the senses shift last mindset is quietly ruining your journey
this whole senses shift last business has become a bit of a poisoned chalice. and i'm not saying that it's completely off the mark, it's not, but people take it and run in the entirely wrong direction. and when you're on the wrong track, no amount of speed is going to get you where you're meant to be.
so, now what it ends up doing is sneaking delay in through the back door.
like, okay, let's say you've ticked the box, signed the form, said "i'm in my dr," and then instead of just cracking on with it, you sit tight, waiting for the walls to turn marble white gold and the air to smell like the fragrance of jannah. and when that doesn't happen in five minutes flat, you say.....ah, well. senses shift last. i suppose it's still on the way.
when you do that, what you're actually doing is making waiting your state. we're past the point where you're assuming you're already there, now you're just assuming that you'll get there eventually, which means you're not there yet. and if you're not there yet, where are you?
right. still over here.
people in this community treat delay as if it's some abstract obstacle imposed by the universe or whatever system you subscribe to, alas, it is not an admin error or a queue in customs. it is entirely a you thing. it is you assuming it'll happen later, that it's not here now. that it's coming, but not arrived. and because you assume that, your awareness sits in the version of reality where you're still waiting.
it is entirely self-fulfilling, and you're dressing for a flight you've already missed.
the trouble is that people are pinning everything on the moment it feels different. they want the moment and the proof and the gut punch of realisation that comes along with it. but if you're chasing a moment, you're not living in the state, now you're just chasing it. you're treating the assumption as if it's a bet you picked, and now you're pacing the bookie's window to see if your horse came in, that's not how it works.
what's happening under the hood is: you affirm i am in my dr, and in doing so, you're placing your awareness there. like actually and practically because now that's where you are. and every time you come back to it, i am in my dr, you're reorienting. literally adjusting the wheel while driving. i hope. HOPE! you know that you're not waiting for something to occur, now you're just staying in line with what already is.
now, if instead, you go: "i am in my dr, but nothing has changed, so maybe it’s not working yet" then congratulations, you've booted yourself out of the assumption and back into the waiting room.
you're checking the post box for a letter you already wrote, signed, sealed, and sent to yourself.
this is what senses shift last should mean, that the feedback from your senses is often lagging behind the state you've chosen, and not because it's trying to punish you or teach you something. it's just a matter of where attention goes, your five senses are creatures of habit, they need a bit of time to catch up with what you've already internally accepted.
if you're standing around waiting for confirmation, you're doing what every beginner in this space does. you're treating the assumption as a request, not as the shift itself. you're assuming "i've affirmed, now the world will show me something." which is not how it works, the shift doesn't happen after the world proves it. the shift IS the moment you assumed. the rest is none of your business.
you think you're being realistic by saying "well, obviously it's not here yet, but it will be," but actually what you're doing is anchoring yourself to that very state of absence.
cause now every time you look around and say, it's not here yet, but it will be, you are doubling down on the idea that it's not here yet, not that it might be.
you're essentially watering the weed and then wondering why your flower bed is bare.
delay is not about time, nor is it about the universe putting you in a holding pen. your brain is dragging its feet. it's about you saying, i'll believe it when i see it, and then not seeing it, and then not believing it. and round it goes.
that's what delay is. it's a treadmill.
because you're literally not waiting for your senses. they are waiting for YOU.
this isn't a call for blind faith or performative cheerfulness or about pretending something's real until you're blue in the face.
you're understanding that awareness is the engine room, what you pay attention to IS what you affirm, and what you affirm is where you go.
so stop treating your senses like a litmus test.
it doesn't matter if you feel it. it doesn't matter if you see it.
it does not at all matter if the walls are still the same colour or your hands look the same. what matters is: did you say it? did you assume it? then that's it, and you're done, and now hold your line.
if you want to actually live in your dr, and not just sit at the platform waiting for the train to arrive, you've got to stop asking your senses for permission. so stop waiting for the fireworks, stop treating doubt like a weather system you have to brace for, your assumption is the state, your awareness is the shift.
now before the whole thing gets tied up with a neat little bow, we've got to address the panic side of things. because if there's one thing that really gums up the works, it's people thinking that their assumption isn't good enough, or isn't working, or that they've somehow done it wrong.
and once that line of thinking creeps in, the whole thing starts unravelling like a jumper caught on a nail.
so let's get this down plain and clear: changing your assumption is not akin to some metaphysical divorce proceeding.
you're not locked into one idea like it's a mortgage. you're allowed to, and in fact expected to, reorient. if you realise you've gone off course or gotten spooked by the silence, all you've got to do is pick a new line and keep walking. no bells and whistles, you shift the assumption, not the stars.
when you panic over whether or not the assumption is solid, or whether you've ruined the shift by having a bit of a wobble, you're playing hide and seek with your own reality. and not in a fun way.
you're the one with your hands on the wheel, right? and if you're constantly waiting for someone else to tell you it's safe to proceed, you're going to end up stuck at the lights until kingdom come.
when you fall into this pattern, the checking, the worrying, the outsourcing, what you're really doing is giving your power away to an imaginary tribunal. you're acting as if there's a central authority somewhere, monitoring your thoughts and stamping them approved or denied. there isn't, it's just you, always has been.
and yes, of course senses shift last can be comforting. especially for people who've spent years waiting, waiting to be seen, waiting to be chosen, waiting to feel different, waiting for a break, it slots right into the familiar groove. it says: don't worry, the delay is part of the process. you're doing fine. you'll get there. just trust this.
and it's tempting to cling to that, because in a world that runs on deferred gratification, it fits like an old pair of shoes.
alas, that comfort can turn into complacency, and then into passivity, and then into this soft-focus patience that masks what's actually happening, which is: you're sitting in the same place, hoping something external will do the heavy lifting.
but yet. shifting isn't something done to you, it's something you are.
you don't need to sit and twiddle your thumbs while waiting for confirmation.
nor do you need to wrestle with the question of whether it's happening.
you say it, and then you hold your line.
and if you wobble? if you slip? if the old assumptions creep back in? no need to light a candle or start over.
just drop the old one as if it's a bad habit and keep going. carry on as if.
that's all.

