As someone who’s been chronically online for over a decade on various platforms and accounts, the online left is easily the least useful means of activism when it stops at online advocacy. It’s always prone to infighting, be it trans gender wars, ideology wars, or cultish ingroup/outgroup behavior.
Best we can do is call it out, but at the same time disengage when it’s unproductive.
We gotta remember, the real enemy is fascism, not our allies.
As a trans woman, girls, sometimes y'all need to shut up and listen to trans men. They also face a lot of discrimination in various areas that we don't.
Likewise, trans men, sometimes y'all need to shut up and listen to trans women. We face a lot of discrimination that you don't.
Both need to 100% listen to non-binary and intersex people. The amount of hatred I've seen from trans men and trans women toward enbies and intersex people is staggering. I'm really starting to see what all the jokes about the average tumblr user's reading comprehension are about. Some of y'all cannot see past your own identity and the discrimination you face.
Little secret, cishets don't like *any* of us. All of us should be free to speak on our own experiences of discrimination *without* the other groups dismissing, belittling and patronising us. We are all degenerates in the eyes of society and the only way we survive is by listening to eachother and caring for eachother as a collective.
Nobody else in the trans or intersex community is your enemy. We all have bad apples, but broadly we are all in this together and I really don't see why trans women can't understand that trans men face discrimination and I really don't get why trans men can't do the same.
Why are you tearing into your closest allies like this? Why are you reducing the chances that any of us survive? Accept that sometimes, you aren't the affected party and own up when you make mistakes.

I don't have the energy anymore to rewrite this post in a less angry way so you'll just have to take it as it is.
I honestly can't believe American "leftists" are out here arguing if trans men/mascs deserve to be included under the trans umbrella while also ignoring every single nonbinary person and anyone who identifies with multiple genders and just generally being intersexist while
THEY FUCKING BANNED PRIDE IN HUNGARY
My country is losing it's basic human rights left and right and y'all are creating more infighting and falling for psyop bullshit more than ever before
Literally no one I've met in this country who isn't a straight up a transphobe thinks like this. Because we DON'T have the time for it! We have these serious real issues and you guys act like you can argue your way into human rights with each other, but all you are doing is reducing the theoretical part of what rights are actually until the current conservative fascist status quo is somehow progressive and leftist. I feel like I'm in an asylum when I see y'all argue this shit.
Please for the love of everything just look outside your bubble for once and try to support human rights in other countries as well. Our economy and currency is poopy shit so if you were to donate with your money it would be a lot more worth it.
I recommend donating to
Budapest Pride (our biggest longest running pride event, as far as we know they'll still hold it, however attendees could receive a mark in their record or even insanely high fines)
Diverse Youth Network (organizers of our second Pride, held in the city of Pécs, it's very important for us to show that rural cities also have queer ppl)
Háttér Társaság (x) (they provide legal and psychological support for LGBTQ+ ppl, do studies and report on news concerning us)
Amnesty Hungary (x) (they campaign for other causes as well but their main angle in our country is LGBTQ+ rights. They create many events for us and support our Pride)

I am literally fucking BEGGING you all to also acknowledge the racism behind the terms "non-man" and "non-woman" and how they're used in queer definitions.
Black and Indigenous queer people have literally been talking about this since the definition was COINED but there's literally NO acknowledgement of this when pointing out why "non-men loving non-men" and "non-women loving non-women" are shitty fucking definitions to force on a whole community.
"Nonman" and "nonwoman" are terms that have been historically used to describe the degendering of black people in society. And words can obviously be used to mean different things- we don't have to stop using these terms altogether. But forcing these terms on a whole community of queer people is really fucking antiblack.
Not to mention that it blatantly degenders a lot of 2S lesbians and gays as well. It basically tells them that they can't be 2S and as a lesbian or gay at the same time, because then they would be "contradictory." I seriously hope I don't have to explain how racist it is to exclude a large portion of Two-Spirit people from your queer label because they don't fit into your neat little white gender binary.
Like these definitions aren't bad to use for yourself personally- but stop forcing them on all lesbians/gays. And if you're advocating for why these shouldn't be used as the most prominent definition, PLEASE acknowledge the racism aspect of it.

The way she let down her hair
Left me there to stare
Now my love has that effect on me
She’s in all my love poetry
Like she was there the whole time
And now I can call her mine.

Shout out to all the transmascs who realized they were trans because of Taylor Swift’s “The Man”. Definitely not the lesson she was going for…!
Taylor: Y’know what, if I was a man, I’d be considered a god instead of a slut who only writes about exes.
Transmascs: So true, if I was a man, then I’d be THE MAN! Wait a second.

Ice cold takes from a Transgender Woman:
Men are not inherently Evil
Everyone has the capacity for evil
Transgender Men are men
Transgender Women are women
Excluding Cisgender Men from your spaces requires Transgender Men to out themselves if they want to engage (Same for Women)
Anyone can be Non-Binary, there is no "look" or requirement
Non-binary masculine presenting people should be welcome in queer spaces, many are just treated as men and predators
Non-binary feminine presenting people should be welcome in queer spaces without being seen as "Woman-Lite"
Edited the wording on the first point because too many terfs keep thinking I'm their friend.
