Hii, i have a question-!! Do you have any fictional characters you think Avery would be great friends with-? If so, whoooo?? ♡

Well, he is already great friends with @xsunnysoftx's Kia Lockhart, and @laplerthefandomtickler's Eldritch Scholar! Really though, I imagine he's good friends with all of my friends' OCs. I do think he'd be friends with @eldelascosquillas-blog's tickle monster, too... though he'd have to get used to the frequency of... ah... well. Aheh... 💙

If you mean characters who aren't OCs, though... hmm...

It's a bit tough to imagine, since most of the characters that come to mind for me are human, and they'd have to get past his whole "being a cloud" thing, haha. But in terms of personality... he'd probably get along with:

Milo Thatch from Atlantis

Any of the professors from Pokemon, particularly Elm, who I think he is very similar to...

Both Blathers and Brewster from Animal Crossing...

Harvey from Stardew Valley, who I also think he's similar to...

Essentially, any professor/doctor/scholar type character you can think of, provided they're friendly, he'd easily get along with and have lots to talk about!

Really, though... he would befriend just about anyone. Despite being shy, he's very social, loves and laughs easily, and generally just finds other people fascinating and likes company. Clouds on Cirropa are very friendly and social in general, they form strong bonds and have fierce loyalty and care for those close to them. Avery's shyness actually makes him a bit of an outlier back home!

Feels weird to be typing this out, but uh, I gotta get this off my chest, and I'll try not to make this too long.

A lot of people have wanted to be friends with me, recently. I do not have a lot of experience with having friends. This is very exciting for me. I have been saying nothing but 'yes' to these requests... They are all but impossible for me to resist.

If you don't wanna be friends with me, cool! I'm perfectly happy with you just being here. If you do, though... I'd appreciate if you read this.

I am autistic. I am socially awkward. I quickly get attached, I'm very affectionate, I will say I love you, I will draw for you, I will ask you about your life, your OCs, your interests. I will come on strong. I will try not to, but, I will; it's just my nature. I love life, I love people, I love with my whole chest. I don't know how to be any other way, and -- friendly reminder! -- I'm thirty years old, so the chance of that changing is pretty much zero.

I will also misread situations, misread intentions, miss social queues, give you advice that's not helpful, and otherwise completely misunderstand you sometimes if you don't communicate with me. This is not an 'if' -- it WILL happen. I WILL do something you don't like, eventually.

If you cannot handle communicating to me that I have upset you or made you uncomfortable, and are just going to disappear or block me when (not if!) this happens… please… do not befriend me. When someone does this, it's painful... and because of how rare it is for me to make friends, it's a new and unique pain, so my tolerance for it is incredibly low.

I know it's hard to be candid when someone offends you... I know that many of us have conflict-related trauma... But I am never, ever going to blow up, get angry, or be mean to you over something like that. In fact, I'll probably thank you, because I know you care enough about the friendship to be honest with me.

Rant over. Okay?

I really, really don't want any comments or asks about this. Please just silently accept this, or don't. If you don't accept this, that's fine! Like I said, I'm cool with you just being here. But, if you want more than that... I need to be able to trust that you're not gonna singe my fragile blue heart.

Oh by the way, I forgot to put this up, but having seen someone else’s bio, I’m here to say: yes! I’m an adult! sorry this is so late for new years theyre trying to forget me how to draw at my retail job and i only remembered last night :(

so... drawing this was mostly for my own benefit. i have. kind of a complex over liking something that is a) not loved by all and b) often fetishized. there may have actually been an event that triggered this. that i forgot about until talking to my friend tonight. lmao

i think most people probably won't care if a tickle fic or two shows up on my blog because most people aren't checking this blog anyway >:] and i wanted to "get ahead of it" so i could stop ACTIVELY avoiding posting any T Word Stuff, but drawing this entire experimental comic instead of just sticking something in my "about me" was mostly just to make MYSELF feel better. yell at the imaginary accuser in my head.

having said that, i wanted to post this anyway on the off chance it reaches some other weirdo embarrassed about tickling (or i guess any other popularly fetishized trope) for similar reasons. be more cringe! be more earnest! you're not being some kind of deviant and anyone who thinks you're being Horny on Main gets put directly in the time-out image from now on, okay? you choose the time length. godspeed.

there really needs to be more hype over ocs. like i get cannon characters are cool. but watching the mass difference from a franchised character and your own is a massive gap. little upsetting ngl. going from a really shit doodle that took less than 2 min to doodle getting over 400 notes, to a drawing you worked hours if not days on only to get 20? i dont post for validation, i post for fun, but like. its hella off putting yk? working so hard on when its your own creation. to something that took 4 seconds to make that's a licenced character. i get it. when something new comes out, you want as much content as possible. thats chill and all, but i cant be the only one that notices this and are little off put by it.

ocs need love. its a bit upsetting to see my mutals upset over this too. like GIVE ME YOUR BABIES. I WILL LOVE ON THEM.

Attention SFW Tickle Community!

I never thought I, of all people, would be the one to do this, but I have news to share…

There has been an anon going around, telling people of the SFW tickle community to delete their account and sending multiple death threats. These screenshots of their messages came from a friend of mine who was a member of this community. This anon would frequently send messages such as this, causing them to turn off anon asks. They also shared that they made a whole account dedicated to harassing them, and most likely others. It seems to have been deleted, but the threats and messages didn’t stop. After they were turned on again, the same anon continued to send these messages, leading them to turn off anon asks as a whole.

It has gotten even worse with the recent update I got from my friend: this anon has begun to hack people’s accounts as well. This happened to my friend’s mutual, whose name I will not disclose for their safety, and this same anon threatened to do the same to my friend, leading them to deleting their account. From what I have heard as of late, they have not attacked anyone else yet, but I am making this post in order to protect other members of the SFW tickle community and prevent more people from being subjected to these disgusting comments.

PLEASE

I implore everyone in the SFW tickle community who sees this to turn off anon asks, and perhaps inbox asks in general. If you do not wish to turn off inbox asks at all, do not respond to these messages should you get them: Immediately IP block/block this user and spread the word of their wrongdoings. These types of people are disgusting for attacking people for having harmless fun, and I will not stand for it.