I actually swear on this, it doesn't matter who you are, how much symptoms you experience during each attempt, how you assume, also this post won't have any fancy or heavy words, to make this accessible for everyone.
I've hinted this before in my previous post. I named this "melt, mold and rise" method. This post will be in depth detail, covering every corner and doubt. It will feel like me walking you through shifting.
As the name suggests, this method is divided in three phases.

If you're a shifter, you're already familiar with what this entails. I just put a weird word to it, read ahead and it'll make much more sense.
What am i supposed to do in this step?
Shift in this reality. Don't reread that. sorry for the random cut off, but here is some important background you have to read before we move forward:
"If we were to ever talk about diagnosing the root of shifting "blockages" the first topic I'll bring up is that you almost always, attempt shifting here. So what happens is that shifting is no longer considered a multiversal travel in a snap but rather a ability this reality possesses. This reality is not your base reality but you sure do treat it like one. Sleep methods, dependent on sleep here. Awake methods focused on symptoms here. Subliminals, reprogramming your mind here. Without sounding like the biggest asshole for having shifted, all of these "precautions", "locking in", "robotic affirming" is the biggest most useless waste of time which only wears yourself out here and makes you lean into the hollow and grounded directions of this reality. This reality is not special enough to put it on this high of a pedestal. Are you telling me you can only shift if you please the terms and conditions of this reality? Let's save ourself the years of wait, seclude this reality, and your desired reality. Only you can grant mere realities the right of existence, through the key that is your consciousness.
Instead of satisfying realities, satisfy yourself. Instead of serving realities let realities serve you."
Tldr: the reason you're unable to shift is that you try to shift in this reality.
Why would I add this step if we are not supposed to do this?
We do have to get away from this reality. We simply move past this reality by adopting and completing the activities that we would do mindlessly while in desperation to shift, here.
What is the course of action in this step?
Affirm normally. Set an intention that you've shifted to your dr and make your brain go blank here. You can do this by focusing on the blankness behind your eyes. You can choose to repeat a mantra.. all the things you've heard and done before.
An important note to take: at this point, you've shifted out of this reality. Intention are direct instructions and firm decisions made by the consciousness. You can't argue with your consciousness.
Right at this stage you will feel resistance from your brain and body here. Do not get demotivated when your brain starts checking for symptoms, or when it demands proof.
With an intention you have certainty. Lightly rehearse the intention in your mind with confidence. Observe the struggle turning into acceptance. It will give in, once you don't give up.
This entire phase is only supposed to last for 3 minutes. You won't be keeping track of time. Time would have disappeared for you. For the sake of this post we are timing it.
This entire process would have last 3 hours. You shortened it by accessing your consciousness.
Now that you're not here...

Your awareness needs an outlet. Now that you've stripped it of the previous reality it was in its the perfect time to plug it in your desired reality.
You are there, but you will become aware of it in this step.
What is the course of action in this step?
Affirm, think, realise in whatever way you can:
"I have gained awareness in my dr."
Softly and gently guide your awareness to this reality. You don't force it because you have no reason to. At this point you're still in your dr, remember and hold onto that.
5 senses. Light visualisation. Adding context to how you ended up where you are currently in your dr. Twitch your fingers and toes as your dr self (< this is the premise of the "puppeteer method"), get ready to start your new day in your dr. You pick up your dr self from here. It's your territory now. You can drop the hyper vigilance if you'd like. Get comfy. It's alright if you acknowledge or excite over being there, just don't let that translate to excitement regarding almost touching the ground in your dr. The only logic that's valid in the multiverse are the actions your consciousness performs. We've intended we are in our drs. Don't invalidate logic.
You can start thinking like your dr self. It's up to you to determine if you're even thinking or you are just waking up groggy from sleep. Don't berate yourself or ever stop yourself when you think things aren't going according to plan. There is no plan. There is just plain and simple existence.
This phase should take you around 5 minutes.

࣪ ִֶָ☾. Rise. .𖥔 ݁ ˖
Reality will trigger for you.
If you have a "feeling" that you're not in your dr, bring up the intention with force, like how you would recall any other truth of basic nature; like how grass is green. so that doubts feel stupid for doing their job.
You can also have a conversation with your consciousness, as strange as it sounds, your dr self can be made aware of the shift by your consciousness therefore solidifying the shift in your dr.
You can also have a conversation with your spiritual guide or ... God.
It will all tie together when the idea of the previous reality feels more unreal. You don't have to get overly celebratory, overly emotional. When the intention bounces along the walls of your consciousness, the previous reality has no power against it, considering you don't let doubts strip you of your right to be in your dr.
Any other figments of negative emotions and circumstances will dissappear.
Once you get clarity of your own command, you'll realise:
You brought yourself here, and you'd realise here that all you needed was yourself to shift. Literally.
Since you've shifted here, we are not keeping track of time even on text because your time in your dr is indefinite and up to you... duh.

The code to shifting is intend through your consciousness (not through your brain), the brain has no role in shifting. Your awareness is the turn of the key to your dr. You don't even have to properly align with your dr, simply because you are already aligned since before you were even born.
Utilise consciousness and awareness, that's all you need to do. Now let's stop the discourse of how to shift, at least I'll stop from my side.
I highly recommend lengthening the method if it suits you, just whatever keeps you comfortable.
Also, go try this out right now in the bathroom. On the contrary you can even shorten it up.

