Weeks, Monthly Budget and Monthly Notes.
Weekly
So when you click the Week tab on Monthly page, you’ll be redirected to this Weekly page where you can track your schedule for the whole week without having to go through each Daily page. You can even add your routines and work in progress.
Monthly Budget
Monthly Budget page is perfect for your expenses and savings throughout the whole month where you can manage your subscriptions and bills to pay conveniently. You also get to see your cash flow and how much you’ve earned or spent this specific month.
Monthly Notes
This page is for those times when a random idea pops into your head and you need to write it down so you won’t forget it. Either put those ideas on the List section or write more details about your idea on the Notes/Brain Dump/Ideas section.
More section
More section is what I like to call, Template section where there are several clickable tabs to redirect you to each unique page-layouts for your certain needs like Travel, Grocery, School and such.
List / To Do
The List is a two-column page where you can put all your tasks randomly.   While To Do is still a 2-column page, but this time with 4 different sections where you can list your goals per category, per quarter or per subject.
Content Planner
Content Planner can be used to track your progress and interaction in your social media, blogs and groups. You can do this for the whole quarter or just for the month if you have so many articles or blog posts to publish.
Project Planner
This page is for your projects - may it be in school, at home or just your personal ones. I use this page to track my progress and budget for my ongoing project which is #GetPlannerFeatured but I also use a more detailed planner where I can focus more on the Project itself.
Tracker
The Tracker page has 4 rows where in my case, I use to track my weekly goals like Fitness, Skin Routine, Water Intake, Sleep, Medicine and such then on the Notes/Journal/Thoughts section is where I put all my experience or what I feel after completing the whole week.
Travel Plans
My most favorite page of this planner. It has a unique boarding pass ticket template where I put my memoji as my photo, aside from my flight details. There are 2 flights section for those who have connecting flights or layover. Perfect for business trips, school field trips, conference, personal vacation or just a random getaway.
Journal
This is a Lined-template page where you can totally write anything under the sun!
Education
This is probably my go-to page whenever I take my online courses or workshops. I can also track how many classes I have already took and my login credentials to each online sites.
Grocery List
Who doesn’t love shopping? This 3-column page has 6-lined sections which you can use to make a list of your To-Buy for Grocery shopping.
Meal Plan
This page is perfect for those who are trying to maintain their diet and also those who want to plan their menu a week ahead so they can shop for ingredients beforehand.
Fitness
Same with Meal Plan, the Fitness page has also a box-layout for the week to help you plan your workout ahead of time to become consistent with your routine. Instead of just a List template, there are 2 blocks where you can either put your mantra or just add images that will inspire you to push through.
Graph
I use this Graph page as my Inspiration or Mood Board but you can totally use this page in any way you want!
Plain Page
The Plain page can be used to put your own sticker set, add random notes and doodles or maybe do some Journaling with headers and banners. It’s totally up to you!
Notes section
The Notes section has clickable tabs to 6 Lined pages and 6 Dotted pages. The symbols on the right corner of each tabs indicate if it is Dotted (shaded circle) or Lined (3 parallel lines or dash).
2-page Free Stickers
I decided not to show you the stickers so you can be surprised! 😉 What’s even more amazing is that this digital planner is also a part of a bundle, so you can save more and enjoy your planning and note-taking even better. You can purchase this planner alone or the whole bundle with the Yay Sticker book 5.

