hello! i kinda assume you don't check this blog anymore and may never see this, but if you do i wanted to say thank you for leaving your fics up on ao3. i only got into homestuck recently and your writing is far and away my favorite of any other fic author i've read - the interactions you wrote between pairings most people seem to not really consider is so fun, you capture the characters' voices and dynamics so well while also writing very touching scenes. i hope that wherever you are and whatever you've moved onto that you're doing well!

Hi & ty for the kind comments - I came back to Tumblr a few years ago but am no longer involved with hs fandom, my main is at @highway-to-the-bi-way. I don't plan to write hs fic or use the LandOfMistAndSecrets account again, but I do plan to leave the account up indefinitely. If it ever does disappear you can go ahead and assume I either got published and something in the pipeline for that demanded it or someone doxxed me and I burned everything going to ground! Hope you have a good one and thanks again for the nice comments. I'm proud of the fics I wrote back then, they really helped me process a lot of trauma and I hope others get something out of it all too. ❤️

This is @stormsbourne's boy Rowdy. I got to visit last weekend and hang out with him, he is basically my nephew. A bunch of ppl once sent us $$$ to help pay for his cancer surgery, so fyi, he is still doing great and cancer free. And I love him. ❤️

Please never delete this blog. This, along with the blogs of most other people who were in the strilonde fanjam stuff, is one of my go to places to get old hs fanart from before everything with epilogues happened. It's really nostalgic to just see what people made back then. Also thank you, for everything you did and wrote back when this blog was active. You are a really good and creative person and I still love your hs stuff.

Thank you - I still don't intend to delete any of my stuff. For all the bad things about my time in this fandom and the way this particular story ended, I do firmly believe that the stuff we loved about what we loved was all real in the end because we made it that way for ourselves.

here’s the thing. if a piece of media’s only redeeming quality is that it has a lot of diversity and no good writing, no good character development, no good plot...i don’t really want it. i shouldn’t have to settle for scraps just because it comes in the flavor i want.