Lucid Dreaming Mastery: Stabilization, Portals, and DEILD
I’ve been seeing so many of you finally having lucid dreams and I’m genuinely so happy for you guys ❤️❤️❤️. But I’ve also been getting a flood of the same question over and over:
“Why can’t I stay in the dream?”
A lot of you are struggling with stabilization, so let’s talk about how to counter that.
Lucid dreaming happens when your prefrontal cortex wakes up while the rest of your brain is still in REM sleep. It’s a weak balance your awareness is active, but your body and subconscious are still dreaming. The moment you get too excited, emotional, or hyper-aware, your brain risks either waking up completely or collapsing the dream entirely.So here’s how to ground yourself and make it last:
01▸ STABILIZATION
How do I remain grounded in a lucid dream
‣ Rub palms together to generate tactile friction.
‣ Observe your hands or an object note fine detail.
‣ Touch or li k textured surfaces to anchor presence.
‣ Spin slowly in place to reset the environment.
‣ If fading begins, touch the ground or kneel.
‣ Lick a surface to shock clarity into place.
‣ Perform the nose-pinch test every few minutes.
‣ State aloud: “Stabilize now.”
‣ Repeat: “Increase clarity.”
02 ▸ PORTALS
How to get my portals working?
‣ Choose symbolic transitions doors, mirrors, pools.
‣ Stand still and command:
This portal leads to [location].”
‣ Picture it with full sensory detail.
‣ Feel your body already inside it.
‣ Expect nothing less.

04 ▸ DEILD
How do I re-enter after waking up?
Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dream (DEILD) DEILD (Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dream) is a technique where you intentionally re-enter a dream right after waking up, without moving or opening your eyes. By staying still and relaxed, you can “chain” multiple lucid dreams in the same night.
Just because you woke up doesn’t mean you failed. Waking up is just a checkpoint not the end. You can always try again using DEILD that same night.Even in an awakening there is another chance to go back in. Stay calm, stay still, and re-enter.
‣ when waking up, remain still.
‣ Do not open your eyes.
‣ Recall the dream just lost.
‣ Visualize returning to the same dream
04 ▸ Stubborn Characters
How do I get dream characters to respond better?
‣ Treat dream characters as equals not fake things.
‣ Approach with curiosity, not control.
‣ Remember: They are projections of your subconscious. Act as you would in real life and be respectful
Do Not Announce Lucidity!!!

‣ they will become defensive, confused, or disengaged.
‣ Let the dream play out without ego intrusion.
‣ Use clear, simple language.
‣ Ask direct questions:

“Where is the right portal?”
‣ Use a warm dream tone. Tone dictates response.
What if the dream character seems dull or unhelpful?
Seek Higher Intelligence Within the Dream
‣ Some characters feel hollow—l glitch-like. Move on. Find one who holds presence.
‣ You’ll know them by their eye contact, tone, and detail.
These are the ones that know more than they should. Or find someone you know
How can I build trust in the dream space?
‣ say please and thank characters who help you. Your subconscious responds to appreciation.

affirmations not working for you?
something I've noticed — both in my own journey and others' — is that many people struggle with affirmations. they'll affirm and persist and actively try to reprogram their unconscious beliefs but see little to no progress.
if you follow the law of assumption, you'll likely hear that it's because you're living in the state of lack, or relying on 3D. this is more for those who don't feel that to be accurate, or feel frustrated with that aspect of the law / manifesting.
here's the thing — copying someone else's affirmations, actions, methods, scripts likely aren't going to help you, at least for a percentage of people.
some of us, like myself, need to have things come directly from ourselves in order for them to succeed. the most effective magic, at least for us, is the kind that comes from within.
while it's great to find inspiration in others, copying affirmations or methods or scripts won't be effective for (some of) us. think of it this way; if someone else's desires do not align with yours, how can their words bringing in their desires do so? if you cannot use someone else's exact prescriptions for the same diagnosis, how can you follow their treatment plan or lifestyle adjustments?
the reality is, manifestation and shifting are not stagnant like math. there is not a set formula nor set answers. what is 2+2 for someone else may not be for you. just like how someone else's go-to-guaranteed method may not work for you, their words might not either.
so what can we do instead?
if you find inspiration in someone else, think on it for a moment. ask yourself, how can you apply this to your desire? is this applicable to my desire at all?
take the inspiration into you, and find what it inspires in you. for example, someone may script: I am never cheated on. damn, that's a good idea, let me add that to mine, in my own words based on my own desires. I would then write; my relationships are loving, monogamous, and exactly all I desire and none of what I fear.
essentially, by putting things into your own words — your own energy, really — you are charging it with your own power. you are making a spell out of words, suited and designed specifically for you. it is made for you and made of you — and like calls to like, yes? you don't need to work towards a frequency or lifestyle that is made entirely of you.
so yes, find inspiration, but don't forget to put your own magic into it. don't recite lines like you're in a play — no matter how many you memorize, you're still playing a character. but when you write your own...then you are entirely, truly you.

how to reality shift
method one: pure awareness
for those who have never heard of it, the state of pure awareness is exactly what it sounds like: pure awareness, detached from the input of your 3D senses, a state where you are no longer grounded to the 3D. this means you will not feel your body, or any surroundings at all. for those who have already heard of it, you may have heard this referred to as "the void state" or "the void", (especially recently,) but i don't like this term as it implies that "the void" is some sort of place that you go to, and it's not. "the void state" is not somewhere you go, it is a state of being and experiencing that you become.
what is the state of pure awareness?
the state of pure awareness is just you. you are your awareness, and the state of pure awareness is just you, without the data and input of your 3rd dimensional senses distracting you.

