My very first Paw Patrol fanart! Let's see if I can draw the other pups in my grown up style like this

This is the first result XD I was going to draw on my Samsung tablet, but it broke... I had to restart on my laptop. Before I got the lineart done, I managed to get my desktop computer fixed and moved the file to it, so I could work there in peace without interruptions. Also you can see I couldn't pick a background pic so I kept both lol

Next comes the big boss, Optimus Prime...  Hooo boy... I still don't know which version I'll draw. We'll see.

Redraw time! Original I drew back in 2012 under the cut.

This is a fanart for a friend's Free Willy fanfic called "Blackfish Saga - Twin Tides". The kids are Taylor and Tyler, the orcas are Paikea and Ikkaika. I tried to keep the cartoon look on the orcas, just with a better/more accurate anatomy.

You see I still work better with animals than with people lol

On a sidenote, the moment I started throwing colors in the sky on my redraw, I automatically began singing "Here comes the sun, doo doo doo doo" XDD

Carstober Day 2 - Favorite Planes Movie

While I love the first movie, it felt a little bit generic to me in the sense that's it's the story of a small character that everyone expects him to do only the thing he was built for all his life but he dreams of becoming something else and then he gets the chance and has to face some fear in order to complete the race. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I love it, I love the characters, I love how the story gets told! But when we put both movies together, the second movie stands out to me way more than the first.

Maybe it's because in my country we don't have any kind of media to "promote" firefighters and rescuers. Everything we got comes mostly from the USA, and most of it are shows for little kids, or adult/live action series. Planes 2 is the only one I know that stands in the middle-ground, as an animation with talking vehicles, but "not specifically for little kids", with a more serious plot and sensation of danger, without being way too heavy for my liking. The closest I've seen to it was Transformers Rescue Bots, which is also aimed for kids but has the privilege of getting an actually great plot.

Planes 2 has quickly become my favorite out of the two movies and I didn't ever think about why tbh. It just felt like it. I'm just sad we don't get to see much of Skipper, Sparky, Dottie and Chug. Damn I wish we could've seen their reactions to the news about Dusty just before the end of the movie. AND I CAN'T FORGET TO MENTION BOTH MAYDAY AND MARU, OK??? I'LL LOVE THOSE TWO TO THE END OF MY LIFE.

Maru is definitely Brazilian with his DIY lifestyle and you can pry this statement out of my dead cold hands.

Carstober Day 1 - Favorite Cars Movie

Guess who's starting things late again? Haha

Anyway, I've decided that the 3rd movie was my favorite the first time I watched it. It was just instant love. While I love all Cars movies, the third one gives me that... Proud mom sensation, y'know? Like, I realize that I got to see Lightning's character development in a way that not many movies show, from an arrogant newbie rookie to the oldest and possibly one of the wisest competitors in the races. His personality and traits too, in the second movie I was already so proud on how he was like "ey you insulted my best friend, I wasn't going to race you because I was looking forward to some relax and down time but NOW I'M GONNA MAKE YOU EAT MY DUST", but the third movie?? Top-tier for me. The way he faces his new reality, the new challenges, he's not old in age but for the races he's getting there, the new discoveries, the new alternatives he gets... AND CRUZ RAMIREZ. God I love her so much. I love her entire story, I love her personality, I love her character as a whole, and most of all, I love the relationship she develops with Lightning. These two are a real menace together and I WISH WE COULD HAVE MORE OF THEM???? Cruz my beloved, I'm gonna cosplay you someday, just wait for it.

On a second note, who wanna bet I won't finish this month long challenge too? XD I'll try at least, let's see how far I'll go.

There are 2 days remaining until the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection is released!

Although I never really got to play the games, this franchise was what introduced me to Mega Man through the Rockman.EXE anime (titled Mega Man NT Warrior in our dub). Unfortunately it didn't last long here in Brazil, I don't even know if we ever got past the first season, to the point not many people remember about its existence - I swear it's so funny when I cosplay as Netto/Lan at anime/comic cons and someone actually recognizes the character, it usually ends up in a lot of screaming and flailing like "Oh my God I never thought I'd ever see someone cosplaying NT Warrior!!!!!" XD

So it's an honor to be able to join this Countdown and re-introduce a lot of my Brazilian followers all over my social media to this gem! And nothing better than to draw fanart of someone I don't get to see as much as I'd like: Gyro Soul Rockman! Look at my boy, he's so excited!

Passistas de Frevo!

It's carnival time here in Brasil, so I opened up YCH commissions on my Telegram channel to draw people's fursonas as Frevo dancers and drew these (first one is mine, the others are for a few close friends) to be an example of what this YCH looks like. I intend to not repeat anyone, every single requested one will be drawn in a different outfit and dancing pose!

Got some requests already, so in a few days I should be posting more of these!

Ontem o filme "Se Meu Fusca Falasse" (The Love Bug) completou 53 anos, que é o número de corredor do simpático Herbie, a grande estrela do filme. Eu gosto muito dos filmes do Herbie, então resolvi fazer esse desenho rapidinho. Que venham mais 53 anos de muito amor pra dar!