Procreate 5X for Beginners by Every-Tuesday
This post contains affiliate links. If you take action (i.e. make a purchase) after clicking my affiliate links, I’ll probably earn a few bucks which will help keep this website running or just to buy a cup of coffee. You know I only recommend products that I actually use, love and trust, right?
Hey gorgeous!
Let's talk about Digital Illustration, shall we?
I love Procreate ever since the first install on my Apple iPad 7th Gen 10.2” and Apple iPad Pro 4th Gen 12.9". At first, it was very overwhelming as I know nothing about digital illustration or the process and technique behind it, but good thing I have basic knowledge of Photoshop and it’s somewhat similar, but Procreate, for me, is much better since it’s portable and easy to navigate and learn how to create artworks. I can say after a few months, I can consider myself a Procreate hustler. It really takes practice, time and effort to learn your style.
If you are just beginning your digital planning journey and somehow know how to draw or you have a great concept or idea to make it more personal using your own illustrations, then Procreate is what I recommend. It took me forever to find the perfect online course to get me started with the Procreate app but after so much practice, I got better and better, and I even write Procreate tutorials now for a creative marketplace company.
amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0"; amzn_assoc_search_bar = "false"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "kymmiejournals-20"; amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "manual"; amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_title = "Recommended for Digital Planning"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "eb3ede4d4018c32e19b9aac81c18ed5f"; amzn_assoc_asins = "B078WLS15K,B08N5NZ4F5,B07PZSNH8G,B086RSPTKS";
After I installed the app, I played around with the settings and the tools, used brushes, and literally just scribbled letters on it, and then it got intimidating. I didn't touch the app for almost 5 days because I didn't understand any of it - what Gaussian Blur is for, what are the blending modes for, how to do a Clipping Mask, what is Alpha Lock, and so on. If you're like me, don't fret! It takes time to get used to it. I've searched for different Procreate workshops and online tutorials everywhere but found nothing that's beginner-friendly, either it only explains what the tools are for and their function or they just draw without taking the time to explain the techniques.
Fortunately, I saw the Procreate for Beginners online course by Teela of Every-Tuesday. I immediately fell in love with her website and began reading through the course catalog.  I took the Procreate for Beginners course when it was still created for Procreate version 5, and since then I followed through with every project and created different amazing artworks that I didn't know I am capable of.
Teela's step-by-step tutorial is truly easy for beginners like me. What's so cool about it is she combined both explaining the tools and their function plus putting them to use by creating different projects. You get to learn different techniques not just how to use the tools or brushes, but also the gestures, how to organize each layer, use Mask instead of eraser, and so on.
With the new Procreate for Beginners course, it is now created for Procreate version 5X (the latest version of Procreate as of this writing).

Tools and Resources
Procreate app - one-time payment
Apple iPad Pro 4th Gen 12.9”
Apple Pencil 2nd Gen
Paperlike matte screen protector
Details
New cool features and tools further explained
4 different projects to follow
You get to download Teela's Procreate files used in the course
Color palettes used for each project
Exclusive brushes
Colorful paint texture in PNG
What's more awesome is you have lifetime access to this course for FREE! Yup, you read that right! This course is FREE and you can refer to it whenever, wherever and however you want to because you have unlimited access to this course.
So what are you waiting for? Enroll Now! And it doesn't stop there! When you're ready to take on different courses or challenge yourself more, you can head on to Teela's YouTube channel for more FREE tutorials or if you really love the teaching style of Teela and invest more in yourself, then you may enroll in her other online courses. Don't miss out on the fun, subscribe to Teela's newsletter for more Freebies. I totally recommend you to take all her online Procreate courses and tutorials on YouTube.
Remember, just take each day one step at a time! You got this!

Undated Cute Teddy Bear Planner
Konnichiwa!
Today's planner feature is a Cute Teddy Bear Monthly Template all the way from Japan! Before anything else, I'd like to share with you my first out-of-country experience and I’m happy it’s in Japan. I've been to 3 cities during my stay - Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. I also got to experience the ever-famous bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto and damn it was fast! From 5-6 hours on a regular ride down to 2 hours with the bullet train. The ticket was a bit expensive but we were in a rush since we want to maximize our stay which is only for a week and a half. We went to Disney Sea and Universal Studios which is super fun, I would really love to go back and eat more sushi!
It was fantabulous! The Cute Teddy Bear Monthly Template reminded me of those happy times before the pandemic hit and before we can travel anywhere. I wish we can go back to being normal.
amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0"; amzn_assoc_search_bar = "false"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "kymmiejournals-20"; amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "manual"; amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_title = "Recommended for Digital Planning"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "d32590cf1ecfb8dc160183928b74faf4"; amzn_assoc_asins = "B083R7Q7XG,B08245WJ42,B085M7V9RF,B08N5NZ4F5";
Undated Cute Teddy Bear Monthly Template
Monthly
Michimo Japan may be new to this digital planning world, but I love that the Cute Teddy Bear Monthly Template has potential. This template is super easy to download and import to your favorite note-taking app.  Once purchased, you will receive 1 PDF file format with 12 monthly pages. Although, there's not enough space to put the days of the week on the top, so I just put it at the bottom. It'd be nice if there's 6 rows instead of 5, for months that have 6 weeks (May and Aug of 2020).
amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0"; amzn_assoc_search_bar = "false"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "kymmiejournals-20"; amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "manual"; amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_title = "Recommended for Digital Planning"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "d32590cf1ecfb8dc160183928b74faf4"; amzn_assoc_asins = "B083R7Q7XG,B08245WJ42,B085M7V9RF,B08N5NZ4F5";

