By the way, almost positive that tdeardz account is run by a girl who used to be on twitter named sam with username hazelcallahans. She was a very vocal kingdon and patrick fan (and iirc was even the one who started patcrave) before she got "cancelled" in June because a bunch of shit about her routinely problematic behavior in every fandom she's been in came out, including xenophobic comments and extreme parasocialism. People were also on her ass for being too obsessed with patrick and DMing him and starting the trend of sending him flowers at hamlet. I need both Mel and Langdon to get involved with the safe haven baby we know is coming in season 2. It’s impossible with all the living pieces in the ER for one person to stay with the baby but maybe they take turns in between chair and other patients. Getting to hold this tiny little baby is a light in the midst of all their own personal angst. A reminder that there are new beginnings even if they are uncertain and scary. That sometimes your circumstances may be less than ideal but there is still hope.

My therapist, who specializes in adults with ADHD, recently told me that all of her clients need a three day crashout period after a big life change. Finish the semester? Crashout. Change jobs? Crashout. Go on a really cool, really relaxing vacation? Crashout the moment you get home.

It's true of literally all of her clients. She works with a lot of them to put systems in place so that their crashouts are only three days. This includes the high-powered execs who travel regularly for work. It does not matter how successful or high functioning they are - they have ADHD, and a crashout is just part of the process of living with it.

I'm sharing this with all you ADHD friends out there, just in case you (like me) start shaming yourself if your crashout lasts more than one day. It turns out three days is kind of the best case scenario. Be kind to yourselves!