why does pure awareness help with reality shifting?
when we reality shift, our goal is to find a way to trigger our awareness into a movement in the 4th and 5th dimensional directions. for some, this is easier to do when you are not distracted by the 3D. this isn't because it's impossible to shift while aware of the 3D! on the contrary, lots of people shift while totally awake and aware in the 3D, in either their CR, or their DR, or even both. but for most of us, our awareness is really used to and really comfortable piloting our 3D body here. so perhaps try getting into a state of pure awareness and see if that helps you trigger a shift.
i believe the state of pure awareness is natural, a side effect of the simple fact that the bodies we inhabit are 3D, and our awareness isn't. our awareness is not a 3D object, mass, or body part. you can't point to and say "there it is, that's human awareness." but in our current states, our awareness gets all this input and data about reality from a 3D body.
the reason you see nothing and feel nothing when you're in the state of pure awareness is because when your awareness is not focusing on input from your 3D body, there is nothing for your to "see", "feel" or "hear" and no body for you to see, feel or hear it with. those are 3D concepts, and 3D senses.
how will i know im in the state of pure awareness?
you will have absolutely zero input from your 3D senses. there will be nothing, and yet you will be totally and comfortably aware. that means if your body feels tingly, floaty, dizzy, fuzzy, etc you are not in pure awareness. if you see hallucinations, flashes of light, etc, you are not in pure awareness. if your thoughts are muddled, dreamlike, or confused, you are not in pure awareness. if things change or destabilize into a different dreamlike scene, you are not in pure awareness. if you can feel your 3D body in any way, you are not in pure awareness.
how do i get into the state of pure awareness?
there are many different ways to get into the state of pure awareness. if one way doesn't work for you, please feel free to try another or even make up your own way. now, technically, you don't need a method to do this. because the state of pure awareness is not some place we have to travel to or a locked dungeon we need a secret key to get into... it hypothetically is possible to simply instantly get into the state of pure awareness. ie, to completely let go of 3D distraction, and become pure awareness right now. so, first, i urge you to try it. like, actually. pause your reading, and try to become pure awareness.
did it work?
if yes, congratulations, you've done it! you don't need to read the rest of this, or maybe skip down to the 'troubleshooting' section if you're one of those people who can get into the state of pure awareness but finds they aren't triggered to reality shift from it, and just came back here without being able to shift to your DR.
if it didn't work, do not despair. i think you're fully capable of getting into the state of pure awareness, and it may start to feel more natural and happen with more ease with practice. for now, here are some pointers.

method 1(a)
meditation. don't let that word scare you off! i'm someone with adhd, and ptsd. in my past, meditation was always spoken about or taught to me in a way that was completely ineffectual for me. i thought meditation just didn't work on me. turns out, all i needed was a method that was accessible for me, and for someone to explain what meditation actually is in first place because it turns out, what i was trying to force my mind to do isn't even needed or isn't even what mediation is. so no wonder why it didn't work! i'm planning to make a much longer "how to meditate" series for those who struggle, but for now i'm going to be fairly brief. if it doesn't work, just move on to 1(b), or 1(c) for now.
step one: choose an environment. it's okay if there are distractions, but it may help you to pick the most comfortable environment possible, whatever that means to you. do you want to be alone? outdoors? in the dark? what position do you want to be in? etc.
step two: relax your physical body, if you can. however this might look for you. can't relax? hold space for your body to relax if it can, but don't force it. some people find it easier to physically relax if they first tense up as hard as they can, and then let it go. this is the stage where some choose to focus on their breathing, do a body scan, etc. once you feel you are relaxed enough, turn your attention away from your physical body. note: this does not mean that your physical body has to stop feeling sensations. your nerves and senses will continue to function, because they always do, and that's their job. that's okay. your goal is not to force your body to be numb and comatose because it won't be. if physical sensations come to your awareness, simply acknowledge them and let it pass you by.
step three: relax your mind, if you can. however that might look for you. keep in mind, this does not mean to "clear your mind" in the sense of having no thoughts at all. that's not necessary, and your brain is meant to think. begin to let it do that without you. that's okay. if thoughts come to you, simply acknowledge them and let them pass you by. it may help to focus your awareness on something in your imagination, while you allow your brain to think in the background. common ones are counting, visualizing thinks like smoke, light, or a rhythmic activity like swimming, walking, etc.
at some point during steps two or three, you may start to experience hypnogogic symptoms. they aren't the goal with this method, and you don't need to focus on them. if you feel them, that's okay, just acknowledge the sensations and let them pass.
struggling to let thoughts pass you by? it may help to take a similar approach with your mind as some do with the body, taking the "tense your body and then release to relax". "tense"/focus on each one of your thoughts, acknowledge it, and then let it go. if it helps, try to visualize (or create the idea of) a place to put them. this could mean floating them away into the clouds, placing them into a box, or tossing them off a cliff. whatever you pick, acknowledge you do not need to be aware of that thought or sensation right now, and put it away for later. it may help to visualize putting them all in there, and then closing the box or turning away from wherever you put it.
step four: pure awareness. for this step, i'm gonna ask you to pick one thing to focus on. your mind and body should be relaxed, with no sensations or thoughts distracting you, it's all just passing you by. pick one thing. it could be anything. a mantra (ie, repeating "i am" in your mind) counting, a visualization (a place, maybe an object, or a simple, repeating sensation like the sound of ocean waves or the feeling of breeze on your skin.) whatever it is, turn your full awareness to that. take as long as you need, revisiting steps three and four whenever necessary. is your full awareness on your chosen focus? great, now let it go.
one of two things will happen. either your awareness will let go and you'll become a state of pure awareness, or distractions will spring back up. let them if they do, it's okay. it may take practice, you may have to bring yourself back up and stop for now and try again another time, or you may be able to continue if you go back through steps two and three and make another attempt.

