Ugh I love this game, I remember when I started playing and couldn’t stop.
I also thought it was gonna be a cute game for kids but girl, some of those character backstories 😰
I’ve been sick all week and I’ve got addicted to playing Stardew Valley. What I thought was an adorable little farming sim has ballooned into monster slaying and mining and live stock and ROMANCE.
Seriously I’m running around giving gifts to every eligible bachelor available(except Elliot, ugh). You can only give gifts twice a week, and the game basically tells you stop being such a thirsty bitch when you try and give another.
Also, I was not expecting this cute farming game to delve deep into PTSD and depression and a whole host of other serious issues.
Excuse me, I need to go pet my chickens.

Just a suggestion cause I was in a similar situation not too long ago, try a rec sports league. I was worried about making new friends after finishing school, but the league I'm playing with really helped me meet a lot of people. Yeah, it's a bit intimidating being surrounded by a bunch of strangers, but people are usually really friendly at these kinds of things. Not sure if you've moved to somewhere big enough to support it, but you might be able to find a gay league too.
If it's a rec league, people aren't generally too concern if you don't play well, especially if you're a newbie (we all start somewhere) and you try. Exercise is good and get you out of the house at least.
The thing is you guys, I’m really not a slut and I really don’t enjoy sex that much even, but it’s so difficult making friends in a new city - grindr still seems like the best way to me?
I mean, I’ve tried meeting up with guys just as friends over Grindr, but it never goes anywhere.

Just cause I've been super into making macarons at home in the past and I know how finicky they can be, I thought I'd make a quick list of pointers and what I think makes the biggest difference?
1. The fineness of the almond flour makes a difference. Use a seive to get all the fine flour. You can use a food processor or magic bullet to grind up the rest if it's too coarse. It's a long and tedious precess cause the moisture in the almonds makes it a paste. Easily the worst part.
I found that if you're not making macarons right away, it's helped if you leave the flour in a dry place with a breathable cover over (like paper to keep the dust out) to dry out a bit before trying this.
2. After piping, let a dry shell develop before putting it into the oven. If you have a good meringue, it'll still rise perfectly fine. This could be 10 minutes or 1 hour depending on your recipe and the moisture in the air.
3. It's gonna take a couple tries to get the oven temperature and timing right probably. Again, they're finicky to bake. Temperatures can vary wildly between different ovens.
4. Electronic scale and weight ratios. Measure the egg white first then bust out your calculator to see how much flour and sugar you need. Eggs aren't all the same. I use a french meringue (cause it means less clean up) and I use a ratio of 1 : 1.1 : 2.1 : 0.2, whites:flour:icing sugar:white sugar.
Your macarons look amazing.. do you follow a recipe? If so.. mind sharing it?:)
Totes! I’ve been using this recipe as a base as of late: https://pizzarossa.me/2015/10/27/a-step-by-step-guide-to-macarons-using-the-italian-meringue-method/
It might take some tweaking for your own kitchen setup. God knows I’m doing this with no actual pastry training so I’m pretty sure I’ve only gotten this far by failing like a bunch of times.
But hey, even the ones that come weird looking are SUPER tasty.