Happy Things Dotties Digital Bullet Journal by Creating with Lucy
Hey friend!
Today’s blog post is about this cutest bullet-inspired journal by Lucy of Create Heart Work, mostly known as Creating with Lucy. The amazing thing about this Happy Things Dotties digital journal, is that you can write anything under the sun! It’s so simple yet functional, allowing you to be more creative and just let your imagination flow.
Details
Front cover of the journal
100 colorful dotted papers
7 color codes to match the dotted page
Tutorial on how to add color pens in Goodnotes
Happy Things Dotties Digital Bullet Journal
Since I can write whatever I want in this digital journal, here are some of the things/topics I’ve written:
The Let It Go List
These are the things I want to let go of and as much as possible avoid in life. Things that add weight to my baggage, things that may seem overwhelming and too intimidating to face. Once you learn to admit your baggage and act on it, I know it will be much easier to be happy and productive.
My Top 3 Favorite Things
Initially I only put “My Favorite” but since I have 3 favorite ice cream flavors, I made it “My Top Three” list. It’s just like answering a slambook, but instead of answering “What is Love?”, I focus more on 3 things that I love per category.
Some Self-Care Ideas
This helps me to start a Self-Care routine by achieving little goals before I make it into practice. I don’t have to do it all in a day, I can just choose 2-3 ideas for today then another for the next day until such time I learn how to adapt and make it a part of my daily routine.
Quotes
I love writing down quotes, or atleast copying quotes from Pinterest (ofcourse with proper citation and credits to the owner). I love to see these motivational phrases that inspire me and how I interpret them because I know it will help me to have a better outlook in life.
Dear Future Self
I enjoy writing a note to my future self. Like a typical “Dear Diary” but this time all my entries and letters are for my future self 5 years from now. I bet after reading this on 2025 I’d laugh at some pathetic problems I have and some silly decisions made.
 Dear Diary
I had to include a letter to the present me, obviously. I like that I get to vent and/or share my thoughts to this journal without having to correct grammar, spelling nor punctuation marks. I get to express myself freely.
Weekly Plans
At times, pre-made planners can be stressful. The need to supply all information per week is already exhausting, and if you missed updating a week you feel unproductive, thus the start of planner-slump. This journal doesn’t require you to jot down your weekly plans, you have your planner for that. You can mix and match the templates you currently have and even the entries.
Inspiration Board
Sometimes, words aren’t enough to identify your goals. You need to visualize it. You need to see through images how you want to see the output of your goals. You want to take a sneak peek or a guide on what will happen if you accomplish your goals. You can add multiple images to create an inspiration board.
Sticker Book
You can also use this journal as a sticker book! The possibilities are endless!
Use this journal however you want. The cover has a faint yellow background and not transparent. The Journal cover on the overview of your note-taking app seems smaller compared with the standard notebook size.
amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0"; amzn_assoc_search_bar = "false"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "kymmiejournals-20"; amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "manual"; amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_title = "Recommended for Digital Planning"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "d32590cf1ecfb8dc160183928b74faf4"; amzn_assoc_asins = "B083R7Q7XG,B08245WJ42,B085M7V9RF,B08N5NZ4F5";

