Political Science project focuses on World Heritage Site protection for Georgia landmark

While sites like Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Canyon have the luxury of being protected from threats of infrastructure development and mining, others like Georgia’s Okefenokee Swamp are at risk. To help the landmark become a World Heritage Site, LC Political Science students gathered data they shared with advocates at the state and federal level.