method 1(b)
hypnogogia. some people experience hypnogogia when they meditate, but this is not a meditation method. this method is for those who don't want to meditate but who naturally experience hypnogogia when they're waking up or as they're falling asleep. identify which you experience, and plan to make use of it the next time it happens. you can increase the chances of it occurring very simply, if you're someone this works for.
for as you're falling asleep: every night when you go to sleep, your body and mind fall asleep, and they actually do this separately. the next time you're going to bed, and you'd like to reality shift, just try to keep your mind aware. you don't have to do anything special, you can just let your mind think normally. to avoid falling asleep, just keep your awareness focused, rather than letting it slip away as you would when you are going to sleep. if you need something to help hold your awareness in your mind, try counting, or visualizing, or focusing on one minute sense (ie, the weight of your blankets, or the sound of the refrigerator buzzing from the kitchen.) just let your body fall asleep. you don't have to do anything in particular to let this happen. your body naturally falls asleep every night, just don't get in the way of the process and it'll do the same as it always does. at some point, your mind will still be awake but your body will begin to fall into sleep, and this is when you start to experience symptoms of hypnogogia. lights flashing, hallucinations, fuzzy or tingly sensations, spinning, dizziness, floating, etc.
for as you're waking up: basically the same as above, but do it right after waking up instead. if you struggle with letting your body fall asleep when you first go to bed, this method might help you. right when you wake up, your body is still fully of sleepiness, and it's generally much easier for your body to fall back asleep than it was to fall asleep in the first place. use that, relax, keep your awareness in your mind and wait until the hypnogogia symptoms start. (this one doesn't often work for me because i have ptsd, and when i wake up i often immediately jump into fight or flight mode, totally and instantly awake. if that's you, this might not be the method for you!)
once you're in hypnogogia: there are a few ways you can go about this, and you can try both.
try focusing on the hypnogogic sensations. these are not real 3D senses, and your goal is to get away from the 3D distractions, so chase them. stay in them as long as you can. this technique is kind of like following the white rabbit down into wonderland, except that it's your awareness following strange buzzy sensations and flashing lights out of your body. try this until the 3D completely falls away, and the hypnogogia falls away next, leaving you in the void much like the white rabbit ditched alice when she fell down that hole.
did the hypnogogia not fall away? don't panic, try technique two: manually let go of the hypnogogic sensations. let them pass. actually, avoid them. your arms are tingling? notice it, and shift your awareness away. body spinning? let it go. don't try to focus your awareness on anything, just let things happen while you focus on being aware.
eventually, you should become pure awareness. if you try a few times and can't, this might not be the best method for you. some people are overwhelmed or distracted by symptoms of hypnogogia rather than being able to use it to reach pure awareness. just see what works for you!

method 1(c)
lucid dreams. when you become lucid in a dream, you're almost already in the state of pure awareness. if you know about lucid dreaming, you might understand what i mean. you're lucid, and you're fully detached from the 3D. that's great, that's the pure awareness state, right?..... not quite, because of the "dream" part. in most lucid dreams, there is still that "dreamlike" quality. however, if you're someone who is able to lucid dreams often, and have the skill to stabilize your lucid dream, you can also develop the skill to dismiss the dream entirely. that way, you go from lucid dreaming, to just lucid. (ie, pure awareness.)
i won't go too deep into how to have a lucid dream here because there's so much to say (if anyone requests it, i might make a follow up later about how to lucid dreaming!) but for now, the relevant info is how to stabilize the dream, giving you the ability to dismiss it.
so you're lucid. awesome! now what?
first, perform reality checks to confirm that you are lucid dreaming. poke your finger through your hand. did it go through? you are dreaming. now pinch your nose, and take a deep breath. did you breath? you are dreaming. look for a clock, or create one. look at the time, look away, and look back again. did the time change? you are dreaming. look for a mirror, or create one. look at your reflection. are you dreaming?
continue using reality checks intermittently. i've found that people can be fully lucid, and then forget they're dreaming and lose control.
now to stabilize the dream. first, stabilize yourself. hold up your hands. how many fingers do you have? touch the tip of your index finger to each finger on your other hand as you count them. are there five on each hand? good. now press your hands together, palm to palm, and rub. can you feel it? great! clasp your hands together, intertwining your fingers, and then pull them apart. count your fingers again. still five on each hand? great, you're ready to move on.
now stabilize your surroundings. to do this, use each of your five senses. first, look at something and notice the details. is it colorful? is it clear? now listen. can you hear anything? what about touch, reach out and touch something. hold it in your hand, and focus on keeping it there. smell it, and then taste it. (it sounds weird, but it really helps.)
now practice dream control. that thing in your hands, do you still have it? if not, redo the previous step. if yes, great! now turn it into something else, change the color, or the size. now make your thing disappear, but on purpose. now make something else appear. then make it disappear. do another reality check. do you still have five fingers?
now to dismiss the dream. this might take a few tries, as your brain is dreaming, it will try to add things in, or take you into a new dream. focus on your awareness, and insist on staying aware while the dream disappears. it may seem easier to dismiss things one by one (ie, the walls, the floor, then your body) but in my experience this can make things less stable. try dismissing everything all at once, if you can.
did it work? confirm that you're in the state of pure awareness (see: how will i know i'm in the state of pure awareness? above.) are your thoughts clear, consistent, and in control? are you totally stable, with no risk of waking up or coming out of the state? if not, you may still be dreaming. if you realize you're still dreaming, just let yourself enter a new dream scene and repeat the step above.