Digital Project Planner by The Pink Ink
This post contains affiliate links. If you take action (i.e. make a purchase) after clicking my affiliate links, I’ll probably earn a few bucks which will help keep this website running or just to buy a cup of coffee. You know I only recommend products that I actually use, love and trust, right?
Hey lovely!
As you probably know, we are in constant search of the perfect planner or that planner peace-feeling. Admit it, we all have different planners for everything! Some of us have 3 or more planners for every aspect of our lives, some have 2-3 just for school and some tend to stick to 1 planner but what's really important is how you plan.
Do you have a specific planner for your hobbies, what about your recipes, and how about your projects and random ideas? If you do, then read the whole article below!
When you purchase the Digital Project Planner, you will get 1 undated planner in PDF file format with hyperlinks to specific pages. What I love about this is how specific the pages can be, it helps you focus on planning the details of your project, timeline, and budget. The simplicity of it will allow you to personalize it however you want. This is perfect for business owners who constantly come up with several brilliant ideas at any time.
I know this is also perfect for students who have several projects and a thesis that needs to be planned ahead for weeks or months. I personally picked this one up because I have ideas that always slip my mind and I need a better system to help me get it done on time. If this is your cup of tea, then purchase The Digital Project Planner by The Pink Ink now or you can check out how I customize the pages below.

Digital Project Planner
Cover
It actually comes in 2 different colors, Blue Marble and Pink Marble which is pretty amazing! Ofcourse, I'd pick Pink.
Index
The tabs on this page are the same as the tabs on the side. These tabs are linked to a specific page, very easy to navigate!
Project Details
This page is for the overview of the project. Think of it as a little introduction about your project, what is it for, the necessary resources and tools, set a target date (if there's any) when do you intend to finish the project, you can also put the people involved and other information.
Brain Dump
You can go crazy on this page! All you have to do is to write or scribble down any ideas that pop to your head without having to think of the "design" or "grammar". Just fill this page up without any doubts.
Goals
This page helps you to envision what is the outcome of the project, what is the purpose of this project and how will it benefit you in the long run.
Plan
This page is where you get to write the specifics, such as meetings, emails to send, priorities, specific To-Do list, budget and tasks.
Timeline
Remember what I told you about the Project Details page is for? I mentioned that you can set a target date for when you intend to finish the project. Here comes the Timeline page, where you can set a realistic time frame of how you accomplish each task and what has been done already.
Calendar
A planner without a Monthly page, is not a planner. Am I right? If you have a long-term project, this page may come in handy. You get to track everything in a monthly basis.
Budget
The hardest structure for me is the budget because I always go over the estimated amount plus the ever-changing foreign currency. This helps you to track your expenses for a specific task and allows you to either splurge or cut costs just to stick to the total budget.
Action Plan
I consider this a Status page, where you can list down all your To-Do's and mark it as Complete, In Progress or Not Started.
Weekly
When there's Monthly, there's always a Weekly. Agree? This page allows you to plan your action steps for the whole week, or you can have 2 weeks since it has 2 columns of boxes.
Daily
The nitty-gritty. This Daily page has helped me so much as I can track how many hours I'm actually on my iPad that I forgot to have dinner or lunch. This is also the perfect page to put those 15-minute breaks or power-nap (just remember to set your alarm!)
Milestone
Just like the Action Item page where I treat it as a Status page. Milestone is actually focused on the outcome or finished tasks and how it helped you in the project. You can also put here what you have learned from each task and how you can be more efficient and effective.
Lists
A lined paper template to list all your To Do's, To Buy or make a checklist of anything or maybe just write notes.
Notes
A Note section which includes Dotted, Lined, Graph and Plain (Blank) paper templates for you to duplicate and use.
amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0"; amzn_assoc_search_bar = "false"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "kymmiejournals-20"; amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "manual"; amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_title = "Recommended for Digital Planning"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "d32590cf1ecfb8dc160183928b74faf4"; amzn_assoc_asins = "B083R7Q7XG,B08245WJ42,B085M7V9RF,B08N5NZ4F5";

