Fun fact, this was the very first pic and moment I ever said out loud, “Who’s Lady Gaga?” I was scrolling through the iTunes Store on my iPod Touch and boom—I was hooked. First came the song, then the music video, then Poker Face (which I remember leaking around June/July that summer on Limewire 🍋‍🟩)

Then The Fame dropped in August 2008 iconic. Fast forward to the 2009 VMAs, I saw “Paparazzi” (aka her performance) and was like WHOA. Not long after, I came across a demo of this song called Bad Romance on Limewire mid-September 2009 and thought, “This sounds cool…” Then in October, I found the final version on YouTube, and watched the music video after an episode of “The Vampire Diaries and the guest star (Lady Gaga Episode) of Gossip Girl” on The CW and BOOM! I was fully obsessed. I became a Little Monster overnight, and I’ve never looked back.

The Fame Monster was my first ever CD album I ever bought on my own. I purchased it in late November at Target and later that night I went to a birthday party and played the CD there at the party it was so fun. And then later I got the Lady Gaga heart beats headphones by dr.Dre black ones they were so cool! Then came 2010 and the iconic Telephone Music video in summer and then Lady Gaga won the vmas 2010 award after award after award at the end of the show she announced the name of her new upcoming record “Born This Way” and then later that year in November she came out with Alejandro in late 2010 she continued on her monster ball tour and I remember hearing her speech (born this way speech) and that just changed my my life realizing we are all human and we need to be kind to one another and I need to not care what people think about me because I am who I am.

Later in February 2011 she released her song and title track “Born This Way” I was not psyched about the song at first and thought it was basic pop (for lady Gaga) but then I learned to love it and released I need to love myself and how important that message was and not care what the world or anyone thinks. The next single was Judas of April 2011 right before Easter weekend and whoa that song blew me away just like Bad Romance! and then she came out with the music video and the song in the music video made me realize that she wasn��t just making pop music. She was actually making true art and using metaphors to speak through pop culture, which was really interesting to me and still is. She then released on May 9th 2011 the song the edge of glory. I remember it was rainy in West Jordan Utah that day and it was also my dad‘s birthday. We were getting famous Dave’s for my dad‘s birthday dinner and I remember listening to it for the first time in the car parking lot while my dad went in and got his order pick up and I was looking at the rain and driving home the entire time listening to that song. And the second I got home I went on the trampoline and jumped up and down in the rain.This Song is so special to me and not only because it makes me think of rain in a positive way it makes me feel incredibly happy. The message that I heard Lady Gaga kept repeating in the song was saying that life is a journey and you celebrating life is the glory of it. And I also took it as when she kept repeating at the end of the song “I’m on the edge with you!” Meaning she was saying to her fans I am with you and you were with me and I’m not gonna give up on you because being yourself is the greatest gift to the world. That song makes me feel very happy every time I listen to it I did later find out in an interview that that song was about Lady Gaga’s grandfather, and she wanted to make an upbeat song because his life was glorious because he made it to end of life like I did it! And how glorious life can be. Later that month she released a song right before the album dropped called “Hair” this song is also very special to me because it taught me about the first time to learn about identity and how identity is a very huge part in growing up. When the album came out me and my sister went and purchased the album together and listened to It in her car we noticed it was very influenced by electro rock and 80s pop and I started listening to the album more and more, and I found in love with it just as I did with the fame monster. The next single from that album was later in the summer called “You & I” more of a rock pop country song. It was not my favorite, but I did learn how versatile Lady Gaga can be with her artistry and music talent. At the end of the year 2011 November she released the final single from born this way, which was “Mary the night” marry the night is a very special song because it is saying do not give up on yourself or give up on your life, which was the first song of the album and then it ends with the edge of glory and how it shows if you don’t give up on yourself life can be glorious so always be yourself never give up on yourself because you and your own life is a glorious feeling. then came 2012. She toured on the board this way ball and she unfortunately later broke her hip. She did tease, though in late spring of 2012 If I remember correctly, she teased that the next follow up album was going to be called “ARTPOP” And we little monsters waited for a whole year then came 2013. I graduated high school in early June and we knew art pop was coming very soon. Lady Gaga also made an announcement in July 2013 that she is going to release the first single in August 2013. She did really sit a bit early due to leaks, and she also performed the song at the opening of the VMAs. I remember hearing the song for the first time and again I fell in love with it because of the electro EDM club sounds “Applause” was the name of this song. After she performed at the VMAs, it was told that she was going to perform all brand new songs. 

Lady Gaga has been my #1 ever since. Always a Little Monster at heart. Thank you Lady Gaga for your amazing art and music and your message of kindness to the world truly an iconic legend. 💜💕

ARTPOP Act II 🔵

I totally get where Lady Gaga is coming from.

She's saying that ARTPOP Act II isn't completely off the table, but it wouldn't happen the way fans might expect. She's not just going to release a collection of old, unreleased songs because fans want it, and I really respect that. Instead, if she were to revisit the concept, it would have to be a fresh, intentional project that reacts to the current moment, just like how ARTPOP was such a product of its time. While she's not ruling it out entirely, it would need to feel relevant and purposeful, rather than just fulfilling fan expectations. So, while ARTPOP Act 2 isn't impossible, it's unlikely to be what fans envision. But like she said, it's not NEVER or IMPOSSIBLE... it just means she'd need to get back into that EDM headspace and artistic mindset again So, we'll just have to wait and see what the future holds for ARTPOP. But ARTPOP truly changed my life and so many others, it makes us wanna dance and it energizes us to keep going in life and not give up on ourselves or our struggles. Electronic dance music truly is so powerful! And I think Gaga knows that and understands that. Maybe DWS can come back or even Cirkut can come and make a brand new EDM album who knows, but for now, we'll wait and see for ARTPOP Act II, We love you, Gaga! #ARTPOP forever!! 🔵💜🎶

ARTPOP will make a comeback one day she will revisit this amazing genre of electronic dance music
