To me, Veronica Sawyer is the perfect heroine in a work of fiction. She’s not too overly girl-bossy, but she’s not a damsel in destress either. She allows herself to be romanced by Jd and even goes a little bit darker than a typical heroine would. She leaves her toxic relationship and realizes her mistakes and ultimately fixed her problems herself. She is not annoyingly self righteous either, she walks the line between hero and villain, which I think is really for a character.