magic trick
The Dash Planner's recommendation: is to use A4 for 11" iPad and US Letter for 9.7", 10.5" and 12.9" iPads
Kymmie's recommendation: is to use any size you prefer! I have a 10.2" iPad, there's a small difference between the two (A4 and US Letter). To compare them:
Compare A4 and US Letter size
1. Open 1 A4 Individual page and 1 US Letter Individual page on Goodnotes
2. Pinch the page
3. Alternately tap the window of each page to quickly compare
Zoom-in on the pages using Goodnotes
1. On Goodnotes, make sure you pinch the page to zoom out
2. Tap once on the page, it will remove the top toolbar and you will see the whole page on the screen
3. Double-tap the page and it will fully maximize on the screen
amzn_assoc_placement = "adunit0"; amzn_assoc_search_bar = "false"; amzn_assoc_tracking_id = "kymmiejournals-20"; amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "manual"; amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart"; amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon"; amzn_assoc_region = "US"; amzn_assoc_title = "Recommended for Digital Planning"; amzn_assoc_linkid = "d32590cf1ecfb8dc160183928b74faf4"; amzn_assoc_asins = "B083R7Q7XG,B08245WJ42,B085M7V9RF,B08N5NZ4F5";
 The Dash Planner’s Promise:
The Weekly Planner Page Bundle is something I came up with after creating the weekly planning page freebies. I wanted to create a variety of individual weekly pages, with different layouts, sections and features. By having a collection of weekly designs to choose from, I hope that people can find a layout that works perfectly for their needs. It also gives them the chance to change up their weekly page design whenever their schedule and planning needs change too.
I have been using a different layout each week, and I love the way it keeps my weekly planning fresh and exciting. Each bundle includes 20 different layouts, with most designs offering a Sunday or Monday start option. The files are optimized to be printed or can, of course, be filled out digitally in your iPad app of choice. I've also added fillable fields to the pages so they can be opened in Adobe Acrobat or Preview (on Mac) and quickly filled out via type.
The pages also come in 9 color option. I've added some neutrals (pink, tan and taupe) and I think they'd fit perfectly with everyone's aesthetic! If these pages do well, I hope to expand the collection with daily, monthly and yearly pages. I'd also love to do some themed sets for finances, business planning, goals, projects, etc.

Printable Mood Tracker by PricelessPlanners on Etsy
This post contains affiliate links. If you take action (i.e. make a purchase) after clicking my affiliate links, I’ll probably earn a few bucks which will help keep this website running or just to buy a cup of coffee. You know I only recommend products that I actually use, love and trust, right?
Hey, friend!
How do you use a mood tracker? What do you use it for? Is tracking your mood patterns effective for you? Whatever the reason is, I support you all the way and this is why I decided to step out of my comfort zone and discover how to utilize mood trackers.
I’m sure there are a lot of ways on how to track mood patterns, activities, and habits. I haven’t tried to use a mood tracker before, or if I did I didn’t stick to it, because I was too stubborn to wait every day for what I’m in the mood for. I’m the type of person who doesn’t want to see blank spaces or gaps in my journal and as much as I can, I tick all checkboxes in my to-do’s and make sure I do them immediately.
Although there’s nothing wrong with it, I feel that this behavior causes me to stress over the things that are out of control, or things that need ‘time’, and a mood tracker is best at that.
As soon as I get to work with Rebecca from PricelessPlanners, I didn’t hesitate to ask for her Printable Mood Tracker Inserts, it’s simple and functional, just what I need since I’m new to this.
The Printable Mood Tracker Inserts include 12 sets with different styles and charts perfect for your journaling. Once you download the file, you will receive 1 PDF with Dropbox links to download all 12 mood trackers, this means you get unlimited access to download the files when you need them. Each mood tracker style contains 12 months complete with dates and boxes for you to fill your colors. All files are in PDF format.