what do i do once im in the state of pure awareness? how do i shift?
actually, there's a lot you can do! but this is a reality shifting post, so that's what we'll focus on. once you've confirmed you're in the state of pure awareness, you are no longer aware of any 3D at all. hypothetically, it's just as easy to become aware of your DR from there as it is to become aware of this reality. first, try just doing it. become aware of your DR.
did that work? if not, try some of the tools you'd use to trigger a shift in general, except now you're doing them from the state of pure awareness with zero 3D distractions.
relax. there is absolutely zero rush. time does not pass here the way it does in the 3D. in the 3D, we perceive time as passing linearly, but your awareness is no longer tied to the third dimension. you have no body here, and you are not attached to your 3D brain or mind either. relax in your awareness.
visualize your DR. i think visualization is one of our most powerful tools for reality shifting, and it's even better in the void with no distraction. remember, you don't need to create the whole world with the power of your mind. you're not creating the world, and you're not traveling there. you're already there, you're just becoming aware of it. focus your awareness on small things about your DR. i think it helps to choose a few that feel close, familiar, or very real. where are you? what's your name? what are you going to do next? what are you wearing? what do you always have in your pockets when you leave the house? your favorite piece of jewelry? what does it feel like?
repeat. this could be a mantra, counting, your visualization, whatever, just pick something, if you find that repeating is something that helps you.
now visualize the very moment you want to shift into. use your senses, but don't force yourself to use one that's not coming naturally, ie don't sit there thinking "oh no, now i have to think of something to taste-" let go. you, dear reader who is reading this right now, are you thinking of one thing you can taste? probably not. unless you're eating hot chips. your DR self doesn't have to try to focus on being there, you're just there. so what are you sensing? are you seeing anything? smelling anything? hearing anything? feeling anything? don't create these sensations, or force yourself to feel them, you're in the state of pure awareness and you can't feel anything anyways. just reach for them.
at some point, you should become aware of your DR. in my experience, you don't have to force yourself there and there's no "symptoms" of being about to be there, especially because if you're in the state of pure awareness so there's no 3D sensations at all. it may feel like a "blip" or like a "pull" or a "blink" or like a "shift", and then you're there.
troubleshooting:
i can't get into the state of pure awareness.
don't worry, it's not the only way to reality shift. if 1(b) and 1(c) don't work for you, consider waiting for my meditation guides to be out, or methods 2 and 3, or come up with something all your own. you do not need to get into the state of pure awareness to reality shift, it's just one method that helps some people.
i got into the state of pure awareness, but i didn't shift.
well, there's two possibilities here. either you weren't actually in the state of pure awareness (ie, you accidentally fell asleep, or into a dream, or you were in some other meditative state you mistook for pure awareness).... or you did shift. to here. when you're pure awareness, you're not aware of this 3D reality, so when you became aware of this 3D reality, that was you reality shifting to here. oops! it happens, you can try again. do you remember how it felt when you reality shifted here from pure awareness? what triggered it? see if you can use that, and try to reverse engineer whatever made you become aware of here, to become aware of your DR next time instead.
if it does not work, over and over, then the state of pure awareness may not be what helps trigger you to shift to your DR. try a different method!

all realities are created equal. there is no superior universe or reality, no place you cannot influence or outright change.
that includes this reality, your "original" or "current" reality. a lot of the time in the shifting community — and the spiritual / metaphysical community as a whole — we define concepts in a way to help us understand them, not in ways that show how they are in actuality.
when you think about the soul, there is no "original" reality — there is no one origin point, because they are all happening, all at once in every timeline. this goes even farther if you believe your reality shifts or diverges from every choice, even something as small as what words you decide to learn. we simply call it an original reality or current reality because it's the place where you remember starting of at.
you might be tempted to feel that your original reality is something insurmountable — that things here are fixed and unchangeable. that's not true whatsoever. there aren't any limits to what you can manifest, so long as you believe (or pretend you do).
here's how we can get rid of that separation within our minds — make a script for your CR. everything that you can think of — the health and longevity of yourself, family pets; your ideal career; re-writing your past; having certain degrees; making a certain salary; owning your dream home — absolutely anything. nothing is ridiculous or impossible, you just have to want it.
I'm making a script for my CR to help my subconscious realize that there is no difference between this reality and my desired ones. think of it like riding a bike — you start off with training wheels, and eventually you realize...this is easy, I can ride without them. it's the same with manifesting and shifting. I can easily change this reality...now I understand how easy it is to go somewhere else entirely. I understand that there's nothing different or special about this reality...so in turn I understand that my desired realities are not special or worth putting on a pedestal.

manifest shifting with this!!
this afternoon i was scrolling on tiktok and i came across a tiktok from a shifter sharing her tip for shifting. i don't remember who it was because i just watched it and scrolled for like 15 minutes more and then realized i should have saved it (please if you recognize the person, can you share her tiktok??)
she was giving us homework which was about acting every hour as if we just shifted, and so we explore our emotions, feelings and act as if we were in our dr at this exact moment
and after scrolling i decided to give it a try because it's basically manifestation!
imma tell you it's SO useful! It's the first time i do that seriously, really doing it the best way possible. i did it so well that i actually had thoughts (not made up by me to manifest you know) about me having shifted. It was literaly as if i had shifted.
what i did was lying on my bed on my side in whatever position it could be as if i was waking up from a long night. i opened my eyes and imagined in front of me my enhypen poster instead of my world map. and i starting to process what happened

i got up, did a reality check, looked at things that would be replaced by other things in my DR (for example my alarm o'clock isn't the same and there's my phone next to my bed) and i touched them. then i went to see myself in the mirror, still not being able to process what just happened, and touched my face, my hair, looked at them in detail
after that i looked for my clothes in my cupboard and was like "there's only two days before i move to south korea and i won't bring much there" (because there i'll be a yonsei student and will buy new clothes there)
i did it for a while, it felt so surreal, i could literally feel the feelings of me having shifted and processing what just happened
this wasn't just me doing my homework, i was SO into my visualization and manifestation that now i stopped doing it i still feel like i'm there (because i am lol)
and i'm going to do it again since it's been an hour! Let's do my homework again hehe
You should really do it too, it's visualization, it will end up manifest/shift you to your dr!

experiences shifting to Hogwarts

I've shifted multiple times — rarely to my scripted DRs, but I've shifted dozens of times to realities similar to them or within the potterverse. here's some of my experiences! a lot of them vary since a majority of the time, I'm not shifting to scripted places. @elegantcath; @butterycroissant; @etheriaaly

