headcanons for the d6 doves!! Even though nobody asked for them but whatevss

• So They were all around the younger side, Wellie being 12 (pretty sure that's canon) Velo and Miles being 13 and Atread 15, but like just turned a month or so.)

• They were probably all very sweet kids, but them being absolutely terrified in this situation (totally justified obvi) made them a bit skittish, also probably the real reason why they said they'd stay neutral.

• Velo was a bit of a snarky girl when she wanted to be, she was also the most distant to Haymitch at first but she quite quickly warmed up.

• Hay was def an older brother figure to Wellie, Velo and Miles. To Atread it was more of a "I'll just Join in" situation-maybe turned crush. Like, in a celebrity crush way.

• Wellie saw Miles' and Velo's bodies at some point during the bloodbath. And Atread had to pretty much drag her away because of how much it terrified her.

Ryan:

Ryan i feel like his family members were all very kind, obviously a lot like him so i think that they were all quiet and raised him to be like that to avoid trouble and protect him. He probably takes care of his younger siblings a lot. Not because his parents can't do it themselves, but because he genuinely doesn't mind whenever he's not busy! He likes helping out.

I don't think that when he got reaped he had a partner. I feel like if he did have one he would maybe be less chill? He definitely has had a gf before but not at the moment.

Midge:

i think her family was a pretty small, maybe one or two siblings but nothing like Ryan. I feel like while her family was lovely, they didn't really understand her due to the rest of them being "normal" and she's... Midge.

She also lowkey gives me single parents vibes and that her now-deceased parent was a lot like her.

I think that she never was really interested in dating, she preferred doing magic tricks and wandering at night.

Kerna:

She probably has a few siblings, like three? Feel like they're all older and one is already over 18 and probably moved out and married? Maybe

Anyways she probably has a very kind family. Maybe a tad bit over protective but very soft and sweet with her.

I can see her having a boyfriend when she gets reaped. But due to her being so young it probably wasn't anything serious. She probs forgot he even existed after she got reaped 😭😭.

Clayton:

We've talked about him but i kinda wanna get a bit deeper in his problems. Because for someone so young those things are pretty bad.

I feel like his parents were always a little distant. Not fully mentally there. And when he started 'rebelling' they kinda just stopped.

I think that he has definitely started stealing long before his more serious problems came along. I think that he definitely has a lot of anger towards his parents and probably also towards himself. But he obviously had no healthy way to cope with it, probably damaging his mental health a little.

He probably started stealing when he was 12, fighting people when he was around 13-14 and drinking/smoking when he was 15

He probably has a situationship with some random ass man 💀. Not really helping his mental health either.