Identify your End-goal and Color codes
Let’s look at August first, I’m using the Balloon tracker. I use this for tracking my mood at work, and since I’m temporarily working at home it can be quite stressful because of the workload and constant meetings and training. This helps me to focus on one particular topic or aspect in my life, and I know this is efficient and effective for me so I’ll stick to it.
My color codes for tracking my work mood are:
Motivated – yellow
these are times that I’m inspired to get work done
happy to check and respond to emails
feeling fulfilled and productive
Agitated – red
when I worry too much or feeling stressed out
there’s just too many workloads and I’m drowning
problem with my colleague/s
Idle – blue
feeling lazy to the point I don’t want to do anything
bored or unoccupied
Indifferent – orange
neither good nor bad
neutral
rest days or vacation leaves
Did my codes bore or intimidate you? Don’t worry! You can use the basic ones like, Happy, Sad, Angry, and such. It’s really up to you!
Identify your process and resources
In this 2nd example, I am using Fairy Lights tracker. You can import the PDF file to Goodnotes or Noteshelf, or to any of your favorite note-taking app, and start decorating it.
As for me, since it’s Fairy Lights, I imagine that the colors will glow or sparkle on a dark or black background. To do that, I used Procreate to create the glow effect on the colors.
DISCLAIMER: You can customize or personalize this mood tracker depending on your style. The photos below shows how I modified the original Fairy Lights mood tracker.
I am using the Fairy Lights Tracker for Finance mood. In this way, I get to see the mood I’m in when I talk about money. Sometimes, people tend to become moody depending on their expenses, such as:
the excitement when you’re shopping or doing groceries
frustration when you know you don’t have enough and it’s still a week before payday
worried because you still have dues for the month and so much more, you have to explore more about tracking everything that’s important to you
Enjoy tracking your progress!
For July, I did some back planning and use the Leaves tracker for my Personal Mood tracker or just how the day went for me.
My color codes on tracking my Personal mood is based on the Autumn colors:
Productive – maroon
Frustrated – scarlet
Meh – auburn
Mood tracking is a positive psychology technique for improving mental health where a person records their mood, usually at set time intervals, in order to help identify patterns in how their mood varies.
Ready to track your mood patterns? Start now with these Printable Mood Trackers!

Dusty Pink Undated Digital Planner by Blushing Notes
This post contains affiliate links. If you take action (i.e. make a purchase) after clicking my affiliate links, I’ll probably earn a few bucks which will help keep this website running or just to buy a cup of coffee. You know I only recommend products that I actually use, love and trust, right?
Hey love!
I am so excited to share with you today's #GetPlannerFeatured post! Sophie from Blushing Notes is one of the many sellers who have reached out to me to participate in my little project which I call, Get Planner Featured. Sophie provided all the necessary details for me to start creating these beautiful spreads and I am using the Undated Digital Planner in Dusty Pink which is one of her newest designs.
She really put a lot of effort into making this planner better, by providing a simple, yet elegant and functional digital planner that helps you focus on your productivity and organization. When I received a copy of the planner, I stored it in my iCloud and was able to import it easily as a document in Noteshelf and GoodNotes, the two note-taking apps that I use on my iPad for digital planning.

Dusty Pink Undated Digital Planner
Cover
This is where you can personalize the cover of your planner with your name or any words or phrases you can think of. You can add a text using your favorite font or write whatever you desire on the planner cover. You can also draw some doodles.
Home or Index
The Home page has hyperlinks to corresponding sections, these are Personal, Financeand Noteslocated in the top part of the planner. On the right side are monthly divider pages. The tabs are clickable and help you to access different categories or months. You can even fully customize the tab by covering it with same color using Pen tool, then add a text or write whatever you want to call the tab.
Year at a Glance
On this page, you can mark important dates or anniversaries and birthdays without having to flip through each month. It's also important for me to track my regular monthly visits. I use the highlighter to color-code significant dates for this year.
Daily
For me, I use this as my Daily Journal to help me focus on the present and think of what I can improve for tomorrow. It also helps me to set my expectations within the day.
Monthly
I enjoy decorating monthly pages because I can track my schedule for the month such as rest days, vacation leaves, my work schedule or if there are bills to pay with due dates and tracking my monthly visitor! (You know this, ladies!)
Weekly
This planner also consists of 1 weekly page for each month where you can duplicate as much as you need. This also helps keep the file smaller for when you download it from the shop.