I'm a slytherin, so this is very much based around my experience in that house along with the perceptions regarding it. it definitely does impact my relationships with people and the professors. my DRs are also University DRs. remember, I most often shift to random realities and not to places I scripted, so there can be some variation in how things work.
about hogwarts
the first week of lessons of first year are quality-of-life lessons. think warming charms, the summoning charm, locking and unlocking (especially important for the students who share dorms), reparo, stuff you would need on a daily basis or for basic survival.
I scripted that we use Floo Flames within Hogwarts to get to different floors and corridors and our common rooms efficiently. you basically just have to put your hand in and name a corridor you wish to go to, and you floo there instantly. the best part? no mess! since you're just putting your hand in, it's easily brushed off. no soot or floo powder sticking on you all day. problem? you still have to walk to Hogsmeade, unless you're physically disabled. if you are, you get to floo through Headmaster Dumbledore's office — but you have to be escorted with your head of house.
the uniforms and robes are spelled to be extremely long-lasting. they don't fray or degrade where regular clothing might. they're also magically tailored, so they grow or shrink based on your size. there's no need to replace them, but many opt to as a show of wealth.
I scripted that I have my own dorm room since I'm autistic and need alone time. some students can pay a higher tuition to be alone or pay a lower one to share a dorm. there are also accomodations for disabled students.
there are hampers in the dorm rooms! I'm not sure if there's one per bed in the shared rooms, but there's definitely one in my solo room. they're spelled to be "bottomless" so you can shove all of your clothes, your sheets, your comforter in without problem. at midnight every night whatever's in there is sent to be washed by house elves and delivered back in the morning. I think there might be an option for "housekeeping" where the house elves change your sheets, but I prefer to keep others out of my room as much as possible lol so they just put my sheets on top of my trunk and my clothes in my wardrobe.
I've shifted to multiple realities where they have different dorm and common room configurations. in my DR, it's simply long corridors of dorms connected to the larger common room. the hive configuration: there's a main common room, which acts as the heart of the House. it's very large and spacious, with plenty of ways to entertain oneself. it's almost like a large ballroom. then there are smaller common rooms that are connected to dorms, laid out like honeycombs. there were 5 individual dorms connected to the smaller common room, where there was a kitchen and shared bathroom. this was the "living room" of the hive for the people whose dorms were attached to it. it's kinda like there were little houses within a larger house. the winding configuration: like how the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw towers go up, this configuration for Slytherins winds down. it's like a spiral staircase of rooms. the maze configuration: I hated this one with my whole soul. if I ever shift there again I will be shifting back immediately. I won't bother exploring. I don't think it can get worse than this. the maze configuration is some awful mix between the maze in the triwizard tournament and the moving staircases. it's awful and so easy to get lost. it's interesting in that there are false walls so if you accidentally make a wrong turn, you can find your way back, but you're probably not going to figure out the floorplan of that until you're in your 7th year. I think it's a way to enclose a large amount of rooms within a small space. I'm not sure if the different floorplans of the maze correspond to different years, but I....there's no words for it. the only benefit of it was there was a large spa-like room if you could find the heart of it. it was like the prefect's bathroom but better. almost like a hot spring.
there's two ways that the dorm rooms change by year that I've encountered; a longer explanation; the first years are always closest to the common room. as you reach different years in your education, your dorm room will move down (or slide down if it's the winding configuration, or move out if you're in the hive configuration) to make room for the first years. there's no structural change to your room or even the area surrounding it. it looks no different than it did before, there's just a new number of doors you have to pass before you reach yours. there's only been a couple of times where there was an elevator for the dorm rooms, with each year on a different level, but generally it seems it's just a walking game. simple explanation; the dorms spread out from the common room like dendrites do a nerve (or the fingers do a palm), so the students in a house are spread evenly through the "fingers", so the walk isn't that long. the first way the years are separated are through flooring. there's a staircase where the different landings correspond to different years. the second way I've seen is they simply move down in a line, meaning a longer walk.
I'm like 90% sure there's an amplification spell cast on the podium where Dumbledore gives his speech and the frog choir performs.
the benches in the great hall have warming charms on them in the winter. I'm not sure if this is a natural feature of Hogwarts or if someone who came before me charmed the bench. they are still definitely uncomfortable.
the robes are not insulated; instead, we use warming charms! I love putting warming charms on ear muffs.
hogsmeade and the hogwarts express
I've only managed to get to Hogsmeade once. it was a completely accidental shift to a reality where I hadn't even considered shifting to at that time — Hogwarts Legacy. Sebastian, Ominus, and myself were sitting in a corner booth at the Three Broomsticks. the most I can share from that experience was that Sebastian sprayed whipped cream on my butterbeer, so I guess you're meant to put it on by yourself? I'd order it without whipped cream anyway so I'm not sure if it would come with or if you're meant to put it on yourself.
the glass in the hogwarts express frosts over when someone is getting dressed. people don't usually go to a bathroom to change, they just change in the compartment. people of different sexes usually wait out in the hallway. tbh this is what I always pictured when reading the books so this may be subconsciously scripted.
the hogwarts express magically accommodates the people on board. there's always just enough compartments and just enough train carts for everyone — though it won't go out of its way to make a new compartment just so you don't have to share.
general wizarding world facts
each wizarding school has a magical tome that lists out the students who are able to enroll at the school. there are multiple different ways to qualify for enrollment; location-based, where you're within the country or countries the school represents; legacy-based, where one of your ancestors within a certain number of generations attended the university or if you're a descendant of someone notable like Merlin or a Founder; sponsor-based, where someone of recognition has recommended your enrollment to the school
places where there's a lot of muggle-traffic like King's Cross have limited repello muggletum cast within a certain range of places of high wizarding-traffic, like the entrance to Platform 9¾. since it's so limited, it doesn't keep muggles from walking near the area, it instead forces their attention away from it. this is how there are wizarding entrances in muggle places while still maintaining the statute of secrecy. as soon as the entrance is within eyeshot, something happens or something catches the attention of the muggle. it's basically just a blindspot.
I scripted that there are multiple schools throughout the wizarding world to make up for the lack of foresight in canon, but interestingly, there's the same amount of "main" universities like Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, and Hogwarts, but there are smaller ones that I would relate to community colleges in America. this could be subconscious scripting based on my college experiences in this reality though.
the bathrooms are always charmed to be clean, at least in Hogwarts. there's still a need for maintenance, but there shouldn't be any terrible smells or grime.
I scripted that the fashion in the wizarding world are more aligned with Game of Thrones and general medieval wardrobe. I just really adore the look and tbh I like it more than just plain robes. there are a lot of what I assume are preservation spells on the clothing, so many are passed down through generations for special events. they're not nearly as strong as whatever preservation spells are put on school uniforms, but that's probably to keep low-income families in mind re: schooling where it wouldn't really be thought of in fashion since that's where the rich flaunt themselves.
this is really niche and I'm not sure if it applies to every reality, but if you put the tip of the broom to your mouth and blow, special features can appear. sometimes there are hidden foot pedals or even handlebars!
there are different forms of magic based on culture and ethnicity. indigenous magic is very different to the magic you'd see in Harry Potter. e.g. runic magic. the magic in Harry Potter is kinda the "standard" set globally. this is probably because of colonization. I view it as being like a common tongue for the wizarding world.
spell experiences
using the duplication spell wandlessly feels so cool. it's kinda like you're pulling the edges of whatever you're multiplying in two different directions, and a second item magically forms in the middle! kinda like pulling something out of a mirror.
lumos solaris is a variant of lumos solem. if solem is the beam of light, then solaris is the star itself. it's completely heatless so there's no danger other than possibly blinding yourself. you can "throw" the star up into the sky and it'll shine down as though it were daytime. I dunno if it's a canon spell or one just in my realities.
aguamenti can go wrong very quickly. try to think of the pressure you're trying to conjure when you cast it.
accio is not instantaneous. you can feel like a fool sometimes while you wait for whatever you're summoning makes its way to you.
lumos has different levels to it depending on what you ask for, and I'm not talking about maxima. if you think of the amount of light you're meaning to conjure, it can be as soft as a reading light or candle.
scourgify and tergeo are going to be your best friends. they are the clumsy's greatest tool. they're both cleaning spells, but you can use scourgify more generally and tergeo to collect or remove. so if you spill something expensive like ink, you can use tergeo to collect the spill and deposit it back to the inkwell or pen. you have to be careful though, because if you're not intentional about wanting it to return to where it was spilled from, you can accidentally vanish it entirely.
sonorus sometimes sounds like talking over a loudspeaker lol. it can be kinda difficult for me to keep my train of thought when using it because the difference is so drastic.
a lot of parents use arresto momentum. like more than you realize. instead of "parent reflexes" where you catch the kid, you spell them into safety. I've had to use it entirely too many times (I trust my cat's ability to land on her feet far less than she does).
incarcerous doesn't have a definite way of binding something or someone. I can't tell if it adapts based on the caster's intention or if it depends on the environment. I have seen people use it to make macrame pot hanger. there are probably better spells for artistic things like that? but in a pinch, I suppose...
you can control the size of the object you're casting diminuendo on. I like to use it on stuff I'm not supposed to have lol or I don't want people to see. I had to cast it on my journal quite a few times.
I can personally do spells without incantations, just intention. I'm not sure if this is common? but it's something I can do. I didn't even bother looking up the incantation for the warming charm, I did it as soon as I shifted because ITS FUCKING COLD IN SCOTLAND and I don't handle the cold well

here's something you're probably not considering in your shifting journey — you've more than likely already gotten memories from your DR.
anything you've "randomly" gotten the idea to add to your script? that's a memory you've "downloaded" or channelled. you've briefly connected to your DR and absorbed a memory from it.
these can be headcanons for the people in your DR (e.g. Remus likes to wear rings in my Marauders DR. he constantly fidgets with them. he and Sirius constantly share and swap rings.); they can be little rules that make you feel more secure in your life there (e.g. you never experience infidelity in relationships); it can be anything at all!
for my fellow control freaks and ocd-havers, you're probably getting downloads of your life from "canon" rather than from you DR. why? because if you were to have memories from your DR, you'd either be focused on forcing them to happen sooner than they would, or you would be actively trying to avoid them.
I personally receive more downloads about what my life would be like in the various forms of canon (tv, books, movies, etc) and fanon — what the media would be like with me in them naturally as a character, without my scripted protections, and the public's reactions to them.
this is my spiritual team's way of giving me that connection to my DRs and my families within them, but still keeping me from being able to fall into my controlling or perfectionistic tendencies.
I'll make a larger post about the downloads I have both from my DRs and from the canon of whatever media they're based on later.

I saw your comment about your hogwarts experience and the way things work, and it made me realise that I still don't fully believe in shifting because I was so shocked about how detailed your description was and how REAL it sounded. It's like I still haven't accepted that shifting is real and these are things people experience and so reading such an honest description blows my mind.
How can I fully believe? Sometimes I feel like everyone is making it up and I really don't want to feel this way anymore 😭

I'm glad you found my comment interesting! I'll definitely make a full post about my Hogwarts experiences — including shifts that weren't to my DR but to realities like it. it'll be interesting to compare them one day!
As for believing, the best thing I can recommend is to rewire your thought patterns and belief by affirming positively whenever you happen to think negatively. since your brain doesn't know when you're doing something ironically or saying something without actually believing in it, your brain eventually rewires to naturally include those actions and thoughts. it's like how you start doing a joke ironically with friends, and then you actually start enjoying it.
you can read more about this here. you should go through my masterlist, because I have a few posts that could really help you, both in shifting to your DR and gaining confidence and appreciation for the successes you've already have (and are likely discrediting).
you really don't need to believe in order to shift. many have shifted without knowing what it is and shifted unintentionally. you just have to try.
you should look into the law of assumption if you haven't already, because I feel like that has helped a lot of people feel more confident in the fact that shifting is real. I consider manifestation to be a subset of shifting, as it is actively altering the reality you live in. when you learn how to and master altering your reality in small ways, you feel much more steady in the belief that you can shift to a new one entirely.
the best thing you can do for yourself is learn how to remove other people from your shifting journey. the moment you stop letting other people influence you is the moment you are most truly free.