Income Tracker
Apart from the Expense Tracker in the Finance tab, you will also find the Income Tracker. You can use this tracker to drill down all your salary, sideline hustle pay, or tip. These paper templates are very helpful when you just want to start from scratch. It gives you the freedom to fully customize the page. This is also located in Notes tab.
Back Pocket
This is probably the most unique feature I have ever seen in a digital planner. Imagine it like the back of your planner which you can put receipts or letters. You can also treat this as your sticker page where you can paste all your favorite digital stickers or even favorite quotes or mantra.
In this example, I use realistic planner elements to create a stunning back pocket. The shadows help each sticker or element to pop.
Bonus: Color Codes
The planner also consists of color codes that you can use to rename your tabs and keep your writing uniform using the hex codes.

My Digital Planner Journey
This post contains affiliate links. If you take action (i.e. make a purchase) after clicking my affiliate links, I’ll probably earn a few bucks which will help keep this website running or just to buy a cup of coffee. You know I only recommend products that I actually use, love and trust, right?
Hello planner lovers!
I am back in the blogosphere, and I am so excited to share my newfound love with you, which is digital planning.
In 2017, I was a stationery-obsessed and a traditional planner which includes lots of washi tapes, sticker sheets, planners, clear stamps, ephemera, and so on but in the first few months of 2020, my planning and journaling style has changed. I upgraded my planning process and style with the use of an iPad and Apple Pencil as my new medium to take notes and do creative planning. I love how convenient and efficient it is for me because I get to bring my iPad everywhere I go. I just need a strong internet signal for when I need to download stickers or pictures from online creative marketplaces, but once I have it on my local device, then I'm good to go.
While my husband and I were preparing for our wedding last 02-02-2020, I got a brand new and shiny iPad 7th generation as a wedding present from him and I can't wait to get started. I bought an Apple Pencil 1st gen while we were on our honeymoon cruise. I've actually asked him for an iPad Pro but you know, planning a wedding took a lot of our time and money (we did a beach wedding, that's why!) and so here I am, happy to announce that this blog will be all about planners - the tools, techniques and so much more!
Although, on my birthday the same year, I bought myself a hard-earned and well-deserved treat - that is the iPad Pro 12.9”. My husband has been very supportive, so he purchased the Apple Pencil 2nd gen and Apple Magic Keyboard. I feel like a total princess on that day! 😂
Join me in this journey, by having the right tools and apps, the possibilities are endless! Here’s how to get started in digital planning.

Unboxing and Activating my Titanium Apple Card
Hello friend,
I recently received my Apple Card and I can’t wait to share it with you. You can check here on how you can apply for a FREE Apple Card and enjoy contactless pay.
So what exactly is Apple Card?
Apple Card is simply a credit card with lots of benefits. My favorite part of using Apple Card for my purchases is getting up to 3% cashback, meaning for every purchase I made, I’ll get real cash deposited to my Apple Cash card to use for later. Not points, but cash. I’ve tried my first purchase using Apple Card on the Pony-O website when I bought a patented hair accessory during the 4th of July sale and I kid you not, I got 2% cashback which is now stored in my digital wallet on my iPhone.
What makes it better is that there are NO fees, hidden costs, annual membership fees, late fees, not even foreign transaction fees which is super helpful since I do a lot of online shopping.
How do I use it?
If Apple Card is the tangible credit card, Apple Pay is the digital payment method. So, whenever you see an Apple Pay logo on your favorite website or online shop, then you can pay using Apple Pay / Apple Card.
Also, when you use Apple Card, you don’t even have to log in nor input your details on the checkout page because the information you’ve saved on your iTunes account will auto-populate including your name, shipping and billing information.
A titanium card?
The Apple Card comes in white color with titanium finish, it has your name, microchip and the Apple logo on front, then on the back are the Goldman Sachs and Mastercard logo. That’s it!
As of this writing, the Apple Card is only available for US residents, you can check here if you are eligible to apply for one. You can also check for more features here, and once you have your Apple Card, enjoy all the benefits you can get and enjoy shopping! Get the most out of your Apple Card by checking these How-To videos.
Enjoy the video!
In the video, I’ll show you what the Apple Card looks like and how to easily activate it using your iPhone. Give it a thumbs up and Subscribe!
the purple ribbon washi is not included, I used it to mask my name for privacy
